It has all Chemistry, Biology, Physics, mathematics related high end instruments. Every thing is perfect,! I stayed at their guest house, the best! Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is a purely research based institute offering courses like bachelor's, masters and doctorate in science. These institutes have been started by the Central Government Of India under the Ministry Of Human Resource Development. There are 7 such institutes across the country and Pune's institute is one of the finest. They have a lovely campus spread across 100 acres with perfect ambience for research studies. Since it's inception in 2006 they have produced finest of Research Scientists in varied streams for the country. I've had the opportunity to work on a International Water Management Project lead by IISER and funded by European Union. It feels proud to have an institution of this stature in Poona City.

IISER Pune is a research-intensive teaching institute. Faculty and students investigate questions in science that lie beyond the boundaries of conventional thinking. The whole ambience is very academic. Member of Association of Indian Universities. Since inception, IISER Pune has published over 2000 research papers in highly reputed journals, of which several have come out of 5th year research projects of BS-MS students. IISER Pune has been ranked 23 in Overall category in the NIRF 2019 India Rankings.

Two different mess services, per meal basis payment. 2 campus stores for snacks and other stuff. Numerous tea stalls with a CCD. Cricket ground, badminton and volleyball courts, football ground, tennis courts, etc.

Nice place but student review is not good about this India's top Science Institute. On the other hand if I talk about the location and facilities , they are top lavel in my opinion.

This is the best place in India for taking science education and perceive research as a career. Campus is awesome. Hostel and mess is really fantastic. Indoor stadium, cricket ground, football ground are provided with upto date facilities. Smt. Indrani Balan Science Activity Center and Academic building are phenomenal. Entrance in the academic building is lovely. The research going inside the labs are incredible. The institute making proud to country.

Frequently attend seminars and workshops here. This is a top notch institute and facility, at par with renowned international institutes. All STEM subjects have extensive research laboratories and equipments. Most of the campus is open to general public as well, for events, sessions and meetups. Overall, a fascinating experience. It's so pleasing to know Pune has luckily got an IISER, which our country houses only 6 as of now.
