The Room was clean & good but toilet was outside of the room which is not convenient. Other service was good & location wise it's far from the bus stop. The bad thing is the local person in this city may misguide you about animal rumours. But if we talk about hotel it's a good place to visit & you will find peace over here. This hotel is located near to Thal beach.

If you want peace and quite surrounding after a long day of travelling and site seeing, this place is super awesome place to be. Homely food and Non veg is super delicious. No matter what I write, if you will not visit the place you will not believe what I am saying. Visit once you will love to visit again. We took the ground floor of the Bungalow. The location is very nice & nature friendly. The Rooms were comfortable. The preparation of food was very awesome. We had dinner in open area which was very pleasant. If they provide A. C. facility on ground floor in future we will definitely visit again.

It’s good place to stay but away from main Beach of Alibag . If you are first time traveler to Alibag then avoid this . Mr owner is nice man and careful and cheerful host ! Food is very good .

Nice place to stay near the Thal beach. The place is quiet and offers a very soothing vibe. The home cooked food is like Cherry on the top.

Lovely place surrounded by greenery. 10 mins walk to the beach. The hosts were very friendly and extremely hospitable. Yummy Maharashtrian food (Make sure to order in advance!) Fantastic place to stay in Thal.

The place is really good but the nearest (Thal) beach is not. It's not a cottage but a homestay. Room is clean but television doesn't work. AC is set and you cannot control the temperature. Takes a lot of time for food to be sent to your room. Food order needs to be placed 4hrs before. No contact person available, you need to roam the premises to followup for food. Also its 6km away from Alibaug beach, 36kms from Kashid and more than that from Murud beach which are like the most visited beaches in Alibaug.

It was a great experience to stay at Ashish Baug. The room provided was nice, clean & cozy with all the required amenities. Very well maintained property. Car parking also available. Thal beach is just a few minutes away. The owners & care taker are really polite & soft spoken & are available when required. Would certainly like visit again & will definitely recommend it to others to consider staying here.

The food was not good as expected In the name of authentic home made food they provide us the normal thali which include chapati small bowl of rice chicken gravy and dry chicken that's it which we normally get at home as well. The quantity is also little as compared to price. We can't find any restaurant or food stall nearby so be careful. Waste of our hard earned money #disappointed

Honestly I dont understand if these are fake reviews or just real people talking about their experience. We have had a stay of 2 days there and the experience was not at all fun or satisfying. You will find only one caretaker to assist with everything. The food price is high , TV doesn't work, room wasnt cleaned or swiped properly because there still was dust all around the place. Food was terrible in matter of taste. Biryani was not biryani it was nothing near to what we call biryani. Chicken tasted refrigerated and stale. I feel extremely frustrated and cheated,to have wasted my hard earned money here. To anyone wanting to visit here please think twice and thrice before booking.

Our stay was excellent. The ambience was quiet and the highlight was the fresh and authentic food cooked and served with love by a sweet simple lady, Pooja Tai. Overall, a nice experience for me and my friends.

Location is 10mins from the beach. It's a cottage with 4 different rooms. A/C room costed 2.2k for 1night. Bit overpriced. Hot water was only available in the morning. Ac does not work when power outage. Overall okey if you are not staying for more than a day.

Had an great time at Ashish Baug! Great hospitality by Mr. Ajit Mhatre. Rooms, beds and washrooms are in great condition. Location is little bit far from the main road so I would suggest getting a personal vehicle. They take orders for lunch/dinner 5hrs in advance. The food, tea and breakfast was great! Hassle free checkin and check out.
