A filthy place with no organized system. People are there without masks, staff is there without mask and coughing. There are third party private shops acting as RTO officials and scamming people. No enforcement for that. The building is very unhygienic, with paan stains, broken walls and dirty surfaces. The officials are very rude. There is no signage about the procedure, there is no information in English anywhere. Pathetic experience at the RTO. They need to change the staff, should eliminate corruption and teach the staff about basic étiquette of how to treat people. If possible, I urge you to book some other RTO and not Vashi, they will piss you off.

I will start by saying this, I did not take any agent for any of the services i took (my Learners license , my drivers license, my sisters same process , my dad's license renewal, my frnds livense process and also AEDL process) I did it through this rto without any agents so my review is very much transparent I agree with everyone saying no one values time online appointment are just written on paper and no one goes by it at the rto as well as training ground my DL test officers were 1½ hrs late. Yes Agents also a big problem at this rto they walk along with officers as if they are frnds since childhood they even suggest officers how to approve the applications (in bunch or slot wise) and get their work done first bot caring about individuals, I see them directing their clients in front of the line ahead of everyone and keep everyonr ready one after the other. Bribery is an option although my Dad thought me and sister well enough and we LEGALLY passed pur tests at the first attempt but yes i have seen failing students being passed. Time is what u have to invest alot! Although I was very efficient with all my forms and my online process i finished my test on 1st of oct 2020 and now its 11th of oct and its still not approved (forget about them packing and then posting). Yes they can't deny you if u do it legally BUT BUT they will delay you as much as they can and prioritize agent applications which should be looked by the top officers (well i dnt even trust them because they just do it to have a bite of their profits) Mera desh badal nhi sakta! Aage badhne ki toh baat hi mat karo....

Been there for the first time and I want it to be the last time. Very confusing and unhygienic. It is not at all recommend to physically visit it during the covid at least. The time schedule is just for name sake and nobody seems to follow it over there. Although the staff at the window was good and was helpful enough to guide me to the counter. There are instructions written still pretty much confusing and the main query counter was closed. *Do not visit it ever during monsoon. They will keep you waiting for hours in line saying internet is not working and doesn't look like any authority is trying to resolve it instead they mentioned let's just hope internet comes back online and we cannot do anything about it. You should visit next week. That's all problem resolved* :) The Web portal looks pretty much great and works fine until the payment is done. After that stage no response is received and had to visit the RTO office just to ask what's the issue.

All government offices are proving to be complete waste of time including this RTO office in Vashi. If a query is asked you will be told to visit the website and get your problems solved online, the websites server won't respond or work and luck has it if it processed. If not, then the website prompts please visit RTO. And then you are stuck in this never-ending loop. I am still struggling to get a DL slot for over months and my LL is soon to expire. DL slots are limited but the RTO won't take efforts to manage the demand or pitch more time . Typical Indian Government office experience 10/10.

First if the building where the office is located is not a good location for the RTO office. There is not proper system to manage the people who visit there for any purpose. Almost all the time their servers are not working. So we have to wait and also work according to them leaving all our work. The concern is please have a proper well operated RTO office.

Comparing past ten years, It is definitely improved system now. I genuinely feel that the government's effort to make India digital gets paid here. The best part is there is no space for corruption here :) The only thing I feel could be improved is the information; though the departments have published all the requirements in detail, today's generation needs shorter and more precise data, read less and move fast 😎 Also, it would be great if some flow charts were available like after this step, what is the next and how to complete it. But all together, much, much, much better than an expectation.

I visited the RTO Ground today to give my four wheeler driving test , overall the four wheeler driving test in Vashi RTO Ground is very easy , as you have to drive your car/driving school car forward for 300 meters and then reverse till the starting point without stalling the car , then you get the approval of DL

It's always a dreadful experience to visit this RTO office. Chaotic, mismanaged, unsystematic, untidy, all at once. While I know most of the government offices are like this, what I don't understand is how come no one has thought about improving things around here. The government has made all the services accessible only through online portals. Common man without internet knowledge cannot access these services and has to rely on agents. Agents have a relation with these corrupt RTO officers and pay them regularly to get their work done on priority. It's a whole syndicate that is being run here. The government officers are rude, disrespectful and unhelpful most of the time. I hope things change but I'm seeing this since a decade and I don't see any changes coming in the near future. No wonder the youth of our nation are moving out of the country every chance they get.

Disgusting location. Incompetent staff. They will make you run around in circles to get small jobs done. Needed to get my hypothecation terminated. Weirdly enough maharashtra RTO needs you to first upload all documents online and then again visit the RTO office with the same documents for submission. Their, officials appeared to be deliberately clueless regarding the process. Then one person says they won't accept documents after 2 pm, whereas counter closing time is 5.30 pm. Besides you apparently need to take approvals by visiting multiple counters. They won't accept on Saturdays. And ultimately he drops the hint saying that I can always send the documents through a "third person". Had to pay an agent 1000 bucks to get the job done. So much for digital India. Jay Hind.

Absolutely shameful. It is a disgrace to modern India. Old dilapidated building, dirty, when the government will wake up?One will feel depressed to visit the place, imagine the distress of the persons who go daily to work there! No signboards to help, no PRO.

For one of the richest RTO in Mumbai, the office is shabby dingy and outdated. Feels like I had walked into a govt office from 1980s. Please put our tax to good use and improve the office.

