Best Japanese food and drink restaurant in Pune. I tried Buffet (cost of 3000) and it is the best buffet in Pune. If there was 6 or 7 stars I would have given it. The buffet is unique 7 course Japanese and every item is delicious and delicate. Buffet has a range of sushis, and rest of items served on table. Al a carte options are amazing. The design is very nice and feels like Japanese. Indoor and outdoor seating with music available.

Awesome & authentic place for the real Japanese cuisine. Every dish we ordered was amazingly perfect n tasty A must go destination if you are an Asian food lover But two stars down for the service as I visited here for my husband’s birthday & I had already requested them for a birthday arrangement but even after informing them, there wasn’t any… I had to ask the person on the counter for any of it so they said they could just offer a small cake that’s it, nothing else. Anyway I should be grateful for the delicious chocolate cake. I don’t know if had expected too much from them πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Otherwise the staff is so good & humble. The overall experience was nice about food. Would definitely visit again as me n my husband are Asian cuisine lovers! πŸ‘πŸ» Thank you.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Pune. They serve almost all varieties of Japanese cousin including sushi, ramen, tempura, soba etc. There are some options available for vegetarians too. Cheesecake in desert is must try. Have never tested something like this in India before. It literally melts in mouth!

Having had a fabulous dinner with my father at the Ritz rooftop Aasmana a couple of months earlier, I took my mother to Ukiyo for her birthday celebration. A more detailed review has been languishing in my drafts for many months, and I have several notes and photos, but neither the service nor the food were memorable or worth the effort I typically put into my reviews. So I'm going to save both you and me the effort of a long review and simply skip to the ratings after the note below: What stands out from the night is that they enquired beforehand whether it was a special occasion, and I informed them it was my mother's birthday, and then no one said or did anything about it. Aasmana, on the other hand, went the extra mile, with Chef Gagan presenting a special cake to my father that accommodated his dietary needs. Perhaps that was the exception, and the Ukiyo experience is the norm at the Ritz. - ANX SCORE CARD - Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambience: 4/5 VFM: 3/5 - VERDICT - Not a night we remember or bring up in conversation, except to remark how much better the experience at Aasmana was in every way. Squandered potential, unmet expectations. I haven't recommended Ukiyo to anyone, and I'm not keen on returning for another visit.

I took tofu carpaccio for starters, it was not very good, after that i got some vegan sushi, it was very good, my friend liked it better than the fish sushi. Then I got Japanese tofu curry and veg fried rice, it was pretty good. For drinks I got kanpeki, also pretty good.

We visited for Sunday brunch and were served by Mayank who was very courteous , polite and just made our time here very pleasant. We would like to thank Mayank very much. They have a huge spread available. The salad and the appetizers were good . We did not like the veg options at all except for the VEG BAKED PUFF which is a must try . We tasted all the mocktails included in the brunch and sorry to say that all of them were a tad disappointing. However I would like to point out that they were fixed to our taste immediately by the bartender. The dimsums are served all together and you lose touch as to what is what so i can't remember any names . The VEG dimsums again were NOT good at all. The non veg options were good. Among the mains we tried the sea bass with rice and chicken with udiyon noodles. Both the mains were delicious. The highlight was the chocolate mousse which was erect for my taste . Overall I had a pleasant experience and would definitely visit again.

Ok, so you want to impress your 'date' in a way that leaves them speechless, look no further. Uniqueness is what defines this restaurant. The cuisine, the drinks, the ambiance and the vibe! So, here is a breakdown of what you should expect, starting with the staff: Staff: I'd like to thank Newmai and Mayank/Manohar (can't fully recall the dude's name) for their service. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Being able to ready body language, they made sure the entire dining experience was ULTRA comfortable. Not sure about the Cocktail or the Food Item your planning to order, be it the taste/quantity/texture, they will help you out so that you choose something that you are sure you will enjoy! Food: Fresh ingredients, flavouful dishes and artistic presentation. They try to stay as close to authentic Japanese food, but, have a mild twist to it, so as to appeal to Indian taste buds. The menu has a huge range of food items to choose from, be it Sushi, Ramen, Tempura, Platters, Dim Sum, Robata! You will be spoilt for choice, but do not worry, you've got the Staff to help you choose. And the dessert, please try the baked Hokkaido flamed with Hibiki . Drinks: Please try the Ikigai, and the Shitake Old Fashioned! Artistically prepared! Gives you just the right amount of chill vibe. The bartender has his recommendation as well, do try that. I forgot the name of the recommendation, but, call up the bartender and ask for their recommendation if you are not able to choose. Ambiance and Vibe: 1st of all, the Ambiance is Instagram worthy. Any pics you take here are sure to drop some jaws. 2nd of all, the music does not get too loud, so, you're able to enjoy your company and the ambiance and music.

