I went here with high expectations reading the Google reviews but I think the expectation was very high. The restaurant is easy to locate as its near the road and the gates are wide open. The main course takes some time so better to get some starters. The food was delicious. Now you might be wondering why only 3 star then? I felt that the dishes are overpriced and the quantity is very less for the price. Apart from that I had a really good time with my family here.

Decent food, nothing amazing per se. Service was very slow, seems quite understaffed. Polite staff definitely, but because of the lack of staff, food was served very slowly. Food tasted decent and was okay overall. Good options in the menu, desserts were good. Certain improvements in overall flavors and service and I think they could be a great place!

Highlights: The restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance, and while the food was decent, it did not stand out as exceptional. Shortcomings: Unfortunately, the value for money fell short of expectations, and the service was quite disappointing. Service Issues: We had reserved a table for five people but were initially provided with only three plates. Multiple requests were necessary to obtain additional plates, as well as spoons, forks, and tissues. Food Assessment: The 3500₹ seafood platter did not live up to its price; it felt like a waste of money. However, the brisket and pasta were satisfactory. The mojito drinks, on the other hand, were disappointing. Recommendation: Based on my experience, I do not recommend this restaurant.

A Portuguese Cuisine! pork Sandwich, fries with chicken, smoked chicken are good to try! Apple Martini was good! Japanese cheesecake was good! Each order takes time ! Its better to order well in advance! Must try place!

Well, one of those dull evenings that turned out spectacular! The excitement is just inexpressible.❤ On arrival, everything about this cafe felt unique and special. For a moment or two, I felt carried away lost in thought as the ambience and the vibes of this place took me far off from the mainstream buzz and rush of kochi away into a more calm, serene and pleasant location with a certain charm of its own.🤩 This cafe is well lit, has a certain distinctive theme with fine decor and ambient seating for quite a mob. Considering the ongoing pandemic, it's a blessing that they are takeout friendly and also provide adequate dining facilities with special emphasis on sanitation measures and hygiene. The hospitality by the staff was just phenomenal. They kept us pampered throughout and answered all our queries regarding the menu with utmost patience. They were very eager to help us in picking out the right dishes and even put out their suggestions based on our needs. The menu is well spread which mainly encircles around authentic Portuguese dishes which is not so familiar in the state but is certainly worth a try. Although, it might be a tad expensive and runs into the fine diner territory, I would rightly say, that the price is justified for these guys know what they are truly doing. Hands down, it was perhaps the best pork that I've had a restaurant in the recent times as everything from the preparation to the quality of the meet was outstanding.👍🏻 The prego was a wonderful Item in the menu and the bread was just too soft and fluffy which brought in an extra tinge of goodness to complement the already well done meat. The chicken wings are another must try item in the menu and it is yet another perfect example of how good meat and the right flavors can stimulate your taste buds to their climax🙌🏻 We had ended the day with their sticky toffee pudding which was again excellent. I was told that their donuts also are one of the best out there and I would definitely come back for those pork ribs and the donuts. Overall, I would recommend this place to all the passionate foodies and for all those who'd want to spend a good evening at a cafe and walk back home with a sheer satisfaction of having rightfully spent every penny, then this is a must try. It's a sure no brainer, and trust me you won't be disappointed. Will come back here all along for its charm and for the lovely food. Kudos team.❤

Loved the pork dish that we tried. Beef brisket and chicken wings were also good. Went again for 2nd time. This time tried pork ribs vodka flambe and pork belly.so good It's very expensive, but so good.

I have always wanted to experience this cafe. And Rocha's cafe has impressed me. The location is perfect, with all the greenery and the ambience. I had the crave for Steak that day. Rocha's served well! The quality of the Chicken, the BBQ sauce had just the right touch of flavour to it. Everyone must try this cafe.

