This station is very huge and one must appreciate how well the station has managed to cope up with latest technologies... Like digital display of confirmed passenger list, Google WiFi @ station. One must also appreciate their effort to keep station clean with cleaning carts. Ample number of power points for charging gadgets. One concern is that the station platform can be reached from any of the restaurants on the station. Though convenient, security is compromised.

I found Raipur railway station is almost clean not get a chance to complain about cleanness. Outside Raipur railway station there are many hotels and restaurants available at good price. and I found also Raipur one of the cleanest city I have ever seen in my life. And Raipur is very beautiful you must visit there at least once in your lifetime. It is not also overpopulated like Delhi which makes this place even more delightful ❤.

Be carefull about your belongings, specifically in the sleeper class waiting room. If u happen to lose something you are not going to get it back even though there is cctv camera(cause they dont are in working condition most of the time). Rest of the part of the station is good and well maintained(thats really an amazing thing)

Smaller than bilaspur junction. Clean well maintained. But the lift on platform which is meant for senior citizen and specially abled person is used by young people. I found senior citizens helpless standing there. There was no one from railways to monitor this.

Raipur railway station is one of the busiest railway station in India . All types of services are available here. ie food, rickshaw etc but city bus services are not available for 24hrs.

It's a big and good railway station/junction with 3-4 overbridges.Although it's not equipped with modern infrastructure,still it's good enough.there are outlets of cafe coffee day and other franchises.waiting rooms are well maintained even in 2nd class.this station is disable friendly too.This station/junction is just 2 hours away from Bilaspur junction which is another huge station.overall It's good.

Today at 2:0 am in Raipur railway station (C.G) ambient temperature is normal 26 deg.and heavy rain falls but all plateform celing fans are running continue their is no more passenger are present on plateform, Railway is the lead role of energy saving but unfortunately they could not follow up energy saving criteria. I hope upper offices may be attention & take needful action regarding energy saving.

Information screen are working properly announcement is also going on regularly so you can easily no your train timing and platform.
