Doctor's are irresponsible here and treat patients and there families like dogs. Supper rude, toilets are dirty not at all organised and give priority to higher rankings and know people like cast system. On the 1st June 2023 at 12 afternoon to 2pm there was a patient ( women50s age )was in severe pain and crying outside of Urology department at 3rd floor and asking help from every staff even front of Dr AK Shah who is head of department when he was passing by and he just ignored and laughing with he colleges and most disappointment was all the staff was preparing for some party and celebrating cake cutting in the working hours. how irresponsible these people are choosing party in working hours over human life.

In a nutshell : they don't respect below officer rank personnel and wards. They treat them rudely. I personally experienced this. They scold me infront of everyone and their assitant very badly clean my teeths with machines in hurry leads to bleeding.when talk to officer madam she had not done any thing. Ex-servicemen and theirs wards they feel down. Ortho doctors and assistant talk very politely to officers and their children but rudely talk to other ranks. Doctors must learn to give equal priority and especially in terms of behaviour towards other ranks. If you are ex-servicemen or below officer rank Your children can experience this. Poor experience. As a spouse of air force personal,,, I want to said this hospital infrastructure .. Cleanliness is Fabolous..doctors are overloaded by work... So that they gave not proper consultation with patients ( specially jawan wife) and a very special thing I faced doctors told us in their consult room ?? R u officers wife... No mam too... Waha mat baito.... Udhar jao... Same rude behavior by MNS and all staff... And in the same place... When officers wife ask any question they reply very polite way with incline position II am not pointing anyone to this whole system but my humble request to they all pleased don't discrimination mat rakhiye.. I am a retired IAF officer and w/o a serving officer. I recently delivered my baby at AHRR, and the gynae and paed staff is extremely good and supportive......But here I will take this platform to confess that even being an Army hospital,the administration is extremely POOR. starting from admission till discharge is pathetic.. I had already crossed my EDD during the time of admission and was told to report on a certain date. and even at such a complicated time I was told to go here and there without any support .......... I am very fit otherwise but at that stage it was so painful.

My mother went into ICU due to negligence of doctors they think they are good but the residents think they are god beaware of residents read carefully before signing up for any OPERATION there is a guy a doctor in IVL who say if u r in defence u have to obey orders by hook or by crook regarding of any operations if we think this operation should be done so it will be done because u r in army or someone is SERVING in defence so this is the weak point they say if u deny for any OPERATION that u will think it will harm ur body sometimes ur intuition are right follow ur extinct in these hospital they will either test and say u r ok until u r sick to go to icu then they will treat u beautifully

It's one of the oldest hospital available for armed forces. The facilities are available at marginal cost, as per the rank. It's massive infrastructure is one of the largest, however it needs to be modernised, to accommodate as per the modern medicine. Facilities, medicine, doctor's, infrastructure needs upgradation. They also need to change certain parameters related to admissions and admissibility. Connectivity is age old, you need to walk more than 2 miles to get to it. Situated in narrow lanes, so it remains chaotic, and very difficult to be access for the aisling patients.

There cannot be any other hospital like this in India. The doctors are very good and they are concerned about the patients. They communicate well with the patients and family. I salute the doctors who work day and night to save the lives of patients. I agree that this is a very big hospital and there are many patients here, that is why there is pressure on the doctors and sometimes their behavior is a bit strange. Compared to the behavior of army doctor, it is much better than that of civilian doctors.

The most pathetic experience ever with any medical facility. They take you for granted if you are not dying maybe. If you go for any complain no matter how badly it os affecting you, they will laugh straight at your face. I visited there due to unbearable pain ,as it was closet to my house and considered to be best as per my serving husband. The doctor who finally spoke to me laughed at face asking me why I had come here and started explaining me the meaning of the hospital. Even if it was beyond his capability to diagnose or his workload didn’t allow , he should have atleast ask me to visit somewhere else rather than laughing on my face. no one likes visiting a hospital that too on a working day without any reason. Regular patients are ignored due to fear of corona. OPD is conducted only on one day for each department instead of two or three opds and that is on main gate. People not allowed in main building. Iam a renal transplant receipent 68 year old, disabled and due to corona fear as advised not going out. Now need immediate follow-up. Open the normal opds please.

