Giving 1star because I like one of the officer who didn't let the rich people get their service done directly, he told everyone to first come first serve. Other staff is so arrogant towards customers specially to Sikhs. Most of the staff don't speak punjabi and just sit there to chit chat with each other and ignoring customers who are waiting in front of them. Also, Normal processing is 21days but I never got my passport in normal time. I have to pay huge amount 40k to get my passport in 3days. Full of corruption, this people will give a passport to non citizens, you just pay them and you got one then.

Trying to get a Passport reissued for over 1-year and this Jalandhar office/officer is staffed by the most inefficient and incompetent people who just sit on their chairs doing nothing. They do not process applications in a timely manner, make excuses to skip work despite being a public servant. Worst RPO office in India, and rightly so. Never seen such idiots working in a government office before.

RPO Jalandhar is worst in all over India . If you try to pick appointment for query for your passport you need appointment but when you try book online appointment it say all appointment has book. They definitely sale appointment which is free. We need write vigilance department regarding this matters. Or file petition against this crime. This RPO officer must be removed immediately. All bribe is going in .

What type of digital India is this. Shame on you regional passport office. ​ They have 2 landline numbers. But they will never pick the call. There is no way to get an appointment to go there because all appointments get booked at sharp 11 Am. And guess what appointment booking time starts at 11Am. The system is making fool of people. Speaking from my experience : 1) There is no way to get our work done online. 2) We cannot talk to them on call. 3) We cannot go there without any appointment,which we will never get. (Trying to get an appointment from 3 months) Just pathetic service and awful system . No wonder,why privatisation is going on at rapid pace.

Guys , if anyone is reading the review , its my request kindly do not book any appointment with Reginal office Jalandhar. First of all they do not bother about the time for which appointment you have scheduled. Moreover they will ask to get un necessaries Print outs without any reason. The staff is to uneducated and rude that talking to them is like insulting one self. Take some time and schedule it later for 15 , 20 days for psk nakodar but avoid going there if it is not urgent.

My father been there for just a question regarding cancellation confirmation printout he just wanted to clearify his query but instead of been resolved in the counter they allotted him a token number for which he has to wait whole day out there . Really disapointed with this all . At last he been out in the computer cafe and get it done in fraction of sections . The whole system needs to show some kindness towards the Elders atleast.

I would like to start by saying that the service is the worst of any other Government services provided in the district. The person he/she sitting at the phone never answers the calls goes to suow that they are not even eligible to handle phonecalls. They should change the staff and hire people who actually do their job.

Very good service inside office and very polite staff but u have to come here on 6:00am because line of applicants are so big, and the only enter near about 18 applicant.u have to take token for entry.

Resaons for all issues at this branch is senior Officer. I applied TATKAL passport and paid fees , But senior incharge here told to bring Police Documents , BUT Customer care dint told to bring any document. Secondly , when i told please convert it to normal category , then he told he cant do it. BUT customer care people told senior can do it. Result is Senior at this branch is RUDE and because of him other staff is also like that. In country like india , no-one is there to check these type of people.

Six months and waiting. How many people do they have working at this office? 2? No one has the ability to get an applications pushed through.

Been waiting for passport reissue and guess what they’re still keeping us waiting. Got confirmation for white passport reissue from outside more than a month ago and by now passport is supposed to be here but nope. These people didn’t even know they received that email until I forwarded an email I received from embassy which I’ve sent enquiry for multiple times there too. They really are taking bribes for these works or else it’s matter of confirming emails and what not yet takes so long.

No system been followed... even after the confirmed appointment has to wait 2 hours. The security guard is too rude to the people. Atleast they should follow some order.

Looks like Corona has really affected the zoo as the maintenance has gone down since the last time we visited. Came to know that the owls in the nocturnal park have died. Better to take you own 4 wheeler inside which costs 500rs but save a lot of time and energy if you want to cover every enclosure without much of tiredness.

This is an amazing place for those who love nature. The ticket price is just 50 rupees for adults and 20 rupees for kids which is a bargain for the amazing experience. We can watch carnivores at a very close view. But sometimes when go there,the animals we wish to see will be sleeping at a distant place behind the trees which will leave us with disappointment. If you want to see the animals closely then go there at a time around 2pm. It is advisable to click a picture of the zoo map to know where to go since the zoo is very large. The washrooms are neatly maintained. It takes around 2 to 3hrs to watch all the animals. overall it's a great experience

Indira Gandhi Zoological Park is one of the biggest zoos in India. It has many species of animals and lots of exotic and endemic species as well. The new animals Zebras are great as well. If you love nature and like to surround yourself with it then trust me there is no place better than this. With its lake and all... It really is the best! P.S. if you are lucky, you can see deers outside on the roads and not in the exhibits.

I agree with most of the people here and wish i could give negative review. 1. The staff is extremely rude even with elderly people, they behave like they are doing favor on people by processing their applications. No sense of talking 2. Staff is uneducated and misguiding people. The have forced my dad to write his surname with his first name and keeping surname blank in spite of having all supporting documents. (Asked him to resubmit application with corrections which was already correct) Also misleading to religious beliefs. 3. There is no proper office, they have Vans where they have temporary setup. It is quite inconvenient for people to enter the VAN due to its height. They have kept bricks to step on and enter the VANs which are again very wobbly. I insist people not to book appointment here if you want your applications to be processed smoothly and avoid mental torture.
