Chef Soumyens kitchen has been reinvented in these tough times to cater to the domestic tastes. In a time when Covid has equalized everyone rich or poor...Chef Soumyen has done the same. He has a menu at prices that anyone can afford. As he says "I want everyone to be able to enjoy some good food". From Chicken biryani to Chicken Korma made with real cashew paste and really fingerlicking good Chicken Wings. All at extremely affordable prices...biryani @ Rs90/. Couldn't believe it. But its true and awesome. No short cuts in quality or quantity.

Taste was fabulous. Loved the food though limited or almost no option for Indian food. Chef himself made the presence and cared about the customers personally. Would love to visit again. My LO loved the Tomato soup and the Spaghetti

I was invited to this quiet place in between candolim and calanguet . The service staff was extremely friendly and professional. Every part of the service was great. And the food and the choices just great. I had ordered the beef steak with Diane sauce loved it absolutely delicious. This is a must visit place if you are in Goa.

From the moment you arrive you are taken such good care of. The waiting staff are so friendly and also knowledgeable about the menu. Chef Souymen always comes to say hello and spends time with you. As always the food is amazing!! Have been coming here for over ten years and always a highlight of my trip to Goa.

The first look of the restaurant would confuse many travellers, as it looks like a house but don't underestimate their food, they are serious foodie. Service was great, they took care of their guests' whims. The food was very good, I loved their menu. They do recommend some of the great stuff from their menu.

Undoubtedly the best dining experience I have ever had in my recent memory! Since the restaurant was quite close to our hotel in calangute, and by the luminous reviews it had online, this was always going to be one of my foremost choices for culinary pilgrimage. The food is scrumptious, exalting the dining experience to the point of perfection; and I do not say this often. The brilliance lies in the simple fact that even the most visibly predominant dishes available almost everywhere was curated in such delicious manner that it brings a spontaneous happiness deep within. Not to forget, the humility, kindness and passion being brought about by Chef Soumyen through his culinary marvel is something I applaud deeply. All the staff serving us were very polite, attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable. This purely shows the holistic environment created by the chef that spawns such a wholesome dining experience for all the guests. Kudos to everyone!! I cannot emphasise enough but please do visit this restaurant if you are in North Goa; you wouldn’t just be mesmerised by the food alone but be inherently impressed by the personal attention showered upon you!

The food here is delicious there are a wide variety of food you can choose from. We were a group of 8 we had tried few exciting dishes. The wait time for the food is less and they even suggest the side dish which goes well with the dish. On request they even made some items which were not present in the menu. Very satisfied with the food quality and food presentation. The only issue we faced was during the bill payment. This restaurant is listed on Dine in (Swiggy) on the app they offer straight 10% discount on the bill but the staff was not accepting this mode of payment. This was a bit off reason being its being listed on dine in which means the mode of payment should be accepted. The waiter was giving a lame reason saying that the table should be booked on Google if we wish to avail this offer but thats kind of weird because booking a table or not it doesn't matter. Please make sure that this kind of issues are taken care of and customer requests are considered

Stayed in Goa for 3 weeks and discovered this gem of a place on our last night. Nestled in a quaint street just off the hustle and bustle of the Calangute-Candolim stretch the restaurant provides a very personalised experience. As you reach the place you are greeted by the smiling staff and Chef Soumyen himself. Before I get into the details of the food, let me give you a heads up that the conversation with the chef and his son are enjoyable, engaging and ensures that your dining experience is unparalleled to most of the other commercial restaurants around. We started our dinner with Rum & Orange Prawns, followed by the Chicken liver Paté. For the main course we had the Spaghetti Bolognese & the Steak with mushroom sauce done medium rare ( calling out the medium rare - it was just perfect). The prawns were just the right amount of tenderness and seasoned really well. The Paté was paired with crisp crouton and delicious. The Spaghetti was just as I had imagined!! And the Steak just WOW! The steakhouses in Bangalore need to send in their chefs just to get trained on how to make a perfect Medium Rare from Chef Soumyen. The icing on top was the chocolate mousse offered by the Chef to ensure we leave the place after having something sweet! Soft creamy and non gelatinous mousse! Writing in this long review to not just describe the food but my overall experience and with the hope that more people discover this place not on their last day in Goa but the first day!

