One of the best villas in Kodaikanal. Wonderful view of the lake with beautiful surroundings ...food and amenities were excellent.. special thanks to the owner Arjun and staff making our stay comfortable .

We booked for 7 nights, we had a excellent stay. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Amenities were great. We loved the hall and the kitchenette as we had a 2 year old kid . The lawns were clean and amazing. We ordered food and it was simple and lovely . Finally the view was truly beautiful . We enjoyed watching the lake and watching the mist flow into us

The whole place is a vibe. Must visit to enjoy a calm and serene feeling amongst nature . We visited in peak season n still enjoyed peace and fog . Service was fantastic no follow up needed. Special thanks to the host for putting efforts to keep my elder parents comfortable.

Kodai is a very touristy place, probably a bit too touristy for my liking. However, Arjun's property proved to be an absolute haven. Nestled away from all the hustle and bustle, it offers a great view of the lake from its lawn. The villa, an old British property, has been wonderfully modernized with all the conveniences one could ask for, without sacrificing its old-world charm. For me, the highlight was the retro-styled drawing room on the first floor, which provided a picturesque view of the lake. It was, for me, the best spot in the villa. Having experienced Kodai for the first time, I can confidently say that if I return, I would choose to stay at this property again.

We travelled during a long weekend hence kodaikanal hence it was crowded. However this villa was a bliss , nicely tucked away in a private compound . We loved the view and spent most of our time in the garden . The food served was delicious and hygienic. It was better than most of the properties that we have stayed .

Very much enjoyed the stay more than the Hill Princess (Kodaikanal). All are exceptional their Location, Stay, Rooms, Roads to the property, Parking areas, Foods, Toilets fresh&clean with geysers, Amenities especially for indoor games, Outdoor Lawn areas with Swings, Compound safety gated area with CCTV's more and more. Definitely you will feel like a VIP Customer when you are there in the property they will treat the same. The Property and the People's especially Mr. Aj alias Arjun(Owner) will speak you as a friend and guide you through your trip if you are new to Kodai also the Helper Mr. Sekar will there for a call and good to make chit chats. Still more and more you need to be there to feel it in person. Just BOOK, GO & ENJOY your VACATIONS\TRIPS. Recommended this 200%

Its an average place to stay with family and kids. We have enjoyed the spacious rooms but the single bed given to us is as hard as a rock. Quilts are not fresh which smell amrutanjan. Flush doesnot work properly. Food taste is average but hygenic. There is a gate for the compound which you have to open on your own everytime, property is very very old. Doors are hard to handle during lock and unlock. Wifi doesnt work which ok as the mobile signal is good enough. The response from Mr. Arjun is good in terms of any query while reaching the property. Also we have enjoyed camp fire

We were a group of 6 people who stayed at Maruthi Villa from 5th September to 12th September for workation. The location, villa view, property was really beautiful. It's a perfect place for vacation & workation. Nested on the mountain top overlooking the lake, this cozy villa is the best place to stay. Its proximity to all the shops is an added advantage. The first floor of the house gives you a breathtaking view of the lake. Don't forget to sit in the couch and have a sip of coffee/tea early in the morning. Arjun the host is a gem. He takes care of everything to ensure that the guests have a memorable time spent. Rite from suggesting places to visit, places to shop places to dine, road condition, traffic, he is a mini google for kodaikanal. Thanks a lot Arjun for giving our group a lifetime memorable experience. If you ask those 4 walls of the villa they will tell you how much fun & laughter we had during our stay. Maruti villa is gonna be my place to stay in kodai forever.

Highly recommended for family members to have a peaceful stay. If you are planning for 2 days stay in Kodaikanal, you can choose this villa for one day and the Avantara Woodhouse in same compound for the next day(Both are owned by single owner). You can enjoy staying here. Enough room space and lot of amenities which falls under your budget. Which is also located at middle of the city. Have a look at the pictures which i shared for the 2BHK villa. Camp fire is arranged at additional cost of 650rs. They are also providing tasty home food at affordable price on pre-order. We selected this stay randomly, my family was extremely happy with everything. The location was great and has one of the best sunrise. Rooms are spacious and neat ,. The staff give homely vibe and love

Stayed in the wooden cabin for three days. Very nice location, within a couple kms from city & peaceful. Arjun and staff are very attentive and courteous. Awesome view of the lake & was able to spot quite a few birds as well. Food, cable tv, wifi, bonfire and tour cab facilities available as well

