The bus terminus is adjacent to Durgapur Rail Station. Buses of almost all routes are available here. There is an another terminus for township routes only. SBSTC buses also available here and there is a booking counter also located within the premises. Taxis are available here. Big terminus but lack of waiting room. So get ready for suffering in bad weather.

I love this bus stand bexoz you can get train station, main bus stand and mini bus stand or town service also at one place. You don't have to waste time for going other places..you can get every route bus at this place..good junction...partly clean...

The bus stand and the railway station are located side by side. All types of transport are available here such as public buses, private buses and taxis are also available from taxi stands for hire. The taxi stand is located right next to the railway station. Buses of various routes are available from here such as short route Durgapur Town Service (A Zone B Zone C Zone Mayabazar Bidhan Nagar Mamra Bazar) as well as medium route buses (Bankura, Asansol Barakar Raniganj Gangajalghati Nadiha Suri Bolpur). Similarly long distance public transport and private transport like Bokaro Tata Puri Siliguri are available from here. Also get Auto Toto from outside the bus stand to get closer to the station.

Normal place no waiting area. Have a urinal or bathroom but not clean at all and charge a few bucks. Many food options but not so healthy or hygienic. Many bus of long distance starts from here.

It is nice in terms of connectivity. There are two parts in it-one for city buses and another for the long distance buses. Some long distance buses even connect you to Kolkata, the state capital. Besides buses for Krisna nagar, Bolpur, Malda, Ranchi, Purulia, Bankura etc are also available from here. The additional advantage is the auto stand. The negative part is the cleanliness. It is in very bad shape in terms of cleanliness. Though several food stalls are here but for a meal the place is not good and costly.

Nice and clean compared to other stations. Cordial behaviour of rail employees. SBSTC bus services is there. Local mini bus ply in various routes and covered almost all parts of Durgapur. Cheap and best. One thing that it lacks that they don't provide any tickets for plying locally through bus.

A green city

One of the places where Bustand & Railway station are too close together. You will get lots of buses going to Digha, Kolkata, Beharampur, Malda, Purulia and other places. Lots of hotel & shops are there. Area is paved with concrete. But administration should give attention for clearing purpose.

Few year ago the bus stand are very clean but now...this is not clean
