The perfect place for a short getaway. Get to stay in a heritage villa surrounded by nature. A lot of thought has gone into making it a fabulous leisure stay. The food was absolutely amazing. The cook used to make new dishes everyday with ingredients straight from the gardens. Definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful Bungalow in the midst of a tea garden. There are a lot of space to unwind in the premise. A large open area with a gazebo in front. Gardens all around. The property boast of a temple where arti is performed regularly. A nice machaan is at the back with a sitting area where a barbecue and pizza oven is located. A nice game area with table tennis board etc. is also available. The Bungalow is huge having 4 large rooms with AC for guests and a living room followed by a large dining. Bathrooms are clean and good. There is a tree house too but it's just basic. Food is good and service is fantastic. My advice is that being in a tea estate charging about Rs. 100/- for a cup of tea looks out of place. Otherwise its a very laid back place. Had a great time there.

It was a pleasure to visit this gem of a place on an extended weekend holiday, this place was everything we could ask for a peaceful weekend getaway in midst of lush tea garden and a fully functional home of the hosts, indeed one of the apt homestay experience with all the luxury and grandeur. Keshav's keen interest of upcycling various vintage /contemporary available to him has added a mystic aura to the place. They have a fully equipped kitchen and numerous chilling spots in the property which have 14 swings in total. Everything was perfect from our welcome to our departure... Will definitely visit this place with longer holiday plan soon...

Sapoi is a Gem hidden deep in the tea estates of Assam. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was certainly a highlight of our week long North East Trip. Keshav has done a tremendous job with the Heritage property. There are so many corners to the huge property, each with its own vibe - A gazebo, A small dip pool, 2 Machans each with their own gardens... there is no shortage of places to unwind. The hospitality by Keshav's parents was beyond amazing, as were the conversations with them. The staff is the backbone of this experience, they spared no effort in making us comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing, we were pampered with the food choices and got try a wide range of local & Regular dishes. Note that this is a secluded property with very limited sightseeing/travel spots nearby. Go here for a relaxing staycation, take walks on the property, sit back and relax. The rooms are clean and well maintained, despite age of the property. Do follow directions from keshav to reach the property with best route. Roads are fairly good from Guwahati. Keep in mind that there extremely few to none restaurants along the way, so plan your travel accordingly. Khar Khua Dhaba just before mangaldoi is probably the only good place we saw along the way. So have an early lunch here while traveling to Sapoi. Overall a great estate stay, I would certainly recommend a stay with Sapoi.

There are no words to describe my stay at Sapoi, it was the best experience and I cannot wait to go back here. The peace of mind you get here, is unparalleled. Keshav is a great host and has built the entire place with his own hands and its easily visible to anyone going here, that Sapoi is as good as it is because of the love Keshav has poured into the entire place. The food is great, the silence and peace are great, Kelvin is great fun (He's the farm dog and is an absolute sweetheart), there's tons of games and so many cute hidden corners where you can just fall asleep, read, work, do anything you wish to. It honestly feels like I'm sticking out like a sore thumb in the city after coming back and I can't wait to go back to Sapoi for a longer stay!

Sapoi Tea Estate an idyllic destination with a perfect home stay to treat your taste buds with a sip of tea while admiring the lush green colors of garden with a heaven like experience. A place worth visiting and highly recommended for a best experience to understand the intricate process of tea production. A walk through the lush green tea estate with some interesting nuggets on the history of the place completes the visit. Not to forget mentioning the hospitality of the tea estate owner which adds charm to the place.

It's a beautiful homestay with exceptional hospitality. Tourists will experience the outcome of the host's passion and effort for giving an outstanding service and creating beauty at every nook and corner of the place. If you are staying at this place, you will get to experience the never ending Tea gardens, beautiful sunsets, one can also learn the process of making tea by visiting the Sapoi Tea factory and indulge in unlimited binge worthy food (from local Assamese meal to kababs to wood-fired pizzas made live). Amazing food, amazing staff, incredible hospitality and one of a kind experience. I would strongly recommend.

The owner, chef, and all the staff could not have been kinder or more service-oriented. The tea estate is beautiful to walk around and the tour of the tea estate and manufacturing process was outstanding. The friendly and professional managers were exceptionally knowledgeable. The meals were prepared with produce from the on-site organic garden and was outstanding - healthy and super delicious. The home is lovely and perusing the books in the library and photos on the walls was fun. The bedrooms are large. A relaxing get-away with outstanding food and people. Highly recommended!

Absolutely gorgeous interiors, has a unique antique aesthetic. Highly recommended for an easygoing vacation with friends and family. The food is service is particularly good and the owners are rather welcoming and look into your queries firsthand. They also have a game room having table tennis, billiards, archery, darts among facilities for outdoor sports as well.

A fantastic place in the midst of a tea garden. Lush green tea plants everywhere. It is a big beautiful bungalow with many cool hangout spots. They have a treehouse which has pristine sunset views. The best part was the hosts' hospitality. They cater to your every need, be it organizing tea factory tours, to preparing whatever meal you fancy.