Excellent service, fair price, great food. Only thing that could have been better if the outdoor setting had little more lighting. Must visit restaurant in pune.

We ended up here due to a lapse in judgement by the Conrad’s service and what a fortunate mishap that was. Ukiyo exceeds all expectations. Lovely swank decor and great service, cocktails and overall vibe. Everything was fantastic, their signature cocktail is exceptional, and their bar program is super. The outdoor is developed well where we got a great breeze through dinner. All of our dishes were really well done and the fish is really fresh. The rolls we had were super, as well as the cooked dishes. Highly recommend Ukiyo. It’s an experience not to be missed while in Pune.

We tried the Omakase. It was a great experience. Chef chesta and Aditya were really exceptional and provided us with the best food experience. And lastly we ate the amazing waterchestnut dessert made by Chef Sourajit.

I had been looking forward to this visit a long time, especially since they opened during a time when I was abroad on a project and that visits have not been possible during the different Corona restrictions. Very attentive and professional staff, food was very good, even though I can easily list three other Japanese restaurants in Pune that offer better food. Nice ambience and a welcome addition to the Pune food scene.

I spent a special evening with my husband here. The service was amazing once we walked to the hotel. We ordered sake, sushi, sashimi and other dishes. The sashimi platter was so fresh. Food was really delicious and authentic. Perfect place for craving Japanese cuisine. We liked all the dish. Glad we chose indoor seat. It was quiet and nice atmosphere. Looking forward to visit Ukiyo again.

The food is good, for some. It can be not great for others. Overall it's decent the Sushi (Samurai roll) wasn't great. The rest from my order (kimchi and annoari chicken leg, pork ramen, kenpakki) was all pretty good

Hats off- The Perfect restaurant for Japanese cuisine in pune. Location- epic! The interiors is definitely Ritz quality. It's Ritz so luxury. The menu - very well curated, and the quality of food is outstanding, every dish mentioned in the menu seems to he well thought. Staff- thanks to siddhant (sorry if I got that wrong) and ritika's hospitality we were very comfortable with our orders, both explained us in detail about the ingredients and from where they source it. I could see they were really proud of their chefs and restaurant, which made me and my wife trust in their recommendations, and it was worth it. Cocktails- were perfectly done too, I think Ritz has great bartenders, could taste each and every ingredients mentioned in the menu and nothing over powered each other. Sushi- were super fresh, really tasty and could make out that the Wasabi was freshly made not those powdered ones. My new fav place for Sushi and cocktails. Definitely a but heavy on the pocket but it's worth the experience and effort the team put in through. Would recommend couples who are looking for quality time, taste and luxurious experience. 5 out of 5. Thanks for this experience, will be back soon. P.S: we were so immersed in the food and talks that I forgot to take photos, plus lighting wasnt perfect for food shots.

Amazing ambience, staff, and presentation of food 😍 The truffle and edamame dumplings were really good! Although the food isn't necessarily authentic Japanese, their twist is really good. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and tasty dinner. Of course, being at the Ritz also added to its glamor πŸ˜‰ I wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

Almost every dish we ordered was fault less. The nigiri was fresh and perfectly sized. The lobster dumplings were delectable. The cocktails were some of the best I've had in Pune. The service staff was so attentive yet discreet, very polite, and well versed with the menu to make great suggestions in case you are overwhelmed by the range. Desert was a slight let down, but they took on our feedback and I am looking forward to going back for round 2.

Location - Ritz Carlton- Pune, Airport Road. Welcome - We were greeted well by the host & were escorted to the table. Server - Our server was Brace. She was amazing. So much enthusiasm this lady had. Atmosphere- we selected the outdoor sitting. The atmosphere was crazy good. Good music good vibe. Food- The food was a big let down. Things didnt taste fresh & there was no precision which is expected from a high end Japanese restaurant. We were staying at the hotel & this was our not-so-good f&b experience. They seemed to be catering to more guests than the kitchen could handle i guess being a Saturday night. Bad for the kitchen, may be!

Every single veg dish and desert we had was fantastic. Taste, presentation, freshness of food was all perfect. We were served by Jayesh and Kushal, both of them were very knowledgeable about the dishes they recommended. The amazing training and personal character of both of them was clearly visible.
