It
is
shameful
to
note
that
many
unethical
selling
practices
are
being
run
at
Zivame
store
in
Orion
Mall
Bengaluru.
I
wanted
to
shop
one
Saree
shapewear
and
one
tummy
shapewear
from
the
Zivame
store
located
in
Orion
Mall
Bengaluru.
I
noticed
that
there
is
upto
70%
off
board
advertised
at
the
store.
When
I
select
the
aforementioned
two
items
and
reach
the
billing
counter,
the
staff
at
the
counter
says
I’m
eligible
for
one
more
free
saree
shapewear,
then
she
adds
the
“so
called
free”
saree
shapewear
to
bill
and
checks
the
total
amount
and
says..
one
more
shapewear
will
be
free..
she
adds
the
another
“so
called
free”
shapewear
to
the
bill
and
checks
the
total
and
comes
back
again
..please
select
a
bra
or
panty
it
will
be
free..
This
is
when
I
tell
her
that
I
do
not
require
anything
else
but
she
keeps
on
insisting
that
it
is
free
and
I
will
only
have
to
pay
the
MRP
of
the
2
items
that
I
anyways
wanted
to
buy.
She
asks
me
to
select
a
track
pant
or
a
sleeping
T
shirt
which
I
do
not
require
so
she
starts
adding
cosmetic
products
like
Aloe
vera
gel..Everytime
she
checks
the
total
and
comes
to
the
conclusion
that
one
more
product
would
be
free.
I
ask
her
to
just
apply
the
applicable
discount
to
the
two
products
that
I
came
to
buy
for,
she
said
sorry
the
store
only
has
combo
offer
and
no
discounts.
Ultimately
she
adds
the
following
“so
called
free”
items
:
2
Saree
Shapewear
,
1
Aloevera
Gel,
1
Intimate
wash
and
1
Surface
sanitizer
spray.
At
this
point
I
knew
something
fishy
is
being
done.
The
same
ordeal
had
happened
to
me
earlier
once
when
I
had
come
shopping
in
May
2023
with
my
mother
in
law.
So,
I
ask
her
to
bill
just
2
items
which
I
came
to
buy
but
she
prints
the
bill
which
has
all
the
items
which
she
repeatedly
says
“they
are
free”
and
prices
are
mentioned
for
each
one
of
them.
The
MRP
of
the
2
products
that
I
originally
wanted
to
buy
was
1795
and
1495
Rs
which
comes
to
Rs
3290/-
but
the
staff
asks
me
to
pay
Rs
3475/-
When
I
enquire
about
the
price
difference
she
says
that
“It
is
tax”
I
leave
the
store
feeling
scammed
and
went
to
my
Husband
who
was
shopping
in
the
same
mall.
We
went
back
to
the
store
again
to
raise
the
issue.
The
manager
at
the
store
could
not
give
a
logical
explanation
why
the
free
products
had
a
share
of
the
total
bill
amount.
She
was
saying
that
they
split
the
entire
bill
amount
to
the
free
products
as
well
so
that
when
customer
wants
to
return
the
free
products
we
do
not
have
a
problem
with
our
store
inventory.
After
showing
her
the
online
rates
against
the
Saree
shapewear
and
the
Shapewear
which
I
wanted
to
buy
which
was
at
65%
discount
on
zivame
website,
she
says
that
discounts
are
only
for
online
website
but
not
in
store.
After
persistent
arguments
she
was
ready
to
give
a
credit
note
instead
of
the
free
products
after
which
my
husband
argued
that
if
these
products
are
free
how
can
you
issue
me
a
credit
note.
We
asked
her
to
give
us
a
full
refund
and
we
did
not
want
to
keep
any
product
from
this
shady
store.
But
the
store
manager
says
that
we
cannot
issue
refunds
as
Zivame
does
not
have
this
policy.
At
this
point,
we
called
zivame
customer
care
and
also
talked
to
the
area
sales
manager
after
the
store
manager
makes
us
talk
to
her.
I
explain
to
the
Area
Sales
manager
that
how
can
there
be
no
discounts
when
there
is
a
board
inside
the
store
saying
upto
70%
discount,
so
she
says
that
we
can
apply
the
discounts
and
issue
a
credit
note
for
the
excess
bill
amount
to
which
we
say
that
we
want
a
full
refund.
They
finally
decide
to
issue
us
a
refund
and
ask
to
wait
till
the
day
end
for
the
UPI
credit.
This
time
we
do
not
believe
the
store
staff
and
ask
them
to
immediately
issue
us
a
refund.
They
do
so
by
using
a
store
staff’s
UPI
ID
and
we
received
the
credit.
Extremely
shameful
and
unethical
practices
