I had a very good opinion about this place. But not anymore. This evening, we ordered a kitkat chocolate cake from the chocolate room through SWIGGY. It arrived on time. The disaster happened after cutting the cake. My 1 yr old niece started eating pieces of the cake while we were having our dinner. It was only when my mother ate a piece that she realised the taste is stale. On closer examination, we found fungus all over. About an hour later, my niece got loose motions. That’s how a cake spoilt our celebration.

If you are a choclaote lover and are craving sweet then this is the place for you. However the staff here is not as friendly and do not talk to you in a friendly manner. 1st thing that I want to highlight is that the AC here was not on, not sure if this place even has an air conditioning hence the place was very warm. We ordered a mojito which was very fresh and a cold coffee which was again very nice. The pasta we ordered was a chicken spicy pasta which was ok and we expected Red sauce but sadly the sauce was missing and the pasta was very dry, the taste however was ok. We also ordered a chicken salad and if you check the photo the salad was covered with mayo and tandoori sauce, when we raised a complaint for the same, the man behind the counter was like.. this is how we prepare salad and we cant do anything about it. That was very rude and that is not how you treat your customers. We left the whole salad and came back. I would rate it 2 stars only for the awesome beverage you get here.

Well, they didn't have half of the items listed in the menu. So we had to settle for triple tier Chicken sandwich (wasn't good enough. However, their chocolate indulgence shake was good. The ambience is good and place is huge. Do give it a try.

The Chocolate room is one of my favorite café serving rich delicious chocolate cakes/truffles/sundaes/hot chocolate etc. So the food is very good as always. It's located on the busy stretch towards the Baga beach. Seating options are available for a large number of guests. Parking is limited. The service needs improvement as they took their own sweet time to get us the sizzling brownie even though the customers were meager at that time of night.

The best mountain brownie I every had its actually huge and feel heavy with lots of chocolate sauce😋 It's like you explore Goa the whole day, and if you are done with your lunch or dinner, come to this place and have a yummy brownie with your loved one. It's will satisfy your pallette. I still can recollect the taste.

If you are looking for a good coffee/chocolate cafe, this one is for you. The chocolate room will not disappoint you. Signature cold coffee 5/5: Absolutely smashed it. A little on the sweeter side, but that's how I like it! Paneer Sandwich 5/5: Paneer was soft and yummy, you will love the sandwich along with a nice cup of coffee or chocolate shake, you won't realise how quickly time can pass by. Music 4/5: Awesome cafe music, a 90's kid would love the tunes. Cost 3/5: It is slightly on the expensive side and probably can reduce the price down, but the quality which they are offering is justifiable to a point. service 4/5: Staff is polite and helpful. They will help you out with the things you want to order and suggest you according to your needs. Food may take some time to arrive, but please note that they are making it fresh. Hence, it may take moe than usual to serve your order, dont come if you're in a hurry.

A great place to simply indulge in chocolaty delights. Among the items which we had ordered, i totally loved the kaapi nirvana and the chocolate pancakes. They both compliment each other very well. When it comes to their pasta and Chocolate Fondue, it's a big thumbs down from me. The chocolate fondue was way too sweet that we felt like not having chocolate for the next two months. Overall, a good place to try when you are craving for chocolates. NOTE: Their calangute branch is great. DO NOT go to their panjim branch. It is very unhygienic. We spotted two cockroaches in the seating area.

Sharing a terrible experience. Would never go for or recommend The Chocolate Room to anyone. My brothers colleagues had ordered on swiggy from Pune a hazelnut chocolate cake for he's farewell today. He's presently working from home, so the delivery was to be done in Calangute, Goa. V received a well- packed cake which was stale. It was such a disgust even to take the slightest bite. On checking the rate, just felt bad that around 600/- was just a waste from he's colleague pockets. A terrible experience. V actually thought that 'The Chocolate Room' was a high standard brand but sadly v were wrong. Way below our expectations.

