Best place to learn different skills and technologies for self employment Rural Technology Park organizes Rural Mela every year. It has rich scenic beauty and environment. Skills like Soap making, Honey harvesting, brick making, greeting card making, paper making, washing powder making, aromatic products making and other self employment skills are taught with a little fee. You can purchase pure and natural honey of various flavours.

Very Nice place with scenic beauties and high altitude region. this place is actually owned by NIRD I guess which organises yearly fairs and mela's portraying rural development activities and showcasing of different crafts being prepared from different vivid places of India. Good place actually to buy some goods which comes from core of the country specially prepared by rural India and mostly are hand made ones.

Rural Technology Park (RTP) of NIRDPR is located in the green and scenic Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. RTP has several objectives... Demonstration of income generating activities through live manufacturing Units like Neem oil and neem cake, pure honey processing of several varieties... Pearl and tribal jewellery making, leaf plate making, eco friendly cloth bags, mushroom cultivation and products, Soya products and many more. Products manufactured in these units can be purchased at the units directly. One very successful technology is vermi composting unit which shows live earthworm beds and sells genuine original vermi compost. At present 1 kg vermi compost is rs 10 per kg. Other interesting live technology units are hand made paper making, natural dyes, bio composting, etc One major attraction is Rural Building Center which demonstrates in-use Office spaces in each building and low cost building technologies from various parts of India.... Beautiful place to see various rural type houses suitable for green farm house and for photography... Viewpoint is a beautiful hill top to see green surrounding from hill top specially the sun set between 5 pm to 6.30 pm depending on the weather season. Annually one all India exhibition called Rural Crafts and Technology Mela is held during last week of November and 1st week of December for 5 days. About 200-250 stalls selling original handloom, handicrafts, food items, rural Technology from all over India are set up. In the evening 6 pm to 9 pm+ live cultural programs are conducted in the open amphitheater with beautiful waterfall in the background. RTP is open 9 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday and public holidays is closed. Entry is free.
