I have attended many toastmasters club meetings. But the people in Madras toastmasters club are very friendly. Madras toastmasters club is very unique and I am happy to say that this is my home club. Being a member of the club for the past 10months, I can see a lot of changes in my communication skill. I can even say that this club helped me to evolve into a best communicator. yes indeed I evolved with my own style of communication. If one want to improve communication and leadership skills, Madras toastmasters club is the best option among all.

It has been an enjoyable experience all through. The club has received several awards and accolades that indicate the quality of the meetings. Madras Toastmasters club, AKA MTC, is a well-organized club and care is taken so that each and every person gets a fair opportunity to grow as a speaker. The mentors allocated are proper veterans who take their jobs seriously and give valuable feedback to improve our public speaking skills and stage presence. It is not a surprise that the club receives numerous awards and recognitions consistently every year as the club maintains high standards and strives to grow. I had a wonderful experience being part of the club from Feb to June 2018.

A perfect forum to take our communication skills to a great level. MTC with its diversified members across all walks of life and with varied industrial backgrounds has provided plenty of opportunities to me to streamline my thoughts (before speaking), mentored and groomed me to take my public speaking skills to a great level. I have been a member of this club from 2015 and I strongly recommend this club to anyone to improve their public speaking skills to a greater level.

There are so many places to improve your communication skills, they can teach the English grammar, writing, vocabulary, accents and all those stuffs, but the only club that breaks your shyness in front of public audience is the Madras Toastmasters Club is the best platform to prove yourself as a public speaker. The way the club treating people is awesome. It is like family, they are giving chances for each and every person in the club for the continuous improvement. The most powerful thing is the encouragement from the seasoned Toastmasters (seniors) they are correcting the mistakes done by the speaker in a friendly manner as well as the protocols of each stage. Especially i am a good speaker in Tamil in front of audience not with the mike but when it comes to English maximum times i am the listener, but now after joining Toastmasters club i can see the improvement in myself am slowly improving, right or wrong now i am speaking in front of audience. It's been 4 years of association, growth and learning with Madras Toastmasters Club (MTC). This platform has helped me tone my speaking skills and leadership abilities to a great extent. Public speaking can not be taught as a course, and this place is all about how you learn to be a better communicator through a continuous process. For the confidence and knowledge I've acquired from MTC is beyond words to explain, I'd rather urge you to experience.

This club provides ample opportunities to its members for developing public speaking and effective leadership skills through regular quality meetings on every Sunday. This club bagged various quality awards including Golden Gavel, Dr. Smedly and Talk-up toasters from it's parent organization of Toastmasters International USA. I had the opportunity to be a part of the Madras Toastmasters Club meeting on Sunday, 19th July 2020. It is an absolutely humbling experience to meet people from all walks of life coming together, bringing their own share of stardust, sharing perspectives, learning and teaching credible lessons to each other, building progressive affiliations with a lot more to take away... I like how well organized all the sessions are. The core team is efficient, members are cordial. I would highly recommend the Club for those who are interested in improving their communication and leadership skills.

The feedback & evaluation of every speech by various members of the club makes us aware of our shortcomings so that we can constantly improve our public speaking , communication & leadership skills.