This is one of the hidden gems in Kodai - the lakeviews are to die for and the property is rustic yet comfortable and cozy with two huge bedrooms. Having travelled with my partner and friends for a weekend getaway - it is the perfect place for a romantic/break form the city. In spite of being in the city and not remote, the location is quiet with breathtaking views and multiple outdoor spots for consuming the views for reading, sitting out, having meals. Arjun & his team are wonderful hosts taking care of your every little need from arrival to departure - the meals are homely, the staff is too courteaous, the vintage building is comfortable & hygienic and has all the amenities for a safe & hassle-free stay. Will highly recommend this to every traveller - experiencing monsoons/winters from this property is an unforgettable experience.

I stayed for 3 nights with my husband and in-laws. The host was very kind to suggest places to visit and restaurants to try. The 1st room is cute and elegant. The second room is just a room with 2 separate beds. A group of 5-6 can stay together. The weather is too good. For the price we paid it was definitely worth it. It would be better if the host had mentioned the elderly couple to take the room behind, which had minimal steps. My in-laws kept hitting their heads in the toilet doorway and were about to slip near EWC due to the height differences. You will need to wait a bit for the cistern to refill for you to flush the second time. Water in the bathrooms are cold, so recommend to fill your bucket with hot water rather than going for the hand shower. I would recommend going out for food or buying ingredients and making a quick breakfast.

Great place to stay, was with my family for my father's birthday. Wonderful hospitality by the owners and staff. Clean large bedrooms and view from the garden is a must. Glad we booked this stay as it was very close to the town yet secluded. Must try their soft idlys

I would definitely say with 100 percent confidence that this one of "the best stay" that i have ever stayed in kodaikanal. Right from Arjun humble hosting ensuring that we reach his location without much hassle to the beautiful room and garden, everything was so pleasant and definitely worthy for the money we paid. Coming to the room, I have never seen such a lovely stay room with so much detailed interior and beautiful antiques. It comes with all amenities including kitchen!!!We had a resting room with a beautiful view as well with so many indoor games which took our mind from not able to see sightseeing due to heavy rain. We enjoyed being inside the room rather than attempting something to go outside.. Thanks much Arjun for everything. Guys, if you are reading this post looking for a stay in Kodaikanal.. I would 100 percent recommend this place.. Trust me you will not be disappointed with the stay... Adding to all above it's very near to kodaikanal lake for an easy transport too! All in one place!!

This place has the best location with amazing views. Rooms are clean and cosz. The facilities and food were excellent. Special mention to the owner and staff who went out of the way to make us comfortable. Wish we could have extended our stay.

Maruti Villa is an absolute paradise. Right from the villa to the view everything you see is a treat to your eyes! I had the best 7-day stay here. It was warm, pleasent, and filled with so much love. Arjun and his family are very extremely kind and they give you the best tips on places to visit and also on ways to spend days in Kodai. On the other hand Devi and Anna make some really heart warming, home cooked meals for you! Its been just a few days I'm home but I can't wait to plan my next trip there. Decent rooms, service & location for stay. But, very less option when it comes to food. Would have loved to have more food options given that there's very less options outside in Kodaikanal.

The villa was amazing stay. The food we ordered informed to less spicy as i am allergic to spicy food. The caretaker made very spicy. I faced whole night stomach burn and sleepless. The food was tasty but spicy level is very high

One of the best stays I have ever stayed. Best for people who want to do a staycation or just want to relax and enjoy the climate. House gives a feeling of pleasure and keeps mind calm. The lawn with table and chair is the place we occupied every morning.

A wonderful experience staying at this cottage. You have wonderful view in front, amazing food and comfortable rooms. What else I will look for. The service A1. Arjun the owner took care of everything. Shekhar the chef was amazing. He has magic in his hands. You have wifi, tv everything on place. Enough parking space. Its situated in old upper lake road,, u can catch the glimpse of kodai lake from the balcony.. good lawn area with beautiful flowers.. very comfortable stay.. It is just 5mins away from kodai lake.. Two kind of stay available a comfortable villa & cozy wood house.

This is a 100 year old heritage bungalow customized as home stay. Excellent view of the lake , large lawn and nice to see lot of antiques preserved here. But the first floor feels unsafe as the floor shakes when you walk.
