Best place to watch Sunrise if you reach this place by 7. Almost like a mini trekking experience. Only problem here is the road from down to hill can be climbed only by jeeps. It's extremely hard to take two wheelers unless you're a pro rider. There are several spots on hill top. Carry your own food if you're traveling from far. There's only one shop where you get some local food below the hill. Also there's a ticket counter and they charge you 50Rs per person. Carry light luggage if your planning on climbing the hill by walk, also wear comfortable shoes as it is bit slippery due to lot of stones on the road. Perfect off road experience though!

Very beautiful view point surrounding with hills. Jeeps are available at entry gate to reach this place, charging 1500 rs for 5 members, 1700 for 7 members and its negotiable. As road is in very bad condition, better to park your vehicles at "hotel kyatanamakki" place and get the jeep. Its a completely off road experience, road is in very bad condition only jeep can go. Never ever try with your private vehicles including 2 wheelers. Timings: 6 AM-6 PM. Don't miss the sunset here. Please don't litter this beautiful place and avoid plastics.

Beautiful place. Locally called as Gali gudda , as the name says heavy wind and if you visit during rainy season then it is hide and seek with fog . The sad thing is plastic traces and bottles are seen everywhere . If you don't respect nature then please don't go there.

This place really deserve 5 star rating. Walk to hill top was really good l. Even my 5 year old daughter was able to climb the hill and enjoy fruit that we grabbed on the way. This place is really beautiful. You should not miss this place if you are visiting arround this place. You can take Jeep if you don't want to walk..

Beautiful landscapes and off road experience. We visited during monsoon. 2 days prior to posting this review. It was heavy raining and takes around 40 mins to reach to the top via jeep. The off-road experience is heavily adventurous in that jeeps. U can try off-road trekking also. Quite risky. 4.5km one side and around 9km total distance if u prefers to trek urslef. If we go during this season, vibes will be good, climate feels cool. But u can’t see enough greenery. Completely fog. So if u want to enjoy the cold weather and heavy rains, come during monsoon. If u prefer only greenery and mild cold, come during October to December. Must visit place if u r planning for monsoon ride.

Awesome place. It is located 13km from Kalasa and the car can go till forest checkpost. The entry fee is 50rs per head and you'll have to hike for 2.5KM. The hike is very easy on a jeep track. If you want to experience Jeep ride, there is an option at the base. Usually they charge around 1K per jeep. Best time to visit is immediately after mansoon during August to December. After January the place will start drying up. These are Feb 2022 photos. For adventure bike riders this place is good. Last 2.5km jeep track will be fun to ride.

Beautiful destination. Amazing place for nature lover. Come with family qnd friends and peace out. You cant come through your own vehicle unless you have a offroader. We parked our car there and took jeep ride. He took 2200rs for 7 of us and you need to pay 50 rs per head for ticket before entering . I have visted two times and before vehicles used to come till the end but now they have put a fence so from there you need to climb. Kindly keep the place clean.

Excellent place to trek, I would not suggest to take a jeep if you are in group, The place is totally safe for girls also to trek. Weather is amazing, Entry fees of 50 Rs per person is worth

Beautiful place , for biker it's a wonderful adventure.. even the dry road gives you a tough competition.. . Parking is available at the top. Jeep ride is available 50rs entry fees.. Only thing is they dont allow to ride till top. As a bike/ Adventure lover it feels like an incomplete ride. Still we went to the top and had a little clash with the local jeep driver's.. rest everything is good even the officers are friendly and cooperative. ✌✌😍 I would say August to November is the best time.

A beautiful sunset point....Way to reach this place is thrilling.....Hire a jeep and see jeep driver taking you to hill view through a mud road which is so small and literally hardly any road is there..... I feel jeep driver taking us till this point are real stunt mans...

We woke up at 5:30 and started our drive from Kalasa in a jeep. There's an entry gate where you have to pay 50/person. After 25 minutes off-roading we reached a point from where you need to walk for 20 minutes. After all this when you reach the sunrise point, the view is breathtaking. We didn't want to leave only. Must visit place, just have some patience during the off-road.

