What a traditional feeling being here gave me goose bumps the bhajans ethnic adobe 🙏🏼 considered the north Thrissur of Kerala, Lord Krishna’s Darshana. Small stream of water flowing just before you enter the temple gets you back to the books we read in childhood.. Picture perfect temple visit 🙏🏼 Hare Krishna

There is no requirement for a review. When you come to this location, you were able to get a sense of what it is. The atmosphere here is quite meditative and peaceful. Lord Krishna worshippers have made this location famous throughout the ages. If you want to get close to the primary idol, which is Krishna, you have to wear a dhoti or a saree. The dress code is really strict. The most important deity of the temple is Krishna seated in the Raudra mudra following the "Kamsavadham" ceremony (ferocious posture). Due to the fact that it is situated to the north of Guruvayoor Temple, this temple is also known as North Guruvayoor. This temple is located close to three different ponds. We were able to spot the Jala Durga temple not far from this one. The river completely encircles the temple of Durge.

One of the most famous temples in Kerala. The model of the temple is at Tripunitura Hill Palace, which was head quarters of Cochin Dynasty. The 15 day long Trichambaram Festival is attended by thousands of people. Pookkoth Nada in the highway is where the festival take place. Koodipiriyal is the most attractive part of the festival. Daily Annadanam is there at the temple.

Beautiful temple in a small town. Natural ponds near the temple makes it serene. Need to walk few steps down to reach temple. During festival time, women are not allowed inside.

So calm and serene devotional atmosphere away from the town pollution and noise. The festival here is very auspicious which starts from the 6th of March every year and ends on the 14th day.