The property is located in the tea gardens. It's more of a home rather than a commercial property. The owner was really courteous. The guest are welcomed in traditional way. The view of tea garden and sunset is breathtaking. They also give you a tour of tea factory. The tour is really good. The food ambience lighting was awesome.

Though the ambience of the tea estate is good, kindly cross check the room which will be provided to you. This is because on phone we were told that the beds are large, but we were given a very small room with a bed smaller than a queen size, and it was squeaky. Only because we had paid the advance and the place was remote, did we stay back.

An excellent experience of tea gardens in the midst of Assam near Dekiajuli, Sonitpur District. The hospitality by the owner Shri Keshav Kanoi was with a lot of personal touch, he was there full day with us to explain us various process of tea and wide variety of plants that will be a treat to any one interested in Gardening, Lunch was excellent and words fall short to describe the mix of Assamese and North Indian cusine delicately prepared under personal supervision of Shri Keshav. The tour manager Mr Frank conducted us around tea gardens and Tea Factory, It is recommended for a night stay, Rooms and washrooms are excelelnt done up to give a touvh of Old English Style Cottages. Dont Forget to pick up some fine herbal tea before leaving. The ideal season would be Winters and before onset of Peak Summer. ACs are there in all rooms

We visited Sapoi Tea Farms for a short summer break with family. It's a thoughtfully arranged, well maintained & aesthetically done up space. It facilitates recreational activities & offers a perfect environment to relax at the same time. Keshav is such an amazing & interactive host to take you through the property & it's journey so far. Subhash & team puts home made food on your table. Taste & Hygiene goes hand in hand. The lunch served was a Veg Thali which was just ok but the Non Veg fusion served for dinner & the breakfast on the following morning was very good. Brownie points for the in-house herbal infused tea pot served in the morning while we were enjoying the view of the Tea Farms from the tree house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & certainly going to revisit the property soon to explore more.

A home away from home. Awesome hospitality ✔️ Cleanliness ✔️ Amazing food ✔️ Topnotch Service ✔️ An experience worth every penny spent. As a first time experience for me in a tea estate Sapoi has left me speechless. A rare find to just relax, getaway, rewind and have a good time... be it just by yourself, with friends or family. Thank you to the Sapoi family for opening up your home to us and letting us take away this awe-inspiring feeling that would stay with us forever. Shout out to all those travellers and explorers out there, this one is worth experiencing!

A beautiful and fun escape from the hustle of the city. Perfectly located in the tea plantations of Sapoi, this is a perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family. The Kanoi Family who owns and tends to the property are the warmest and most pleasant people to be around. They take all care and effort to make your stay there memorable and gratifying. From the food, they served to their hospitality everything was topnotch and worth mentioning.

This is a serene little place in the middle of the tea gardens. Not your typical British era bungalow though, but we really liked it. One can make out that Keshav and team have taken a lot of pains to personally look into every detail. The passion of the owners is evident. Rooms are large and minimalistic which is great. The food was homely and authentic. Please do read the house rules as many things are chargeable, like room heater, bonfire and driver's stay. The property has bicycles that you can ride across the estate. They also have all kinds of games like TT, badminton, darts etc to keep you busy. We had a wonderful stay for 1 night. However, As a wildlife enthusiast and nature lover, the only thing that made me a little uncomfortable was the huge leopard skin and head on display in the living room. I wish they had not showcased that as a trophy in today's day and age. I think it is avoidable.

We had the most lovely stay with Keshev and the team at Sapoi Tea Farms. Situated out in the remote countryside of Assam, the grounds are beautifully floral and peaceful. We instantly felt relaxed from the moment we checked in. The room was spacious, clean, nicely curated and featured a bed which was large and comfortable! The team here were simply wonderful - couldn't have asked for more. They are kind, friendly and always glad to help with any queries we had. The food was simply outstanding - some of the best we've eaten in our time in North East India. The chef always took the time to present his ideas for the upcoming meal and was super flexible with any dietary changes we wanted to make. The home is grand and beautiful - originally built by older generations in the family - it has stood the test of time and was a pleasure to explore. There's a comfortable lounge with history books on the area and tea culture, as well as games, reading books, music and television (if you wish). There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy such as badminton, billiards, ping pong and many more! We thoroughly enjoyed the many chill out spots and plunge pool! You will never run out of ways to spend time here, and we would have loved to stay another week (at least)! The grounds are beautifully gardened and you can always hear birds chirping, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Bicycles are available to explore the grounds and view the tea plantations in all their glory. We were also kindly shown around the incredible factory whilst in operation. The managers kindly offered us an insightful tour and were happy to answer any questions we had. Would highly recommend it to anyone/family looking for a peaceful time away in nature - we can't wait to come back! 😃

Keshav is a great host and made my stay here absolutely wonderful. I love the way how he used uprooted trees to design majority of the furniture. My most favourite part of this place is the greenery teamed with cleanliness! P S: A must visit if you are traveling to Assam for leisure!

Was scheduled to spend 1 night here with my family. We loved the place so much, that we cancelled our next day’s plans and extended our stay! The effort and care taken by the hosts and all the staff to make you feel warm, and at home, was unparalleled! The entire property, the tea estate, the bungalow, was something I’ve not experienced before. It was a relaxing yet learning experience. Wish I could keep coming often!
