Ancient temple. Peaceful atmosphere. Best time for visit is at evening. Medium crowded. Great for photography. More than 60 steps into pond. Well maintained. Clear water. Must visit place in Kannur.

Peaceful place. The temple pond has countless steps laid in unique and intricate geometrical proportions. This style of architecture is rarely followed in the construction of ponds anywhere in Kerala. The closest resemblance it bears is to the stepwells of North India known as Baoris. Many such wells can still be spotted in Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

A wonderful structure. The construction of this pond is breathtaking. The water is clean and clear. The pond is next to the temple. If you are at Kannur, do visit this pond. The pond is well maintained by the management. The place is reachable via road.

Very beautiful pond. Picturesque. But it's better to visit the pond during early mornings. It's easily accessible by everyone. There are restaurants also nearby. It's quite steep, so take care while going with kids.

The pond is very beautiful. The steps are very decorative. We should admire on the workmanship of this big pond. This is a temple of Lord Murugan. Generally we can see lot of Murugan temples in Tamilnadu. But in Kerala the murugan temples are very small in number.

One of the Old temples in Kerala. Subramanian temple in Kannur district of Kerala... Sreerama Deva did prathishta here is the belief... Temple pond is unbelievable architecture... People who don't have kids come to pray here. Naga Raja is here... Every prayers to Almighty is fulfilled... We feel happy at this abode of Lord Subrahmanya πŸ™
