The place is easy to locate . Prices can be manipulated highly. As what they quote and what they have in stickers are way apart. Went with my mom for a good shawl. Ok no doubt they have good variety of products but the approach of selling wasn't appealing, it was like he is just showing with no interest. If we asked him questions then he was getting annoyed. I lately asked him about any defects if arose later he said check now only if later u misshandle and bring it we won't be liable. So overall not so peaceful experience. I brought one shawl as colour was nice. And bargaining he didn't entertained as they said but this I highly doubt.

Whenever I need a shawl, Pumposh is my go to. They have an extensive collection of shawls. Every shawl that I own has almost always been from Pumposh. The staff is very friendly and always takes a lot of time and care to show the collection to you. Definitely recommend Pumposh for anyone who's on the lookout for authentic Kashmiri shawls

I was looking for some exclusive shawl and found this shop in New Market. I bought a Semi Pashmina Kaani design shawl for my wedding. It's very gorgeous and great quality. The price is also very reasonable. The shop had a great collection of exquisite Kashmiri shawls at reasonable prices. Had a wonderful experience shopping at Pamposh.

I webbed too much to find a reputed and original kashmiri shawl shop then I found this one. Like every web blog it was also described as the best one but when we actually visit the place we always disappointed. It was the first time when I get too much satisfied with the collection, ambience, decoration and the behaviour of the shop owner and all staffs especially Keshar Ji. Thank you for your patience and right choice you make.

I visited pumposh on 11/09/2021 to look for the products, and to have a conversation with the staffs, I was astonished to see the wide ranging products and the how cordial the staffs were, they were very clear about the quality of the products and prices. They gave me time to choose and had patience with every demand and question I placed before them. They never tried to hard sell me their product. I ended up buying 2 shawls. I have shopped at other kashmiri shawl stores, what I appreciate is their transparency and outspoken behaviour. I would again visit. Thank you Quyoom sir for your time and patience.

Nice one.. But everything is not pure Kashmiri people should need to chek the item or ask with them they are good person they will confirm you that's product are pure kashmiri or not.. If people want to go here they need to go first Newmarket then after need to ask about pumposh or ask about karco resturant pumposh is just opposite side of karco resturant or people can also book uber ola or any kind of cabs to go here easily

I recently visited Pumposh in the New Market new complex to make some real pashmina shawl and stole purchases, and was very impressed with the store ambience, the variety of their collection, and most importantly, the interaction I had with Sarfraz. Sarfraz was very warm, genuine, and sincerely interested in explaining the technical details of real pashmina (and what fake ones look/feel like), and the story of the handicraft makers behind each piece they had. I went there for 2 pieces, and ended up buying 4 pashmina and 4 fine wool items over a couple of visits. Each visit was characterized by about an hour's worth of interesting conversation with Sarfraz over a cup of coffee. I would definitely return to the Pumposh for my pashmina and fine merino needs in the future.

Pumposh(Kashmiri Shawl Emporium) A very nice store in Kolkata for buying Kashmiri Shawl,Salwar Suits(2 piece and 3 piece both),Stoles,Jackets,Trunks and other wooden pieces.They also have carpets for sale too. The staffs were very friendly and gave us time to choose what is the best we want for us by showing many collections. They have a great collection in store with authentic Kashmiri weaving. The prices are very much reasonable too and choosing in between such a huge range is very hard but it was quite an experience.

Great experience!! Initially from entering the store I was greeted , then when I started enquiring about Kani shawl they showed me a lot of variety. i wanted an unique color with Mughal Design , and Sarfaraz bhai assisted me on this and provided a great shawl!! Then we bought even carpets few more shawls and stole. Then finally I bought a pure pashmina Muffler for my dad and he loves it!! The behaviour of Sarfaraz bhai and his elder brother is immense..! For them customer satisfaction is of top priority. I had a lot of questions too which they adressed me equally. I would recommend everyone to visit the store atleast once and like Sarfaraz bhai said - If you visit a kashmiri store please make sure to u vest some time , because even I guarantee it would be worth it!!

Place was just average. I felt they were costly. They didn't have much options though in cardigans. Also the service was not great like they were reluctant to show which made me a little agitated to buy.

Stepped into the store with no particular impression and stepped out with exquisite shawls at very reasonable prices and memorable experiences. Attended by extremely hospitable people, we were given the knowledge and understanding of what authentic cashmeres are. If you're looking for something genuine and real, this is the place you should be visiting.

Mr. Kaiser attended us and he was an extremely kind and patient gentleman. He probably showed us 100+ varieties with a lot of patience and was a very wonderful gentleman. I went to buy 2 shawls and ended up purchasing 12! I am super happy with my purchase and would definitely come back again. The Shop is spacious, they have a large variety and price offerings and a very capable staff.
