Regional science centre is an amazing place for kids and those who love science. It offers a great opportunity to learn more about the world around us in a fun, interactive way. The architecture of the centre is top-notch, making it one of the best hangout places I have been to. The staff at Regional Science Centre are friendly and knowledgeable but could do with some improvement when it comes to their uniformity; they're often hard to recognize due to lack thereof. Nevertheless, they are always willing to help out visitors if needed! The best time of day that I would recommend visiting Regional Science Centre would be during sunset as you can enjoy its beauty from within this wonderful environment while also learning something new at the same time! All in all, Regional Science Centre has much potential and should definitely not be missed by anyone looking for an enjoyable yet educational experience!

The Regional Science Center in Rajkot is a fantastic knowledge hub, courtesy of the government's commendable initiative. It offers a diverse array of interactive exhibits across various scientific domains, making it an excellent place to nurture curiosity about technology and its history. However, some areas require better maintenance and crowd control. Nonetheless, it's a must-visit for those seeking a stimulating scientific experience.

First they will charge for entry fee and then u have to buy for your selected rides and VR shows. If u don't understand what to choose among various theme then just ask them they will guide u. Must try ride is 360 degree VR film. Best visit place for primary and higher secondary students, especially for science students. I would recommend to go on normal working days, they will charge double on holidays and weekends.

Marvellous place in one world, for children college students and for those who love science. This is a place to learn science not a simple tourist spot. Entry fee 50 Rs per head, below 3 years entry is free. Vehicle charge for 4 wheeler is 50 Rs and 2 wheeler charges are 10 Rs. There are different galleries. And in each galleries guides will describe each and every scientific points related to this. The presentation is so prominent and clear my little daughter enjoyed this well. We spend 5 hours till its closing time 8 pm. Galleries are as follows. 1. Life science galleries. It describe the start of life, start of universe, habitable zone of planet, different eco system, and much more. 2. Glass and ceramics. 3. Nobel Prize winners. 4. Robotic galleries. 5. Light and sound galleries. 6. Machine galleries. Apart from this there is many scientific experiments, 3D theatre, but for this additional ticket of 100 Rs to collect. Which we do not cover for lack of time. Canteen, drinking water, and toilet facility available

Worth a visit for those who love history and have interest in kites. Place is not well maintained. Photography is not allowed but nobody is around to monitor. Entry is free and read through the write-up's. Some of the facts are eye opening and you can gradually see how flying and kite flying as a hobby is connected. Take the kids along!!

3 stars because it was closed and I have no clue What's inside. However I was able to spot some beautiful old rock art. Again these beautiful sculptures were very amazing to look at but there was no history or details written anywhere around. All we can do is imagine what could it have been in the past. Maybe if they do some more work on it, I will prefer going there again.

Located on Bhagtacharya road, Kocharab, Paldi at Ahmedabad, the kite museum is a nice place, especially for kids to see first hand the beautiful art of kites. Gujarat is synonymous with kite flying during the Uttarayan festival. During this time of the year, the sky is rendered colorful with kites flying all over the sky in unimaginable sizes, shapes, & color. Irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, Gujaratis fly kites during this festival. The museum is located within Sanskar Kendra, designed by Le Corbusier. It is mentioned that the thought of setting up such a museum came to Sri. Bhanubhai Shah when he gave away his collection of kites to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, which also incidentally manages the place. The museum also has display of several historical aspects of kite flying since the ancient times. It's astonishing to read about the different types of kites from other parts of the world & how this art has evolved over the ages. The museum is easily accessible by different modes of transport. Overall, a beautiful place to visit with kids. 👌👌🇮🇳🇮🇳

(Translated by Google) There is nothing to look at in the exhibition content, but it is free of charge. The building is the worst in maintenance, but it has a design of Corbusier, and elements like Corbusier such as pilotis and slopes can be seen. It can be enjoyed by comparing it with the National Art Center of Tokyo.

It is the only kite museum in India. The uniqueness will not be evident as this is treated as a part of the museum building. The place is also not maintained properly. Photography is prohibited inside the area. The evolution of kites has been portrayed sequentially and will definitely entertain you.
