The food was good. The restaurant is not well maintained though! It has lost its charm and needs to scale up! The service was fair and quick when I visited the restaurant. It needs to improve a lot to catch up with the new competitors.

This restaurant has lost its charm. Not maintained well enough to compete with other competitors. Quality of food has drastically gone down.Customer service is poor, staffs are cold and seems not interested with their job. Taking wrong order and If we want to complain there is no manager on duty, the whole restaurant is run by a cashier who is not at all interested in the quality of service they provide.

Good ambience and service, but food didnt match our expectations. Wonton Soup was good, egg fried rice and veg manchurian balls average (felt that the balls were burnt). I didnt like the special golden dragon noodles, it was oily and didnt have any taste.

This place is a pure Chinese Restaurant, situated near Palarivattom circle. It is a small joint and now the ambience inside the restaurant is not much appealing. The restaurant serve veg and non-veg chinese dishes. Non veg items include sea food, poultry, beef, lamb and pork. All sea food items, like crab, may not be available all the time. We have ordered soups, starters and main course. Soups are very spicy and taste raw ginger & lemon grass. Small pieces of these would come to your mouth and you may not like the taste. So if you don't like them, u can tell to avoid it while ordering itself. Starters were also not good. We ordered stuffed chicken lollipop. But there was no 'stuffing' at all. Sweet n Sour veg curry was not at all good. Chicken momos, chicken fried rice and butter garlic noodles were good. Prices are towards higher side compared to the standard of the joint. But the quantity is more. One portion of chicken fried rice is adequate for 2 people.

It’s one of the Chinese eat outs in Cochin which has been pretty consistent in delivering tasty food for many years. Sweet corn chicken soup is one of the best I have tasted. The chilli hot potato and honey crispy chicken is a default order every time we come. My kids love the food. So do I.

It was a bad experience for me. I bought chilli pork, si chug mixed fried rice and mixed noodles. The old taste of this restaurant is now all fading away. The fried rice and noodles were bad because of how simple and bland it was. Also it does not even taste like Chinese food. Not even a little msg was put into it, which is actually necessary in Chinese dishes. But the chilli pork was really tasty with a hint of spice and sweetness. I now can confirm that Chiyang is now also the best Chinese restaurant that i have been because of their great variety taste and preservation of the recipe as before.

One of the good Chinese restaurant in ernakulam. I have tasted Dragon Chopsuey Chicken and was Good. Suggested for having lunch or dinner with friends or family .There are many dishes to try. The service is good. Car parking is available. A nice restaurant to enjoy varieties of Chinese dishes in Palarivattom. Overall Good. 👍🏻

When we went there our table was set with empty cutlaries. We had to tell them to fill it up with vinegar and ketch up. For Chinese cuisine the restaurant is really awesome, and even the ambience is very cool. Dessert options should improve.

A good place to eat chinese, a bit expensive but not off the charts. Portion size is large, so prefer not ordering a dish per person if you are with a group.

Had an average experience on the food and ambience. Expectations were higher because opted for having genuine Chinese dishes.. but came to be as normal as other restaurants Chinese dishes.

However, our visit happened just before their evening break, and it was apparent that the restaurant was about to close. This resulted in a bit of a hurry from the service side. Nevertheless, the food quality is worth a try.

Been a regular here and their other restaurants in kochi. The food is still great with variety of Chinese options. The inside atmosphere has dwindled however for last years.

The food is okay! I ordered crispy chicken with honey sauce, chicken manchow soup, mixed schezwan Fried noodles & shredded chicken with green and red chillies. They taste average. Could have been better. The sweetness is little too overwhelming. It felt like home made food which is okay, but not expected from a restaurant. They do have a variety of dishes to offer in non-veg starting from crab, shrimp, poultry, lamb, pork, beef and squid.
