Awesome Place. Biggest Peak of Odisha. You have to trek 500 meters to see the top view. Now there is entry fees. 20 rupees for bike. There is no water facility so you have to take water before going to Deomali.

Scenic. Serene. Sublime. If you can't trek to the hill top, then also don't worry. You can get some really good views from the view points. Also the road to here feels like the road to heaven (Not in a bad meaning ๐Ÿ˜…). You don't need a good camera or to be a great photographer to get some good pics, the place has it's own filter to beautify your pic.๐Ÿ˜€

It's not a fault if I call it the heaven of Odisha .You'll fall in love with the first view of this hilltop . Connecting roads are in very good condition. Before entry you have to collect the vehicle pass or tickets at the entrance point. U can also do camping and all drinking water is available on the top . And you also have sufficient places for camping.

Deomali, is a mountain peak, It is located near Koraput town in the Koraput district of Odisha. The place is very beautiful I think it is the best place in Odisha from where to enjoy all the natural beauty. But one thing that I think is that there is a strong wind, so please bring some scarf to wrap your head. And take special care of the children. There are many places for car parking where you can park your car very well and also brunt Cron and tea are available here as snacks items. All in all, I like the place. If you want to enjoy this place more, don't forget to climb the watch tower and I have given some pictures and videos for your convenience.

*Deomali Peak* with an elevation of about 1,672 m, is the highest peak in the state of Odisha. It is situated near Doodhari village, Pottangi Panchayat division which is about 70 km from Koraput via Semiliguda. It is surrounded by deep green forest, the peak is rich in flora and fauna. Mineral resources like bauxite, limestone, and gemstones are abundant in this range of hills. Deomali is home to tribes including the Kandhas, Parajas, Bhumia, Malis, and Bhotias and is sprinkled with brooks and steep valleys. In addition to being a wonder for tourists, it is also amazing for those who enjoy extreme sports like hang gliding, mountaineering, and trekking.

-Visitors can enjoy trekking, hiking in this serene environment.๐Ÿช‚ -The trek to the top of Deomali hill is not an easy one, but it's definitely worth the effort. The views from the top are stunning, with the entire valley stretching out before you. Visitors can also witness the sunrise and sunset from the peak, which is a mesmerizing experience๐Ÿ™‡ -In conclusion, the Deomali hill is a must-visit destination for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts, and anyone looking to experience the unique culture and traditions of the indigenous tribes of Odisha. The place is like heaven. I have gone to this place on the monsoon. I have gone on the end time of June. The cloud are covering the whole valley & the hills. This valley is lke more plain. If a person try to trekking, then that's very easy for trekking. I recommend that please wear a jacket & hoodie, also take tea or snacks to prevent cold. You'll see a heavenly views of nature from the top of the hill.

"Heaven of Odisha" if I say this then also it will be less. The place is one of the splendid spots in India . The road leading to this place , the hair pin bends , the ever changing skies in the evening , the clouds , the hill range everything is awesome here . Visited this place in December and it was a great experience . The best thing is that this place is OPEN 24 hours .So you can enjoy as per your wish and risk taking abilities . Recently few scenic view points are done where you can find a tea and coffee shop . Let me tell you having a cup of tea at deomali peak in the evening is just amazing with the setting sun and the nature's colourful ecstacy . This is the highest peak of odisha . The best time is to reach there by 3.30 / 4.00 PM and stay till the sunsets . You can also climb to the top by foot as vehicles cannot go there and feel like reaching Everest of Odisha ... Must must visit if you like hill stations and nature and visiting Odisha or staying in Odisha . ,๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

The Highest mountain peak of Odisha, this is god's own paradise. Camera lens won't describe the beauty of this place. The hill top is really flat for some kilometres length. For the beat view You go there in the morning and evening, so that the sunrise and sunset can be witnessed in the marvelous place. The valleys in the mountains are pleased to watch. You can stay in the night with tents to see the beautiful sky and Milky way. Sadly so called educated people are making this place dirty with picnics. My humble request to keep this place plastic free, alcohol free and dirt free.

Itโ€™s in Odisha and must be retained in Odisha as heard from locals that AP is slowly capturing the location !! Here the nature is awesome all season!! But illiterate tourists litter things and make the spot ugly. Govt should take proper care and start charging for littering.

Welcome note begins with clouds passages as we reach the upper terrain of Deomali hill. Hardly any trees along the ridge of this mountain, 20-30min easy trek uphill to reach the peak from a point where vehicles meet the cement road end. When travelling from Vizag to Deomali, do not go with google maps shortest route, the ghat road can be daunting and risky for inexperienced, instead continue on highway that bypass Salur completely,. At Kunduli take diversion to right for Deomali. โ‚น300/- per Car irrespective of number of people within car No regular facilities like hotels, restaurants, toilets,. A small shop that sell snacks, noddles, water closes after 5 or 6pm Night stay permitted but with your own arrangements. Would recommend a visit for this serene experience. Mobile network available at summit and near, not along the lower trek/hiking path, Airtel good, Jio bad for this space. Crowded on weekends Please restrict plastic usage and do not dispose off on hill. For authorities, if they care : In Andaman, for certain islands who ever carry plastic they have to deposit advance amount as a guarantee of return and claim refunded with proof of return. Such methods may improve conditions here.

Deomali, is a mountain peak in the Chandragiri-Pottangi subrange of theย Eastern Ghats. It is located nearย Koraputย town in theย Koraput districtย ofย Odisha,ย India. Highest point in Odisha Deomali Peak, with an elevation of about 1,672 m, is the highest peak in the state of Odisha. It is situated near Doodhari village, Pottangi Panchayat division which is about 70 km from Koraput via Semiliguda. It is surrounded by deep green forest, the peak is rich in flora and fauna. This hill range is rich in mineral resources such as bauxite, limestone and gemstones. Deomali is dotted with brooks and deep valleys, and inhabited by tribes such Kandhas, Parajas, Bhumia, Malis and Bhotias. It is not only a marvel for the tourists but also to the adventurous sports lovers for hang gliding, mountaineering and trekking. On this recent days Odisha tourism Department, is taking many development steps to popularize this peak amongst the travellers as a hot tourist spot by connecting the Tar roads, Hill top amenities centre, drinking water points on the hill top, watching towers for perfect view of the arena. Many waterfalls also found while heading for the top of hill.

Deomali being the highest peak of Odisha, is not given prior importance. 1. Government should make it a tourism spot and should make some strict rules to keep our environment clean and nature-friendly. 2. Tourists do visit here thinking it to be the awesome place, but driving in this road is very tiring. Road to Kotiya is so good, but Deomali road is not maintained properly. 3. Once you reach the top, you will find waste everywhere. No one uses dustbin here. For entering the top, village people collect 50rs saying that they collect the waste materials from in and around. But there is no cleanliness seen anywhere. 4. View from the top early morning and evening sunset is awesome. 5. People should be more responsible these days, should protect our nature, but they are becoming dumb day by day by throwing the waste here and there.