Undoubtedly one of the best restaurant's in Goa. I called the restaurant to book a table for dinner and asked whether they could arrange a cake to surprise my wife for her birthday and they said they will try. Within half an hour when we went there, they arranged the table with balloons and the chef & all staffs came to wish her. We tried a sea food platter and some cocktails/mocktails. I must say the food was just awesome. The ambience and the hospitality of everyone was all superb. And the highlight was that the chef even made a small cake for her. Full marks to Chef Soumyen and his son Aditya. We just enjoyed the night there. Highly recommended for food lovers.

Excellent experience overall. The entire team is super warm and welcoming. Everyone has a big smile on their faces. The food is very good indeed. We tried the crumbed mushrooms, rum & lemon prawns, penne cheese sauce, and fish fingers - all were very good! Definitely recommended for a wonderful meal in a relaxed, lovely restaurant!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Goa. The service is unmatched. The chef truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Goa. Highly recommend!

Seafood was good. The chef was courteous and quite helpful. Location easy. We had a good time at the restaurant. Vegetarian food needs a bit of improvement( did not try the North Indian )

The Sea Bass fish fillet was well presented and delicious. The prawn cocktail and the grilled chicken were also tasty. But the dessert - Butterscotch Creme Brulee was the best , absolutely out of this world. The chef himself has a word with the guests while they are dining and the restaurant as well as the washroom is spotlessly clean . This is not a place to go for people who are searching for cheap , inexpensive food...... the fine dining charges are on the higher side but worth it.

Food was excellent with bottle of wine… The ambience was all set for the evening with people concentrating on chefs delicacies .. it’s open ambience atmosphere.. Had a good family time with Pork / Chicken / Salmon / Prawns / Pasta dishes.

A legendary family restaurant, our favourite in Calangute. Superb service, they go the extra mile over most other restaurants to ensure you enjoy your visit to the maximum. Loved the blue cheese soufflé starter, then the most tender Steak in Goa, (ordered Rare and it was perfect temperature) a nice mix of vegetables and the side of sauted spinach was also delicious. Sea bass another best we have eaten in Goa. A Nice and meaty portion. A little bit more expensive than most but quality ingredients plus the level of service more than compensate. Highly recommended. Chef Soumyens spent time with us and visited every table dining which is appreciated.

One of the best culinary experiences I had in my 3 weeks here. Truly spectacular presentation of the dishes-- and the amount provided is just perfect according to the price. Flavor is unbeatable and worth savoring every bite. The butterscotch brulee is an all time top 5 desert for me - very unique savory and creamy flavor, accompanied with a caramelized crunch and a slightly bittersweet sauce drizzle. Fantastic presentation of all the dishes. This could seriously be a Michelin star restaurant?

very friendly atmosphere and good food so close to our place at villa. Chef as well as his son Aditya were very keen on giving personal attention on everything and good at suggestions. something which you need very often. We gave Aditya the award of Best Smile in Goa. Butterscotch Brulee is not to be missed. Grilled Chicken salad was good. Soup and Fish fingers were okay. It has less salt in most dishes however. May be we North Indian have slightly different taste. Though all that was manageable. Good experience all in all. We hopped in just on reviews. It seems it was closed during Covid and had recently reopened.

The food is really amazing, Soumyen ensure he attains each guest and explain them the dishes. Very nice and sweet gentleman. The food served here is both European and Indian. Even regular food that we eat almost daily tastes very different and good. Perfect place for couples and candle light dinners. You get 5 star treatment that you only get in exclusive chef's kitchen, but at a very very reasonable price

This is an amazing place and chef himself is a very polite and sweet person. Chef specializes in European cuisine but you have enough Indian food also available in menu. It was our best choice considering we were vegetarians( as Goa is famous for its sea food). Menu has many vegetarian options (both European and Indian).
