This Place is Back to one building. Not easy to find the place, you have to walk into the sides of building and there you will find a small pathway and inside that this place is there. This is a small and beautiful place worth Visiting. This is built above the water and within mangrove trees. Plug in some music and have a seat or take a walk.

It’s a beautiful place to be in the lap of nature. It is an amazing feeling to walking on the wooden walkway which passes through the mangrove forest. There are benches to sit and relax. There’s a waterbody next to it and and a manmade waterfall as well. The entrance is dirty and stinky. People had party on the walkway and left the materials back there on the broadwalk. Pathetic behaviour of people. Kindly collect your garbage and keep it clean

The security guard a few minutes from the entrance to the boardwalk said it's closed but couldn't explain why or when it will re-open. So I went to see for myself and it seemed to be open. The gate was unlocked and there were no closure signs. I got to enjoy a few minutes of the boardwalk before the security guard came chasing after me. It makes no sense why this would be closed. Everything there seemed fine. It's also weird that there's no signage explaining what is going on. It's a beautiful place being ruined by poor management. Shame on the government.

We thought there would be boating but only a walk way. Shady and mushy area, maintained clean with dust bins. Stagnant water gives a foul smell. Can click few photos and spend time by chit chatting

Very hard to locate on road. It shows however on Google Maps. You must look out for Goa State Central Library. The place is behind this building. This was recently constructed as part of Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) initiative.

We went there as punjim is famous for colourful houses. The colours of the house were washed out due to rain. only 1 to 3 houses were coloured recently but the place is the best for photoshoot. Coming to ppl over thereπŸ₯Ά they are very rude and always interrupting as if we entered their own house without permission. They wantedly ride bikes and cars if they see a squad chilling..

A lovely place to spend an afternoon or an early evening. It’s calm and serene. We went there after an afternoon lunch and this place has shade, a long pathway on board lot of small benches to sit around, not much of noise so we get our time and a time to relax. This place isn’t like typical Goa but worth a visit after having heavy lunch in Fontainhas which is right next to this place walkable distance.

At first , it looked like a place a lot less than what we had expected. But the broadwalk continues some distance and it was beautiful to view and take photos. Nice place to sit and relaxin the evenings. Beautiful view of trees and river. Maintenance of this place could be improved further , some paths below had been broken and had to be very careful with that. Typically you can spend an hour here(sit on the benches/take photos if you like) as the place is not very big. If you just want to walk, then its a 10 min walk from one end to the other. It is located right behind the central library in goa. The maps wont take you to the exact location but you can park your vehicle and walk upto this place.

Good to experience the walk in this Mangrove Broadwalk. It’s also being used as pre wedding shoot destination. In google opening timings are given as 9 AM but we reached there at 8 AM and it’s already open. Parking space available and entry fee is 20 rupees per person.

Now...Now ... This Place is Build for Observation. It's mentioned here in maps too Museum. Not a Tourist spot or something people claim it's closed or full of mosquito's What were your Expectations? A family Outing ? Not being Rude but these places are built for people to know and understand these precious tree's. These are the tropical coastal vegetation. This help to stabilize coastline ecosystem and prevent erosion. I have seen almost many Negative comments on this place. These trees have been growing for more then 100+years. But last time I visited some love birds have carved their Names on these trees. Why ? Do this isn't the Beauty enough. Over All the Place is Good Clam and Relaxing. I frequently visit it when I pay a visit to my friend working in the Central Library. Enjoy The environment not the Vibe. And please Stop Carving your Names.... Beauty made for Beasts....

Mangroves bird nesting is a beautiful place. It has been maintained really well. Great efforts have been made by the government to bringup this place, promoting it and maintaining it. You will find the place crowded with college buds at all times of the day. This place is suitable for people of all ages. Place is really quit even though it is located in panjim near the central library. It has a very big parking area and resting place too. The place is famous for photography and to see all kind of birds specially in spring season. Overall a decent place to be at.

When you are at Patto place Panajim goa and like to walking πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ then only u can go here otherwise nothing much to see. Near by Gyaan Setu walking bridge night only its lightening good to see. Here at Mangroves Wooden board walk just to move in n relax sitting closing eyes hear birds 🐦 sounds with meditation other then u can't do anything. If u are at central library panajim Goa then just to move walking πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ u can go here for relief and relaxing mood.

Apart from losing a few planks in random sections, this is a very quaint spot to sit during the evening. You can pick up a book from the Central Library right next door and make an evening out of it. Do note that there is a very strong fishy smell with the water being so close.

Mangrove boardwalking was an unforgettable place! The lush, winding boardwalk immersed us in nature's beauty. Surrounded by vibrant mangroves, we felt truly connected to the environment. The serene atmosphere and diverse wildlife sightings were mesmerizing. But the informative signs are not maintained well. It's a must-do for nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility and exploration.

Beautiful initiative by the govt to raise the importance of mangroves and the feeling of being among nature and birds, but unfortunately as with other nice places you will always find idiots spoiling the purpose of the place. Visited at noon and found some kids celebrating a birthday with balloons and cake, there were some adult retards dancing with music playing on their phones! Also you will find names and hearts written by lame couples on the mangroves Such places shouldn't be free and also needs better security so nature isn't disturbed.

India’s second Mangrove Boardwalk opened in the heart of Panjim city (the first one is in the Andaman islands). Located right behind the Goa State Central Library (now also called Krishnadas Shama Library), this walk is an insight into the many types of mangrove species, the wildlife of the area and a call for a close interaction with nature.

Well placed in middle of the city and good initiative to facilitate the morning walk around the mangrove trees stretch through wooden boardwalk. Great experience to walk through this mangrove stretch but water looks like heavily polluted. Would be great if they maintain the river water well without pollution to enjoy the nature and experience.

Mangrooves Boardwalk in Panjim, Goa, is a hidden gem that offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. My recent visit left me absolutely mesmerized by the natural beauty and tranquility this place has to offer. The winding boardwalk takes you through lush mangrove forests, and the views are simply breathtaking. It's a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts or anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful environment. Whether you're a tourist or a local, Mangrooves Boardwalk is a must-visit in Goa. It's an ideal place to reconnect with nature, take a leisurely stroll, or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the tranquility. I can't recommend it enough, and I will definitely be returning for more visits in the future.

A calm and quiet walkway around Panaji's mangrove area adjacent to Patto Plaza. The easiest way to get here is from the left entrance of Goa Arts and Culture Building alias Goa State Library. It calm, cool and soothing here, the carvings on board are both unique and informative, wasn't crowded even on a Sunday, don't expect any fish or bird depicted on the carvings to be seen. Simply enjoy a quaint spot in the midst of city's hustle and bustle.

The beautiful Mangrove Boardwalk in Panjim is the first of its kind in Goa and the second in the country. The Andaman Islands are said to have been the first to create such a wonder. It is Awesome Tourist Place for rest and peace . Opened to public a while ago, one can go here anytime of the day to just walk around, look at the frogs, crabs, birds and other creatures that reside in these mangroves.
