I am a visitor to Chandigarh visiting family. During my stay i was hoping to squeeze in a couple of rounds of golf. Visited Chandigarh Golf Club and was surprised to experience the unfriendly reception i received there for a public golf course. Later was able to talk to an instructor and was much better informed. Would you believe it, you can pay the green fee, rent golf set, get a caddy but for some inexplicable reasons you have to be with a member to rent golf cart. To understand better, spoke with a caddy who advised, if you want to have a good game without experiencing backup go to forest Hill Golf resort. So went there directly and believe me, the experience was night and day. Was greeted by the course director who is a pro golfer, was so welcoming and explained the course and the facilities. This course is on the foothills, with changes in elevation for each hole. The course and club house is so scenic it can potentially become one of the most beautiful courses of India. I am looking forward to that day and wish them every success. Chandigarh Golf Club has competition and it should not behave so elite for a public golf course. On a side note, the golf course appeared to me maintained very well and was delighted to see so many people taking up after this great sport of golf.

It is a very beautiful club which requires a membership. The restaurant there is just awesome. It serves boht veg and non veg dishes and prices are surprisingly reasonble. The dishes are also very tasty and the staff is very polite and courteous. A bar and a disco is also there. On weekends evening parties are held where live performances, orchestra are present. You should definitely visit this place.

Nice and peaceful place. I liked it a lot. Had a good time here. Restaurant's food taste was also good and good services.

Arguably the most sought after membership in Chandigarh. The Club, recently opened for members without any Covid restrictions, is clearly popular for its classy ambience and great food. You would of course need membership, or be invited here by a member.

Horrible experience. Our order was delayed by almost 45 minutes and the waiter misbehaved. We all ate food in the dark , they switched off the lights while we were eating food, and we were harassed by the unprofessional behaviour of the staff especially Jyoty. He was drunk and smelled of cigarette for the whole time and was continuously laughing and arguing with women as well. He also misbehaved with a senior citizen. No action was taken upon complaint as well. Poor service, and poor management.

One of the best club in chandigarh. It has all golf range nearby. You will get good food and drinks there. All the facilities of club for it's members only. It is very difficult to get it's membership.

Rich people Area. Only club member allowed. Costly fee per day 3000rs. Everyone not See this Ground Area. I visit this Area in Rain season and road destroy by heavy Rainfall.

Always awesome Lovely Fairways, interesting Greens It's always a pleasure to play here. Today was a great day for golf, n we thoroughly enjoyed it.

First time played here, and I loved the course. Caddie Sonu was amazing, and he did a great job guiding me through out the game. Course is challenging and no room for bad shots. Greens under recovery though. Can’t wait to play here again.

This has got to be my favorite golf experience in and near to Chandigarh. Its a great resort for an outing being near to forest will give you a fresh feeling. The resort is very well maintained having good nice rooms with lawns outside to provide you a feeling close to nature. It also has a golf course. I enjoyed my stay.I keep on going back to Forest Hill Golf Course as it is very well laid out in a serene setting.

Is a full size 18 hole golf course.Good place to golf or have a leisure visit on weekends. Situated right next to the Punjab governor's home and Guru Nanak Dev auditorium. It's only for members and their guests. Has lighting and lit holes across several acres. Separate area for learners. One of its kind in North India. Has outdoor seating and an indoor dining room for food and beverages. Full size bar. Restrooms, bathrooms. Shower rooms are clean and large. Currently the ground level dining area and bar is undergoing renovations. The Family dining area upstairs and the outside area patio and the lawn, is however open to sit. Buffet usually has a variety of Indian and Chinese choices.

A very chic place with great golf course and club consisting of restaurants, bars, gym and swimming pool.However besides Tambola there is no other regular activity. On days it is overcrowding and service in restaurants is slow.

Like other good golf courses in India . Had a great time .

Chandigarh Golf Club is a great place to play good golf. The course is well laid out, immaculate maintained, adequately staffed and very well subscribed. The Golf club also provides an excellent ambience for good food and drinks. The staff here too is dedicated and responsive. The menu is dynamic with sumptuous food in the offing. The other facilities available can be a tad better specially for the lady golfers and their washrooms. However that notwithstanding the club is an outstanding experience.

Very nice place to spend the time with family and friends. Good food with a lovely view of golf range.

It is such an amazing golf course. The layout is challenging but a pleasure to play. The course is long and you need more than 5 hours to finish the 18 holes if you are walking. And the 19th hole is a great place to relax after a round. It is an old-worldly experience. The food is excellent and the beers are cold. The changing rooms are very well maintained as well. Overall it is a pleasure to be there.

This was my first visit to CGC and absolutely fell in love with the whole ambience of the club and the generosity of the people of Chandigarh.

It's really nice place for golf, golf range,bar swimming pool,gym, restaurent and many more activities