Must read my experience. - i had applied for a bike test. I reached the location at 8.30. nobody was there. i practiced for some time on the same "8" where our test will be taken later. that "8" was huge and any kid could complete the test. i dont know why but they also made everyone attach their bike documents to our form. bike RC, PUC, Insurance (1 copy xerox of each). process was fast and easy but duration between two processes was long. i entered line to verify my documents. officer verified my name, address and photo. then told me to drive my bike and take the "8" test. after few seconds i took the test, he saw confirmed that i did it right, i went back to his desk and he wrote bike number and "pass" on the form, he asked me to wait till 12. after 12 another process with start. at 12 he just inserted "pass" details in his computer from our form in 20 seconds and asked me to visit RTO (window/cabin number 2). one officer signed the documents which tool 2 seconds and asked me to submit that signed bunch to window number 27. thats all it is. all process done. - Two places you need to sign your attendance. 1. once after your test is over and you are waiting for another process to happen after 12pm. 2. after submitting your form at last window (27 in my case). -person who took our test was super cool. some guys failed but he gave them another chance. sometimes we get nervous and fail.

Staff is not helpful , went there for choice numbers. Working hours are till 5pm but 2 pm they are out of work and still no UPI payment mechanism at RTO.

While many government organisations I have seen are very clean and organized, this one is dirty and not organized. You can rarely complete a task in one go. You will be harassed to come again and again. Employees of RTO seem to be doing a favour to the public not service. Go there with this mindset, keep your expectations very low and you will be happy. If you are not happy with RTO who cares any way ?

The staff is typical government style lethargic and the building is in terrible condition. I would never ask a lady to go here by herself. Unsanitary, unruly and disgusting. Typical bureaucratic staff and i had to run to 6 different windows just to submit my license for renewal. Rather pay an agent and get him to do the work for you.

The Regional Transport Authority office is located in the premises and buildings of wholesale markets known as APMC Maffco markets Vashi. The office is housed on 2 nd floor of one of the buildings. I had gone to the office for follow-up of my online application for Advance renewal of DL.Despite pushovers from window number x to window number y the job got done efficiently and I was out of the office in 15 minutes. The experience was not bad at all

I wish i could give 0 stars, we went to counter no 6 for choice number the guy was busy watching video on his cellphone the one with glasses and tattoo on his hand...when asked about choice no price he said cant you read its posted on the counter, the oage was half torn with no proper information...what a disgrace that place is vashi rto government goons think that are superior....what a shameless place

It is very complicate route to reach at vashi RTO. We ha e to go through APMC market truck queue. Once you reach at RTO office there are no indicators to reach at your exact destination official. There are multiple windows for different work and there timings are 10.30 am to 2.30pm. Digitalization required as it is old government office with lots of paper bunch.

The Building premises is old, the office is in 1st floor, there is no lift nor Handicap access so not for the disabled. Prepare your documents as per the online information given Have Patience with the staff as they are slow paced but helpful, be prepared to end up with minimum 2 hours to get your work done. my work it was a transfer within same RTO, Step register on parvahan saarthi website, 1) enter Registration number with Last 5 digits of chassis number 2) get mobile number verified by OTP by the seller 3) Update details 4) Make payment of fees 400 Rs and fines if any 5) Take the print out of the receipt and form 29 and 30 generated 6) visit RTO with this documents RC book, Application receipt, form 29 and 30, seller Aadhar and Pan card signed, buyer ID proof and Address proof light/gas bill, PUC and Insurance copy, Chassis number pencil sketch Make a file and verify from Window 9, then take DO sign from Window 2 and submit to window 9 again

It is very poorly maintained office with no social distance norms

My Bike RC was misplaced and expired, double whammy. Was doubtful whether could be done through a linear route without involving agents, which trust me are all scammers, do not approach them. Went to counter 12, the gentleman there was so polite and walked me through the entire process. No doubt there were multiple counter visits involved, but didn't have to wait long. The officer cadre was very helpful has well. It took me 2 days to get my paper work in order, but all without paying a single penny to any officer. The process could have been more streamlined but am a happy trooper. All done and dusted today. In closing, if your are willing to put in a little leg work, then you don't need anybody to assist you. Kuddos again to window 12 sir, he's poster guy for an efficient government employee. They speak Hindi and Marathi, forms are all in English.

Location is very inside.......not maintained......no rules and regulations only unnecessary rush inside

Rto is RTO what can i edited about it as many people apply and keep moving from one table to another....but i had visited this for some other purpose and it was quite and peacefully at the time of visit......it is very big and italso has many offices with agents and also a small bank along with surrounded with apmc market

They give appointment for 8.30 but they open itself at 9 so always go at sharp 9 but the staff their is very helpful

Decent staff however, the processes and to and fro is so much that one has to opt for an agent for quick service.

1. ANY DOCUMENTS OF 2 /4 / ANY TRANSPORT VEHICLE BETWEEN RTO AND AGENT, THERE IS BIG DIFFERENCE IN RATES. 2. THROUGH RTO, LOT OF DOCS, TEDIOUS PROCEDURE, TIME CONSUMING. THROUGH AGENT PAY MORE WITH SIMILAR DOCS, WITHIN 24-48 WORK GETS COMPLETED. 3. ONLINE VAHAN WEB, STILL IT ISN'T SIMPLIFIED!

RTO closed on 31st December and 1 January due to sarthi portal updation every year Call center guys says its open but no not on these days Also every second and forth Saturday RTO office remain closed

Infrastructure of Office of RTO Vashi (MH43) is very poor. Needs at least decent chairs for people awaiting for 'punctual' RTO staff. A minor plastering and fresh coat of paint will improve aesthetics of the Building. RTO Staff should be punctual. Even though they are working on five day a week basis, their interaction time with people is 10.30 AM to 3 PM which is short. It should be 9 AM to 3 PM. In my case RTO Staff reported at 11.15 AM!! Touts are still active in this RTO.

Not Good service

Compared to the other states Maharashtra has a better grasp at things especially government offices. The process was smooth, transparent and quick... Also no corruption!! The inspector who took my exam was patient and kind...Thank you RTO Vashi..
