I searched for cabs near Mangalore airport and shortlisted a couple of them. My list includes online aggregators like Saavari and Gocabz. Pradeep at Mangalore Travels Corporation sounded friendly and his proposal was clear. After I decided to go with him, he arranged a cab to pick us at the Mangalore Airport and drop at Suntikoppa. Kalkesh picked us on time and dropped us. He was a nice guy and cooperative. Pradeep in fact called me to make sure we stop on the way for lunch. Excellent customer service. Rs 10 per Km is a good deal, but asking customer to pay for the return in full is not a good idea.

We went on a temple tour to udupi, sringeri , hornadu and north Karnataka region from Mangalore with my family , our driver Mr Ramesh was very professional and provided a history for all temples and the practices each has, we felt immensely blessed to have him as our companion during the trip , he also gave suggestions on our plan and eateries. I was picked up by Driver Parshuram at Mangalore Airport on my flight from Delhi via Mumbai and transported to the hotel. I had to then travel to a temple complex about 110 kms away. He drove with great care and safety as I returned and spent the night in Mangalore. The next morning Parshuram arrived at 4.10 am and drove me to the Temple Complex again in comfort and safety.