Well ! Yummy tasty and with lots of options! We went there specially for deserts around 12 am midnight and I had no clue that I’ll be getting confused what to order by looking at so many tempting options they have it. I’m sure all the deserts must be yummy the way they have given description about each deserts and dish at the bottom. Ambience is good, family and young crowd, service is good and offcourse I had the yummiest desert. Will surely visit again to try out new deserts. Best part is this Place is open till 2 am! So enjoy!

I ordered swiss cake from The Chocolate Room today but the cake that I received was completely spoilt!!!! Couldnt be eaten at all!!! So stale! I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF THE CHOCOLATE ROOM ONCE UPON A TIME BUT IM NEVER NEVER NEVER ORDERING ANYTHING AGAIN FROM THE CHOCOLATE ROOM!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! CHOCOLATE ROOM SUCKS

Great place full of mouth watering chocolates and pastries. I had brownie with hot chocolate and it was awesome.

Only UPI and Cash payments are accepted. Card POS machine not available. Staff not friendly, limited options. Feels like a copy shop of "The Chocolate Room". Better to go to McDonald's infront of this shop.

The food quality is great and the experience is Customer centric. They were kind enough to heat and provide milk for the toddler. Also, accommodate the dish based on palate. I highly recommended this place.

The ambience looks good but the employee currently is a rude fellow who is not willing to work. I asked for panino and hot chocolate which was in their menu and he denied so I settled for cappuccino, veg sandwich and brownie. I asked him to bring everything together so that I can eat in my own way, he denied that as well and started arguing with me, his colleague stopped still he kept arguing. The cafe was empty and had only one group so he wasn't even overburdened or anything. He called me to the counter to place order and then turned around and kept doing his work at snail pace while I waited to place my order. These kind of people don't deserve employment since they don't want to work at all. I hope the chocolate house sees it and take appropriate actions.

This coffee shop not only serves a superb cold coffee but also warms the heart with its friendly and attentive service. The cold coffee was rich and delicious, striking the perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness. The staff were equally impressive, displaying genuine friendliness that added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. A definite go-to spot for a delightful coffee experience near calangute- five stars!

A good place to visit if you are a chocolate lover. However, a caution, I forgot my wallet on sofa and left, after sometime I realised that I lost my wallet and I went back to check, the staff was cleaning the table, he knew there is a wallet but he didn't cared to inform his superior or me..!!

A lovely place for Chocolate lovers. Lovely and Yummy lip smacking delicious Chocolate cakes, pastries and Ice creams. Must visit place when you're at Baga.

We got a sandwich and pasta. The food was good . Not great but again not horrible either. We did not try any desserts though.

We tried hot chocolates two times. 3 different varieties. It was very good both the times. Although on the pricey side, it was a good experience.

Had a decent cup of coffee here. Good coffee beans. Place isn't much to talk about other than that. Service staff should be trained better.

Can dessert lovers go here??? I would say "YESS " ofcourse.. amazing desserts . We tried the hazel nut pastry , the chocolate mousse and rum cake..and everything was just so delightful. I would say a must visit in Goa , and 5/5 stars to it. Hope to get there soon again.

A great place for all the chocolate lovers. The options are huge, am quite impressed with the variety they offered. Brownies and Sundaes are nice. But the chocolate itself was too sweet. The ambience is really nice by the way. The pricing is decent for the they offer. Ambience is nice too.

Good place for couples to hangout during evening hours after a long day of tour and visiting places. Also, when you're new to a place you expect the staff to recommend their specials or their best sellers. But, when asked these guys were like meh. If you're coming from metro cities you'll feel there's nothing unique about the place. Average taste, cakes tasted better than Ice cream shakes (more like ice shakes)

Tried to order 3 different things from the menu, they didn't serve any of them. neither the paninis or the nacho, so we went to another place.

They do serve good food, but then when we went to order, more than half of the items on menu were not available. Also, the Manu says the sandwich comes with fries and dips, but they bring it only if they want it... one sandwich come with, the other doesn't, even though both had written that they had this side. Bad quality service and the people rudelly refuse to talk to you.

Excellent birthday cake...We loved it..They gave us knive and candles also.
