Kushabhau Thakre Convention centre ( earlier known as Minto hall ) is situated in the centre of city , near Rajbhawan . The hall is historical building The foundation stone for Minto Hall was laid on 12th November 1909. The building was finally completed by Nawab Hamidullah Khan, son of Nawab Sultan Jahan Begum who initiated the work . The architect of this heritage building was AC Rovan. Today this popular heritage building stands beautiful wearing the royal look. The recent makeover of the old building made it more magnificent. Minto Hall being Bhopal's prime identity has now been renovated as an international convention center without disturbing its originality. The main hall is used as a multipurpose hall for occasions like conferences, banquets, felicitations, etc. The building also has 2 meeting rooms, two committee rooms, a boardroom, and a media center. Roof top restaurant. One can enjoy the vibrant beauty of the city from this rooftop restaurant. The panoramic view from here cannot be missed. An architectural masterpiece and Gem of Bhopal. It was earlier an old building called Minto Hall which got renovated and converted into a huge auditorium and roof top dining restaurant. The views from the rooftop is breathtaking and food is good too. Must visit place for fine dining in Bhopali style.

If you visit one restaurant on your next visit to Bhopal, let this be it. It's got one of the best views of the lake and city, the outside seating is perfect for a not so hot evening and the food is great too. Definitely planning to visit it again on my next trip to Bhopal

A great place to visit. Very beautiful scenery and we'll maintained. The food is good but the problem is that they have very less options in their menu especially if you are veg. But what they do provide is very good. The place usually very less crowded so social distancing can also be maintained while you enjoy with your guests/family/friends/anyone you have come with. They also allow you to order cake from outside. In all a very nice place to visit and if you do end up here, you won't really regret it.

I went there with my collage buddies. we invited there for a function of world Tourism day. That was my first time in Minto hall and it's actually great. Interior design and exterior design preety Amazing.

Good restaurants, food quality is very nice. BAR also there. But very limited table for dining. Roof top table with very nice view of small lake. Sufficient parking available. Staff is polite. Dinning hall is not very big but nicely arranged. Rates are almost same as in mid range resturants. Nice food, specially Tometo,onion Palak was great. Staff is always good.

Dope place with an amazing view(best in the evening) The quality of food is really good. For dining at the rooftop restaurant they take ₹200 per pax at the time of entry as cover charge which is adjusted in the bill later. It's a quite economical place.

They don’t even know how to communicate to people calling in for reservations. For so called fine dining experience. We were told they are not taking reservations and are only taking walk in and when we reached they refused to offer us a table and already had table reserved somehow. we were told to take seatings at the bar that are definitely not for dining. Nobody even apologised for the miscommunication on their end. And this is my second bad experience at this restaurant on their supposedly busiest days of the weekend. They were low on waiting stuff at their prime hour of dinner service 8-9 and took forever to bring our food. The stuff is not professional. For the 5 star restaurant charges, the service isn’t even close.

Good facilities with pure asthetic vibes, A huge hall with all the comforts, best for any event - business or personal, quality of food is also good. Great experience of projection, sitting arrangements, sound quality and much more, Staff behaviour is also nice. Must visit 👍🏻

I visited the place with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we found it worth dining there. The lake and city view from rooftop restaurant is one of the best you could experience . Ambience is fantastic. Food served was finger licking...Being nonveg eater, we ordered Shahi chicken biryani, roasted chicken with a beer and lime soda and everything was at its best. Billing was little higher comparing other star hotels but was affordable to me considering that grand occasion for me....Wife was happy , so was I.

Run by MPT (Madhya Pradesh Tourism). What we all like the most for years is food quality, its taste and delicacy. All the restaurants and hotels run by MPT serve great food

Experience the most serene available resturant in bhopal which has drilling food along with century old historical architecture. Minto hall (the international convention center) is an 1909 build by Bhopal Begum to host Lord Minto (the then Viceroy of India). Post Independence, this building served as Legislative assembly till late 19's. And Now it has been redesign to host meetings, gathering and roof top restaurant. One can enjoy the roof top view with drink and get a view of Chota talaab and Epicenter of MP politics. Coming back to food, one can find whole range of Veg and Non Veg delicacy of Bhopal (nabawi falvour) and nearby places. Tasted "Dal k kaweb" along with crispy corn in starter. Than mutton curry, cheese filled Panner with saufe k naan and Paratha (must try) and dal fry. And ended with light dessert. Waiter and Manager were truly helpful and my overall experience is nice. Although, no one picked call from the phone numbers given in Zomato. Cost wise too, it is not expensive. Where else can you get history & architecture & Lake view & good food in this cheap.

Royal and Peaceful A must go place in Bhopal if you want to enjoy a good royal dinner with a serne view They have both outdoor as well normal sitting, the open one is a much much better option.

The view is amazing. Food was bad to say the least. The drinks are good but how hard is it to make a mojito. Service was also very poor. Overall thumbs down.

All those old chicken and mutton dishes named in Nawabi style 🤤 Must go to this place for getting at least 2-3 hours of remarkable experience and have drinks 🥤🥂🍸. Oh yes, this is also a very good place for celebrating with your family 😊😊. The place operates with pre-booking system by the visitors. Food is overpriced though! Great, classy ambience.. too much slow service, they took an hour to bring our food, their chiken labandar is delicious, breads are too costly.

Historically beautiful. The gardens and the history of the place is magnificent. Majestic halls and grounds. The food is delicious but if you want spicy food I would recommend that you mention the same at the time of order. They have few choices when it comes to hard liquor. Nice and beautiful place overlooking the city and lake.

Amazing place run by MP Tourism Department. Good food, above average service and excellent view. One of the most exotic locations of Bhopal where you can have a glimpse of almost half of the city !! The place used to be the Legislative Assembly in it's prime but even now it's well maintained and boasts lush green surroundings.
