Having studied at NMIT nearby, I remember this place, especially this area during 2003-2005. It was secluded then, but in recent years, I have noticed that this place has developed so much. I took the route via this Memorial to watch the biennial Aero India show at Yelahanka in 2017(exact date was 18feb2017) and felt the sense of pride and belonging to the nation. It is a very simple place with lots of memories saved carefully and with lots of love. No one can forget his sacrifice, no one can fill his absence, no one can be a bigger hero than him. I knew nothing about him till 2008 but now I feel a greater sense of belonging, of being a fellow Bangalorean, sharing similar roots in Bangalore and humble beginnings from my studies in the nearby Air Force School. My tributes to him and his family. Will definitely visit again when possible to just remind myself of how small we all are when compared to a soldier.
