The homestay where you can't stay in your vacation. Visited here with 3 kids (2 are 1.5yr old & 1 is 3yr old). No one here bother about what your kids want to eat, you should forcefully feed them what they cook. When we asked the same they said that usually people will carry their own food for kids. Even for adults they won't ask what we want, we need to eat what they cook. The food is not hot too. When we asked for the menu of the breakfast at night, the person who is the caretaker there said that he don't know. They won't serve water in the dining area, when we ask they say that it is chargeable (Only 4 litres of water is complimentary it seems). Homestay owner don't even bother to welcome you and talk to you. They were too nice until they got 50% of advance payment. Utterly disappointed with their service.

Little difficult to find location. Service was very good. Even though we reached early for check-in time, they arranged rooms. Family friendly atmosphere. Well maintained washrooms. Good views in surrounding. No shops or restaurants in surrounding.

This place is full of Greenery and you can find yourself at nowhere once you reach here. This is nice weekend gateway and a warming stay one can enjoy. They will provide bonefire if it is not raining. You won't get internet here so better download your favourite playlist and go. Food is not that great, but they can prepare maggi of ask for. The service was good and people are very polite here.

Quaint, calm place to enjoy the nature. The hosts provided an estate tour and there's a early morning trek arranged upon request. Good food n courteous staff. Philip was a friendly guide to us during our stay.

It is a beautiful location to just be and, relax. We’ve stayed there twice within a years, once with a family of 10 and our dog. We enjoyed our stay both times and the owners and staff ensured we were well taken care of. Food was great on the whole. Bonfires are lovely there too.

We booked 'Gowdahalli Forest' homestay for my family for 4 days through 'Homestay Advisor' on Dec-2022 last week We booked the entire homestay. Overall my experience with 'Homestay Advisor' was very good, they helped me to identify the homestay based on my requirements & budget. Also they helped to get some discount from the final package. My entire family enjoyed our 4 days at 'Gowdahalli Forest', the service, food and facilities at the homestay was very good, There some good places (water stream:1km, falls:12kms, viewpoint:12kms, kids friendly trekking:10kms drive+4kms up-and0down trek) near to this homestay

Excellent place to relax and unwind. Away from city hustle bustle in serene place. It had 2 cottages with 2 separate rooms each and ample of the surrounding space to explore and offcourse coffee estate is right in front of you to walk around. Caretaker has been generous enough in their hospitality, and of course, with delicious malanad food prepared locally

Great place. Located in a remote estate with very good cottages at reasonable price. Dileep the care taker was of very much help and very friendly. Hospitality was also great.

A beautiful place, quiet , far from the madding crowd and noise of vehicles on roads. Service by Dileep and Deep and their employer is similar the best. Rooms are basic. (The razais could've done with some cleaning) Food was good. Dining area could be better serviced with plates, tumblers, spoons and forks. Drive to the place via Sakhleswar was rough, bumpy and on very poor hill roads. But, on the whole, good for families and couples. Pet friendly too.

Nice place amidst nature. Great in hospitality and very affordable. There are lot of activities just around the homestay. Do visit the place once for better experience.

Very nice homestay. Inbetween nature and peaceful. Many trekking places are near by. Guide dilip is really awesome person. He arranged whatever needed at whatever time! They have 2 big enough cottage and both separate from each other. Food was tasty. Price was very much reasonable. We asked for extra tents and they provided it for free, even didn’t charge for evening snacks. Recommended!

This place is just amazing. Dilip is very helpful and makes us feel at home, the place is amidst of the coffee plantation and is far away from hustle-bustle. A must stay place for city people. Owner is very helpful and friendly man. The best part is all these within the budget!

Amazing scenaries and warm hearted people. It was raining 🌧 all 3 days of our stay, so couldn't roam around much. But still, sitting in the front of our cabin and looking at the beauty of plush greenery offered by Mother nature and eating the delicious food(mostly non-veg), that was soo refreshing and peaceful 😋. Will recommend highly and it's definitely a gateway destination to get your stress bubble busted. Looking forward for the next visit. Excited !!

It’s a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there.Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner(Aunty).Staff was extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Uncle for being a nice host.

It was a nice property needs more hygiene. It's a beautiful place to visit of you are more than 5 people you will have a wonderful time there are no activites like games or anything but there is place for teck.. visit is worth.. Good is really good.

We stayed here for 2 days. Everything was funtastic. The service by Dilip is top notch. He would listen to all your needs at any point of time and does it with such humility. Jayanth is the cook and that person is so accommodative with the timings and prepares the food according to our time needs. Barbecue was excellent. Biryani was so authentic. The view from the homestay is filled with greenary and u can explore the coffee estate, paddy fields in the property. The cottage was very well maintained and hot water / electricity availability at all times. Overall one of the best places to spend some quality time with friends/ family. Completely cut off from the hustling metro life. Would recommend everyone to visit here to have a memorable experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , Food was homemade and delicious good place very close to nature. Environment around home stay and rooms were very clean and hygienic, Host and staffs were very friendly. Very affordable in price and worth the money. Overall my stay was pleasant and awesome