I got referred from BASE hospital to RR and the receptionist at PRO denied for the registration after giving him the depend card when I asked him for the reason he said the details are not correct. For past 26 years I have been using my depend card for the army medical service and this was the very first time I have been to RR worst experience. I wish I could mail it to someone regarding the same .Even he was treating everyone patient in the same way. Atleast someone should know how to talk to a lady. Good hospital with all modern facilities and good doctor s,, but tokken system not good for metting doctor s,,, or test ,,, Not following by hospital staff.. if any relative of Staff comes for test then he gives entry 1st with out tokken and other tokken holder stand outside in line... no matters of age you are 85 years or 25 years... And once you get tokken then doctor written next test if necessary then old tokken not work and again need new tokken .. and staff misbehave again with you for new tokken and his relatives not required any tokken ... And some time tokken in hand for any body test but on screen tokken no not running... Doctors behaviour very polite but lower level staff very bad ,,,

There is counter if dispensary in RR entrances AAshiyana Army and resident Dr has prescribed a medicine which a offr patient suppose to take two tab in early morning hours two civilians were standing there in counter one took the prescription slips other gave the medicine and wrote nil inspite of having when I told him that it is must then he sobbingly gave as punishment to consume 8 tab in morning asking officer to ask patient 25 mg when they had 100 mg two tablets which should be given and then he both denied I have not taken the precription slip until offr lost his cool this civilians, ward sahayak and nursing offrs and Dr are become worst in army disrespecting offrs, treating jco Nco and ors families as lords because Dr prescribe the medicine from rank of lt to col, and these civilians, jco ,Nco, ors illtreat offr, there family during time of treatment all rules are ment only for offrs and family why it is not for Jco NCO or families there are given free everything then they cry. This is how AHRR treat the officer old dependant pl check them. Why the hell civilian kept in dispensary to ill treat the offrs family or to take revenge on the officer who caught some civilians and or Nco and jco intoxicated on duty or jco abusing near offrs family qtrs or in civil area. Next time it will be quoted with video on NDTV.

Good facilities, experienced and excellent Doctors. Nursing services and services of support staff needs a lot of improvement. The uniformed support staff like ward masters are dedicated and highly professional. Doctors are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Nursing services need massive improvement.

I don't know about other staff, but the medical staff in Opthalmology department especially reception staff is worst. They keep you waiting so long and then tell you to come next day...worst staff. Treat patients like dogs.

Off n on ,quite infrequently ( God help me so ) I have been going to AH(R&R) for over 20 years now . While the medical / health care staff , facilities and equipment is all top class ; matching if not better than anywhere else , the maintenance and patient care part has certainly deteriorated over the years as has been the quality of patients’ food . Entire place requires extensive and thorough scrubbing and dusting . Outsource , if there is manpower shortage, keep supervisors on their toes but please don’t permit routine , regular cleanliness to be compromised with .

However, administration can review the appointment's schedule, waiting time, repeative visit , unwarranted tiring very long treatment plan Efforts can be made to minimize waiting and reduce nos of visit. Value of time of all affected visitors must be considered and campared with same facility in civil dental facility. One can easily find the huge difference. It will also enhance the effectiveness of doctors, their compative competency, satisfaction of all affected. This is the worst hospital I ever visited even government hospitals are way better than this, I wonder why these doctors (humans) behave like god and see us patients as if we are a low life, forget any respect if you are jawan GD, you will be treated as if you add no value to the military, they will just ignore you and leave you in a critical situation and all you could do is beg them for help. Always be ready with these words if you ever visit this hospital(please sir please sir). Believe me this is the ultra refined language that I used while writing this review.
