Not sophisticated but does the service. No proper mechanism as we find in big metro city hospitals but health related issues are being taken care well. Worst part is no appointment system, you bring the old patient and make them wait in open area as long as dr take time to come as usual late timing to see. Paying like private hospital but waiting as like govt hospital. Good park area for visitors and waiting. Temple for prayer and good parking space & facility

Called up previous day and got the appointment for 11 am. Reached the hospital. Seems to be neat n clean, good infra. OPD Patients waiting is at Garden shed which was cool since it rained the previous day but not good for summer days. The receptionist nurse said to wait as it might take 30-45 mins as the required Dr was doing rounds. Waited till 1 pm. The patient ie my mother needed crtitical kidney related checkup but the Nephrologist was not available. Mother got really tired and asked to leave. Weird to see a hospital failing to commitment to an appointment! There were other senior citizens waiting. Medical care should not be delayed for senior citizens. Will never visit it again.

I was rushed to the hospital in distress. The hospital attended to me very professionally and restored my health. The east coast hospital treating Doctors and the admission office staff were very helpful and cooperative. Such staff members and qualified doctors are assets to this hospital. My sister recently broke her arm and I'm so scared, & we immediately had to get it treated. So we head to East Coast Hospital in Pondicherry & We were very impressed with the care she received. I had to go to East Coast Hospital for a back surgery I was pretty scared off. When I got admitted, I was welcomed by the whole team present with warmth and loving care. Even though I was in a room with a number, I was not treated as just one more number, but as a human being. Very appreciated! Everybody was listening to my needs, and I was again and again encouraged to call for help or to reach out, if I would need anything. All my questions were answered in detail and with patience, no matter whom I would approach. From doctors to nurses to all other staff, I felt taken care of and treated with love. The medical treatment itself was super efficient, and I am in deep gratitude to everybody who contributed to it with their knowledge, experience, skill and personality. It is my belief, that for a fast and healthy recovery it is needed that the "environmental" circumstances are right. And there I was missing two things: protection from sound and light. I don’t know if all rooms have the upper part of their door in "milky" glass only, but at least in my case this glass let artificial light entering my room 24 hours a day. On top, the location of my room was close to a busy place where many people used to pass by. Their sounds/noise were quite disturbing day and even night. But the main impression that I took home from my stay was the human, welcoming, caring and supporting atmosphere I had the pleasure to experience during my stay. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I would like to thank Dr.indu, the gynecologist and the staff nurse Mrs.jennifer for best pregnancy treatment. They maximum tried for normal delivery and they are very polite and good service mind. We strongly recommend Dr.indu for normal delivery.

Our experience at the hospital was good. The doctors that attended to my father were quite knowledgeable. They shared the information to us very well. All the nursing staff were polite and considerate. The cleaning and attender staff were very helpful and responsive too.

Sorry to share my personal experience with this hospital. We got tetra-3 ward with AC, bed cannot be adjusted, no pillow for patient we bought pillow from outside, no cabinet to keep things we have keep on floor, at night need to catch misquotes and flys. Insurance Claim intimation will take 24+ working hours, we have followup for many times. But good treatment and good nursing care, good food. I thank for that. Remaining are painful. Instead of replying email and review. Please spend your valuable time in ensuring the facilities you promise to provide for patient. We pay for everything. Thank you all.

Good Infrastructure and hygienic environment are the two main thing I liked about the hospital. Staffs are patient friendly and the doctors are really good in explaining the problems and they have plenty of knowledge in their speciality. Doctors are good but the fees is way too much higher..for example for dressing an infected wound they charge 200 in OPD and when u get admitted and for the same dressing they charge 1000 rupees....my best advise please don't get admitted even if they say so....Worst if you don't have any insurance... In response to your answer given below.. i don't just blindly write a review.. I know what type of dressings were made and before making this statement i approached you and asked you and your management clearly gave an answer that is how it is here... Please make a note of middle class families who come to your hospital for their health and it is my opinion

Recently while consulting Dr.NR.Indu here, myomectomy was advised. Based on positive and confidence given by Dr, went ahead with the surgery. It went well. On road to recovery. Felt comfortable throughout the consultation, through surgery and after. Post surgery Dr was very kind and supportive. She was god sent. Thank you. Nurses and staff were good. Clean rooms. Comfort diet by dietecians.

10days ago took my wife there with slightly injured foot. Duty doctor attended, xray was taken, no fracture. Medicine was given for 5 days for pain and swell control. We explained to Doc, after injury it was ok, but swelled after 24 hrs only, may be due to normal walking inside house, for this his comment...*veeta iduchudunga(demolish your house)* was very unprofessional, serious faced doc. After 5 days issue still persisted, visited Ortho Doc in OP. He checked and gave medicines for a week. One of the tablet had shortage, pharmacy issued 2 for 14, asked comeback later. Next day went to get Tab..but they start search in same place, said not arrive yet, called other branch and said not available. Refused my request to call same Ortho doc and ask for alternative medicine. No supply, diff staff was on duty and such were various excuses given. They told us to come back during OP hour and see doc. Simple issue with supply /availablity and next level help, all were very poor. Struggled to get that Tab from other location. Then continued medication, yet no improvement in health. Total of 10days were gone with pain and swell. I stoped going back to East Coast Hospital. Now seeing Doc in Posh hospital, today 1st Day. Conclusion: Duty doc needs to learn to speak well with patient and attender. Management and Pharmacy must establish better protocol. They say they are there to provide service. But what we get is excuses and insisting to listen to them. Disappointed with all who spoke with us. All were in defensive mode only and not polite, very BAD. This is for you to improve, not seeking your explanation. Dont post your default replies. Accept, Learn, Improve and survive or shine. However we are Not going again.

Am glad to make everyone aware about stem cell treatment done to my brother for liver cirrhosis. Am happy that it's the only hospital in pondicherry for such treatment. We were about to go for liver transplantation but stem cell therapy was much feasible and has good outcomes . I would like to suggest patients with liver problems to approach this hospital. Thank you