Really nice ambience (greenery and homey vibes), indoor and outdoor seating, limited car parking space (come in a small car), diverse menu, good mocktails, exciting selection of desserts. Definitely try the Espetada (could be spicy for most people), Teriyaki bowl & the steaks. The Smoked Chicken was really good too. I want to try the Pork Ribs and Seafood dishes the next time. Prices are definitely high and the waiting time is long, but more often than not, it is worth it.

Let me start with the negatives. The food is expensive. The portion of the Caesar salad was disappointing. Expected more for the price; both in terms of quantity and taste. The Brisket , on the other hand was worth every penny. Loved it so much so that I will return just for the brisket. The drinks too had a nice little punch to them. The ambience is worth it

Just 2 words Yumm Yumm 🤤 We ordered white sauce pasta and smoked chicken prego with capuccino and ginger tea. I really loved the prego bread it was so light and melts in the mouth. I could have had it alone with just some butter.

Location & Ambience: Easy to reach location. Entry and exit is through different gates, So they can easily accommodate upto ~10 cars. They have decorated the place well. We took the outdoor seating because of the ambience. Food: We ordered Mixed Grill platter. Food was good. Especially the brisket. Quantity of the items needs to improve since the price of each item is on the higher side.

We had arranged a team gathering here and I must say the informal event went by without a hitch. The owner and staff is very accommodating and caring. The ambience is really great surrounded by beautiful fresh plants. The menu is offers an array of portugese and western dishes. Options for vegetarians are limited and ones that were available could be improved upon. But the non vegetarian options were very tasty and worth the price. The highlight was the sticky toffee pudding which was so delicious. The hot chocolate was also amazing. All in all a great experience. Would definitely visit again with friends and family.

Marvelous, outstanding ambiance. It is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Kochi and the only Portuguese restaurant in Kerala. There are many dishes available here that are not familiar to Keralites and This is definitely a restaurant to visit.

The place has great ambiance, filled with plants and breeze. The staff is very friendly and nice. The doughnuts (when served right after it's baked) is a delight. The food-portion for the prize, not worth it. The drinks are way to expensive. The taste is pretty average, nothing that truly stands out. Vegetarians have limited options. The food does not seem healthy. Not completely Portuguese cuisine.

Quaint little place is the phrase that i will use. In the age of larger is better chain eating places this place is refreshing. Appears to be a family run business. Different seating options inside and outside. (I have sat outside a couple of times for breakfast during monsoon, and i loved it) The food is excellent. Only disappointment in the menu was lack of soups and limited starter options. Few of the menu items need you to call in advance and book them, like Brisket

See the place is good. And the food is very tasty. But I do have complaints about the seating positions... Believe me it is really uncomfortable. Another issue of this place is air condition is not working perfectly. For a big room they have installed a low capacity A/C.. see when you are paying a premium amount the owners need to think about these.....

The food is extremely good, but beware of the waiting time once u order..... literally stayed for an hour to get our order after the starters. But still giving 4 stars because the food is really really good. We had starters, main course and drinks and dessert and everything was absolutely amazing. The waiting period seemed less painful thanks to the amazing food.

It's a little Portugese restaurant run by a family. Lovely ambience and decor. Pretty much everything on the menu is western cuisine. Food is well prepared, but for the cost we felt the quantity was less. Otherwise, overall the experience was good. They have limited parking inside and they do have a very well maintained garden.

We had shrimp salad, chiken steak, and hot chocolate. Food was nice, but its expensive for two. Didn't find anything unique when it comes to taste. The atmosphere is nice and run by nice people..

The best grill house with authentic fresh taste. Good ambience service and hospitality. Price is comparatively highly but it's fair for the food quality.

I tried one beef brisket sandwich and pork vindaloo, i really liked it. The only issue that i felt was with the payment. Despite being a premium cafe and also they even had a pos machine, they refused to accept credit card stating some back charges. I don’t find it reasonable for a cafe of this range to do so.

Try out their freshly made donuts especially the filled ones. Highly recommended.

