A group of 543 temples spread on five hills is a magnificent place to visit. You may hate climbing 3600 odd steps that may take two and half hrs to reach the top. You have to sweat it out to get the full satisfaction that you get after reaching the top. Truly excellent place that worth a visit.

Palitana Jain Mandir, a celestial marvel nestled in the Shatrunjaya hills of Gujarat, is an epitome of spiritual grandeur. The ascent of 3,572 steps to reach the summit is not just a physical journey but a transformative pilgrimage. The marble temples, numbering 863 in total, create a breathtaking skyline against the verdant landscape. The intricate carvings on every temple narrate stories of Jain mythology, showcasing a remarkable blend of art and religion. The ambiance resonates with tranquility, providing a serene backdrop for devotees and tourists alike. The sacred pilgrimage site is a testament to Jain architectural brilliance, with Dilwara-esque craftsmanship evident in every corner. The panoramic view from the hilltop, overlooking the vast plains, adds a surreal dimension to the spiritual experience. Pilgrims engage in introspection, and the air is filled with devotion, creating an atmosphere conducive to self-discovery. However, the arduous climb may pose a challenge for some visitors, and facilities at the lower levels could be improved. Despite this, Palitana Jain Mandir remains an unparalleled spiritual odyssey, captivating the soul with its divine aura and architectural splendor, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a profound connection with Jain heritage.

Palitana Jain Tirth Temple, Gujarat, India, is a revered pilgrimage site and a testament to Jain spirituality. Perched at top of the Shatrunjaya Hill, this sprawling temple complex is a treasure trove of religious and architectural significance for the Jain community. The significance of Palitana lies in its association with Lord Adinatha, the first Jain Tirthankara, and its vast collection of marble temples, each exquisitely carved and adorned. Pilgrims ascend over 3,800 steps to reach this spiritual pinnacle, a journey that symbolizes their dedication and commitment to spiritual growth. This sacred site holds a mirror to Jain values of simplicity, non-possessiveness, and respect for all life forms. Even after trekking all the way up you won't feel the tiredness reaching the temple and the vibes are very positive and peaceful. Loved the journey too and fro from the start to end❤️

One of the most revered and divine place of India, and highest seat of worship by shwetambar Jain followers. Bhagwan Swami Shri Adinath Ji temple, which is called affectionately as Dada ka Darbar is situated on Giriraj Shatrunjay on banks of Shatrunjay river. There are more then 3000 stone steps to ascend. The steps are well maintained and clean. Best to time to start climbing is early morning to avoid heat effects. Most of the steps are in open with almost no shade. Few stops are made in between but they are too small and insufficient to handle the crowd. However after reaching the top, it's magnificent temples, area, views, Dada ka Darbar, kalpvriksh,Nav Tanku, everything is superb. There is facility to take bath, change clothes and offer pakshal to Dada, which opens after 10 am and continues till it's over. The difficulty level moderate. Doli or palakhi are available. No urinals. Below is small town with hundreds of dharamshalas and temples. I highly recommend every Sanatani follower to go there once in life time.