Wonderful. Best view of western ghat range. One can reach the top through hiring local Jeep and trekking. Try to visit during monsoon season as mountains would turn green. This place is close Horanadu temple and Kalasa town.

Specatular place for hill station lover's. You can reach here by jeep or by hiking. The views are just incredible from the peak. It gets foggy once in a while and gives specatular view for photo shoots. Make sure to know your way back cos ther are chances one could get lost.

The top-of-the-hill view is amazing. Drive to this location by Mahindra 4x4 Jeep itself is an experience one should not miss. There are experienced drivers to take you there. Those who enjoy off-road driving will be thrilled with the drive here.

It's a really awesome location. Highly recommended for young people. Traveling to a peak in a Jeep is hard. The road is not maintained. But the view is simply awesome . It's beautiful on earth. But I request all visitors to don't throw plastic. It's not a dustbin it's a beautiful location protect it.

Must visit place in June,light mist and fog at morning & entry ticket price is 50rs per head . It is approx 8kms far from horanadu Annapurna temple. Those who have visited temple can visit this place

You can reach this point by hiring a local jeep ONLY. It is a complete off road experience. A short uphill walk after reaching a point will bring you to this beautiful velvety expanse of mountains. It is a mesmerizing 360 degree view. There is an entry fee. Carry water as there is nothing available at the top. The drive is not for people who have health issues. The jeeps are available from the hotel kyatanamakki view point hotel (just at the fork road)

Visited Galligudda 1st Nov 2022. Place to enjoy 360 degree views of grass lands of western ghats. Easily reachable by a adventurous jeep drive. It will cost you 1500 per jeep from base to top. Base camp can be reached by half an hour drive from Horandu temple

It's a Hilltop near Horanadu and kalasa it's in the control of forest department to go here we need to higher local jeeps which has four wheel ride as it has to go through forest rough road s and no network is available but on the top of the hills a very pleasant you can enjoy your time over here very clean you can see mountains surrounding Sahyadri mountains really good place to enjoy

At the peak of a mountain, I saw a beautiful sunrise. The sky was dark, and the air was crisp. As the sun appeared, the colors were vibrant, and the mountains around me were illuminated. It was a peaceful and beautiful moment that I will always cherish.

One of the best view points in Karnataka. The drive in a 4x4 jeep to the view point is something that should not be missed. The view on a bright sunny and clear day is just outstanding. The way the Jeep drivers manoeuver on these roads is an experience by itself and something close to the drive to Kodachadri hills. There are no roads but still they make roads and drive so confidently. The parking facilities at the view point for the jeeps are well maintained and the route and trek path to the view point is well maintained but challenging. A fee of Rs.50 is collected for all going towards the view point. An amount of about Rs.4,000 is charged for the drive to Kyatanamakki hill view along with few other sight seeing places, but it’s worth every penny. A great opportunity for photography and to enjoy the splendour of nature. If you are around Hornadu, Kalasa or Kudremukh, please make it a point to visit Kyatanamakki view point. You will never regret your decision. Have a great time and stay safe.

Wonderful mountain top which presents a 360 degree panorama. The sunset view was glorious. One can reach at the base in own car. The last 2-3 km requires a 4x4 with low range transfer case. One would normally find it available any time you reach. No food or drinks available at the top. So one needs to carry it - especially water. It waa cool and breezy at 6 pm even in April month.

Great views from the top. This is known for the sunset. The route to reach this view point is complete offloading. There are Jeeps available at the foothills. They charge 1600/- for the entire Jeep. The entry fee is 50/- per person. I need to be a little careful with old people and kids while riding the jeep. Even though the jeep drivers take care and drive responsibly.

Must visited place. Beautiful nature.. Jeep ride is adventurous.. Also there is a Jain hotel, they serve homely food.. service is also bet. Not much space. Can occupy 15 seats.. If anyone plans to have lunch , that is the best small hotel.. affordable price
