This Place is amidst Nature around Kalakeri, Dharwad. Its 2km from kalakeri village (20km from DWD). There are no entry fee, hotels, tea stalls or washrooms available. You have to carry your own food. I have visited this place on weekends So i didnt find much crowd.

Best view point I loved itπŸ€— . . During summer and winter it's just too dry, all you can see in brown colour. You can go there by any means, buses are available till kalkeri and from kalkeri you have to travel some 4 to 5 Kms inside, road is not all good and not the best option to travel through this muddy road during rains and after forth for some days. After travelling for some 4 Kms passing kalkeri, you reach a temple where you can park your vehicles and start trekking from that temple towards the checkpoint, it's a very short trek of about 2 Kms and almost any kind of person can do that much of walking, so, even if you are obese you can surely and definitely trek there and enjoy the soothing view from above the viewpoint. The pic of the viewpoint has been posted, so you get an idea of how the place would be above. Any kind of resources are not available, carry your own resources. Morning and evening would be the best time to visit .

Sweet and short trek leads to a beautiful view...But it's not allowed for public now...n If you still wish to go, take the permission of forest guards in prior( which they give rarely ). One of the best place near Dharwad to go for a weekend hike.

A short hike (Level: Moderate) near Dharwad. You can have 360Β° view from the watch tower, best sunrise and sunset views possible with mountain view.

Best hill top view it’s just mesmerising you need to go in the early morning till 9 or else the police won’t allow you inside for the trek. The trek is of 2 km it can be done on a bike also but not on a car. You can easily ride your bike till the hill top

β€’πŸ“Visiting a sunrise πŸŒ… viewpoint can be a memorable experience, as it offers an opportunity to witness the breathtaking colors and peaceful ambiance of the early morning hours. It's important to check the local sunrise timings and plan your visit accordingly to ensure you don't miss the spectacle...., πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹.

View point was worth, but its not couple friendly since it's in forest. Vehicle parking is difficult since ppl will punchur the wheel, so do visit with Stepney or other arrangements.
