Mostly you found one of the gantry is not working.... This terminal is mainly for Bulk Carriers so you'll find dust all around in the air ..... Cleanliness is poor... Mooring gang staff is aggressive.... If you are sailing on a container vessel you will get enough port stay at this port.... Luckily if you don't get shifting then nice for the Ship's crew... overall okay...

2 gantries, about 400mtr Containerberth, Lock, not the fastest port. Any claim against port will be turned into a claim to vessel.... Be careful with this and always contact agency before doing so. l

This place is inside of the Haldia Dock Complex

HICT Terminal side is good. Uncleaned Area in the entire dock place due to coal dust spreading over the area and cleaning is not maintained effectively by HDC. Traffic system is horrible condition. Living in locality area is not satisfactory in point of fooding, electric bill is high beyond the prescribed rate/ unit and other local issues like interference of Union during shifting of home appliances.

Be careful when making voyage by river route due to tidal effects. Which is the main concern of terminal route.
