Amazing hidden gem near khalapur Toll naka. One has to walk for half an hour as vehicle can reach to some construction site. After parking in open space one can start trekking to waterfall. During monsoon, waterfall flows in full swing, making a big pond at the base. Due to stones it's not that easy to get into it. One can along the stream to reach Madap waterfall.

A very beautiful waterfall, the approach is tricky but not difficult. A small water stream is to be crossed, vehicle can be parked upto the water stream, from there 20 mins walk through beside rice fields and a forest. Its a bliss once you reach beneath the fall

To reach : follow google maps till you get to madap. From highway you will turn inside madap village road till you reach a building complex ( paved road) Take left 200 meters before this gated complex. Into Kacha road till u pass a road on right ( u take left) move along water stream ; cross a bridge over water you should reach a place with water flowing (shallow) on ur right (kind of big opening to take ur car 🚗 but park and start walking 🚶‍♀️ If you miss the parking 🅿️ space you will move upwards to a hill . A sign that u have gone ahead. The walk is besides paddy fields and water streams and it’s at times very narrow. Most of the time 🕰️ 45 minutes you will hear water 💧 flow which means u r in right direction. The waterfall is currently (august 2023) very rapid & shall hit you hard if you stand below it. So adjust and be cautious There is water collected in front of the fall. Be very cautious when u enter. The best way to move towards the fall is in center. On the sides there are many rocks 🪨 No food and water will be available after you enter the turn inside the madap village Carry good trekking shoe 👞 water 💧 and snacks with you. There are no bathrooms for change. There is a food stall outside the turn of madap who books lunch and offers snacks. I just took poha and coffee from him. He is helpful and shall also provide you a guide Note 🗒️ there are a waterfalls. A group of 35 had entered with us who went in another direction and were to do rappelling. I couldn’t find that waterfall on the route I suggested. On a Sunday, when I visited between 12 ans 2 there was 1 group of 15 and me. I saw 5 6 people leaving the fall when I was moving in & and 10 odd moving in when I left. So it’s not crowded. Main reason being it’s only accessible by a vehicle 🚗 plus short trek. Not advised for people who cannot climb on rocky surfaces. And can’t walk 2 hours

Best waterfall I have ever been to...isolated..less crowded...kind of a private water fall where very less people visit...we get very close to nature here... must visit in monsoon.. no commercial shops at all... 2.5 hours drive from mumbai.. take khopoli exit after toll as for imagica.. carry some food and water...trek is small..difficult with kids to reach the water fall..as the last 200 metres is through the waterfall itself..

Extremely good place for waterfall lover, not easy to take pictures in mobile, you have to wear safety shoes. Don't wear sleepers. Do not take too much stuff while walking towards waterfall specially in rainy season. Happy journey 💜😅

Must visit waterfall😍 it's an Easy trek. One has to walk along rice fields. We were lucky that even being weekend there was no crowd and we had full waterfall to ourselves.

This water fall is located near Navi Mumbai. We travel from Mumbai to this waterfall in rainy season. I heard about this water fall from show many people so thought that we should go to this place . One day it was raining. Hence we thought it is the right time to go to this waterfall. The access to this water Falls be difficult as you will have to go through some narrow roads & beyond a point, you cannot take your car or bike and will have to trek a bit. The flow from the waterfall was huge. Hence we found it bit risky, but people from the village nearby were very comfortable as they come on daily basis. Overall, the beauty of the water fall was amazing and one should take a tea kettle and sit there, and enjoy tea. Must go once .

Isolated Waterfall, 86 KM from Thane, 1 hr trek from Mahad Village to reach waterfall, 25% Trek is alongside monsoon nallah/river, Only last 100 meter trek is difficult because of uneven rocky terrain. Children's above 7-8 years can trek easily. Must visit during Monsoon season. All those visiting the waterfall should keep it clean.

Amazing place to be at once it starts raining. A moderate trek through the Madap village, rice fields and rocks. You will be experiencing the green nature throughout the journey. Water is so chilled to refresh your souls. It was a great experience overall. Loved it. Please carry your water bottles and food wrappers while travelling back home. Keep the place clean and tidy to protect its beauty.
