I used to be a regular customer at decathlon. However the newly purchased hammock was torn on the very second day. Did not expect such cheap quality products from decathlon. When tried to claim the 2 year warranty, I was informed that is is only applicable for the stitches and not for the cloth. Then what is the point in warranty if it's not for the cloth??. Appalled by the extremely poor service from a reputed brand. Never ever going back to them!

This 5 star rating is entirely for the guys at cycling section. Although the stokes are limited owing to corona,these people do a fantastic job with what is available. They are very cooperative and helpful. Other positives are a huge parking lot and adherence to covid protocols. Also the sports dresses,bags etc are available at very affordable rate. The main advantage of their products is quality. Now coming to drawbacks. Most of the staff(except cycling) are kind of arrogant and does not show any interest in customer satisfaction. For example,I asked for the direction of a product and they showed the wrong section. Then again when I asked they showed the right one but didn't bother to help me out in finding the right product and size. So I would recommend buying ONLINE if they have delivery at your place. And yes the securities there know how to behave, better than some of so called staffs.

As usual same as every decathlon store. Very friendly  staff's. Staff's very helpful and dealing with customer great. We can try all sport item. A good collection of accessories,dress,bottles...etc. Best in quality. Items arranged in clearly, so that you can easily find as your wish. The shop is kept very clean both inside and outside. A wide range of parking available, no issues.

It's first impressions , needed winter clothing for kid going for study in delhi, after visiting several stores decided to visit store in first week of Nov 22. Used Google map to reach store and its was spot on. The parking space is spacious . The store is full of sports related gears ,equipment, clothing . Purchased jacket ,thermal inners , the quality looks okay . The staff are friendly , the products have warranty.

Very poor customer service don't buy anything from Kottayam decathlon . Super dull poor customer service, Kottayam decathlon is a no go for me henceforth, and so would be for who ever hears from me, I bought a Quechua trekking shoes from kottayam decathlon like 6 months back and now the sole of the pair has a big tear large enough to invite everything that a shoe supposedly has to stop, sad part is that i thought a "trekking" shoes from a sports directed store would be rugged enough to handle my rare occasional shoe time, didn't know the "trekking" tag with the shoe was all talk and no work. Well when i reached out to the store for the sale time affirmation of "any issue with the sole in future will have a replacement claim", their response made it clear that not just the product but the store itself is "all talk and no work".. to my replacement request i was told that a trekking shoe should only be used to trek and not for any casual use, maybe an even terrain is not good for something made for an uneven terrain, then again shouldn't the store be telling customers not to use trekking shoe for anything but trekking only 😛. Store manager directed me to some other guy who supposedly is the final say with regards to shoe thingy in the store, i wonder how the managerial hierarchy is, seems everything in the shop is name sake. So long story short i didn't get no replacement because i didn't get the tear on them soles from trekking but from normal casual use. The service is below par from any Decathlon i have ever been to, the incompetence and unprofessionalism is execrable. Attaching images herewith, Anywhere but kottayam deacthlon now on !!

The shop for all fake promises!!! Bought an umbrella from them which has got a fiber leg and couldn’t be repaired from anywhere. When I called them the kottayam team was teaching and arguing on the use of the same!!! What a shameless brand @@@@!!!! Damn 799rs…u get a local umbrella which last for 3 years that too for 300rs!!

If you want to get all your sports need from a single place decathalon is the place to go. The only downside is there is nothing more to choose from, very limited options are available. But the best part is you get at least 2 years warranty for most of the products.

Very good place to purchase sports goods. I went to purchase a goggles and ear plug. But unfortunately single pair ear plug was not available. Ear plug of all size in a single pack is not useful. Each person needs only their size. I was forced to buy sets with different sizes of pluggs. Staff is friendly and helpful

From different types of clothes gym wears and sports wears to accessories, cycles and gears.. all sports equipments.. workout equipments... u name it and its available here. The materials are of good quality and the prices feel very reasonable as well.. i think they also provide training and facilities for playing They have ample parking space

Huge shopping hall with every basic utility for every sport can be found here. Prices are reasonable or cheap. All the products are above average but nothing exceptional. The category of utilities include from basketball, football, cycling, free weight( limited items), cricket, baseball, volleyball, swimming, running, tennis, shuttle, darts, archery to mountain and forest utility. Recommended only for beginners, kids or amateurs. Side note: The cashier woman was very kind and friendly.

Great place to go shopping for all things linked with sports and physical education activity. It is a large shop with lots of items for many of the sports, some of them include football shoes and balls for football, gym equipment for personal workout and sports wear, trainers for running and walking to name a few. I haven't been to a sports dedicated shop like this and there is no other shop that comes to mind near this area, it was a great visit, perfect for sports things and I definitely will be back.

This showroom of Decathlon has every sports items you can get. It is a very spacious place. Every item is sorted and kept very well. Prices are below MRP. There is a limited selection of brands but to make up for that, they have a wide variety of items. Every item is of top quality. Trials are available. Each section of sports is marked and the prices are also printed. The prices are a bit high but for the quality they provide, it's worth every penny. Staff is very cooperative and they know their way around. You can approach them for any doubts.