They offer several Portuguese cuisine inspired dishes. Good interiors and exterior. About the dishes, I didn’t find any peculiarity. Tried steak and shake. Quality of meat was good though. Good hospitality. They don’t accept cards, so pay in cash / UPI

They have really tasty filled donuts. I brought their assorted pack of 6 donuts, you can choose the flavours. They are best when freshly made and definitely worth the price.

Rochas isn't just a cafe. It's an emotion. An extremely passionate one at that. Kudos to the effort that goes behind preparing only the greatest recipies with the utmost care every single day, maintaining the quality and taste. This is one cafe I would take anyone of my friends or family anytime with full confidence. The food is beyond great. It is prepared with the utmost passion and dedication. That reflects in every morsel you put in your mouth from here. Every tiny bite is filled with goodness and freshness. I cannot speak more highly of their service. It was such a memorable experience. Even though Rochas has established itself in the last 4 years, this was my first time there and they did not only not disappoint me, they truly overwhelmed the foodie in me. Rochas is a true example of how food is supposed to fill not just your tummies but your hearts as well!!

There's something magical about this place that makes coming here worthwhile. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the lady who runs the place is very sweet. This place has a large selection of authentic Portuguese dishes and other options as well. Please don't forget to try their Pomagranate Martini

Our friend in Kochi was much excited to take us to her favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood - Rochas Portuguese Grill House. Though treading cautiously, the excitement rubbed on to us and the place didn't disappoint either! It was decorated for Christmas, so the vibes were joyous. We ordered Chicken Espetada, Honey BBQ Wings and Fish Steak. All dishes came in satiating portions. Chicken Espetada was as scrumptious and succulent as it gets, with juices dripping down the skewers onto the rice below. The taste still lingers in my mouth. Honey BBQ Wings - best BBQ sauce that I've ever tasted, wings were perfectly roasted and sides were well prepared too. Fish Steak - ranked the last amongst the dishes we tried but by no means was it not likeable. With the right amount of spice, the broth added to its taste. Though we were full to the brim, we couldn't resist the urge to try their Decadence Cake and I'm glad we didn't. It was cherry on the top. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone, also because of the warmth with which the food was served. One of the best finds (of our friend, of course) 😁.

I went for an evening snack and ordered the beef pastrami. Excellent choice. The meat was tender and melting in the mouth. Lovely couple who runs the cafe. Had a nice chat with them. Also ordered their cinnamon roll and Japenese cheese cake. Loved it. Overall an expensive affair and not a disappointed at all.

Had the fries, it was good but would prefer lesser salt on it. Also had the cauliflower bites(kid didn’t eat as it was spicy ) Pasta taste was good but the pasta was little undercooked.. The service takes forever. If you ask for water they would finish cleaning the tables and then bring it forth. It’s the same if we order anything more, they take their sweet time to place the order n then bring it.. For the money we pay, would prefer if they had hired couple more servers.

Interesting little cafe, they have quite a different offering on their menu. Mostly dishes of Portuguese origin, kudos to the place for the authenticity they maintain. Food takes some prep time so that means more wait time for the customer and some may find the quantities are small for the pricing. We felt this about the roast beef prego sandwich, other dishes were appropriately priced. Expect to be disappointed if you’re looking for vibrant flavours. This is a place for those who enjoy slow cooked meats and are open to experiencing new cuisines. It’s better to pre-Order slow cooked meats on the menu. Overall, 4 stars for pleasant service staff and great tasting food.

The food is good and different from the choices that you would get else in the nearby locality hence 4 stars. Probably would have to go to fort kochi to get something similar. Overall experience otherwise i would give only 3. Price per item is on the expensive side. Either improve the quantity or reduce the price. Staff is well mannered but i think its the owners themselves who oversee the work hence it takes time to be delivered. They make it on order. So if you reserve, pre-order and then the exp would be much different. Definitely sides could improve. Overall its decent in terms of tidiness but if its painted and cleaned overall ambience would be much better
