A great place to stay hand in hand with nature..

the park is known for successful conservation of elephants which is the principal species here and also home for different wild animals and birds....

Basically a reserve for elephants. But officials need to improvise/maintain the reserve. Otherwise pure Nature at its best.

Nice place but still need development for visitors.

A reserve forest in the midst of a busy city, a wonder in itself! The forest was long been there, but was neglected and encroached by people around. Now Odisha forest department has taken over this place and maintained it very well. A boundary wall is been erected on all over the border to protect it from any encroachment. Small size animals like wild boar, deer, rabbits, fox, wild buffalo etc and many varieties of birds including Peacock. The main attraction here is Elephants!

Full of greenery, fresh air. Good place for couples to spending a quality time.

Chandaka forest reserve us itself a beauty in it . The nature and the nature everywhere . It also houses some of the famous places like Nandankanan and some memorial trusts . What I disliked is the township and construction sites that are gradually elevating day by day .
