A beautiful cruise ride in Guwahati which is like 15 mins from Police bazaar. There are 2 slots for the ride 1. Evening ride - from 5.30-6.30 pm. Per head is Rs 500/- per head and you can book online too. Better to take the upper deck as you will get amazing sunset view once the ride begins. 2. Dinner ride - from 7.30-9pm. Per head is Rs 1500/-(including welcome drink and food). Liquor is extra. They play music in the main deck where you can dance too. The food is nice and with such ambience you will love it. It was a first time and a great experience for me in the river cruise. I went to the dinner cruise and the arrangement of everything was just brilliant. From the moment we entered till we leave the cruise the experience was value for the money. The cruise was filled with entertainment programs and dinner buffet as well. So it's a must visit to feel and experience the Brahmaputra

Awesome experience for an hour. You can forget all and just enjoy the karoke and the DJ later. The tea and coffee offered as the welcome drink was good. Others ordered cold coffee (had to pay extra) and even that was as per the expectations. Enjoy!!

Excellent service that takes you for a cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Multiple options such as sunset cruise, dinner cruise and group bookings are available. The cruise boat has two decks for use. There's also an on board restaurant and bar. Karaoke and DJ music is played during the cruise. Ticket costs is Rs 450/350 for adult/child for the evening cruise. Bookings can be done online as well as offline. You must reach the location at least 30 min prior the start time. Cautions - First, the upper deck gets booked faster. Second, expect some delay in departure.

Amazing ride...and very spacious cruise. My 4yr kid enjoyed it very much. Music, snacks,view everything was just perfect.

Horrible experience. Complete loot of money and your time. The crew is extremely rude and unprofessional at best. Less than satisfactory experience. They locked us on the middle deck and refused to open to door for people asking to click pictures at the deck during the sunset because they started sail late than the specified time of 4.30 PM and the Sun had set by then. Nowhere did they mention this anywhere while boarding or on the tickets. What else are people coming here for if they don’t get to clock Pictures. No complimentary water also, a mere bottle costs Rs 60. A total loot

Best place to enjoy a sunset in a affordable price. Beautiful interior with good music. It costs 400/450 per head for a one hour tour and if you want to take food and drink then you need to pay Extra. But overall it's beautiful.

Well arranged with guaranteed table reservations. That said, one hour is not enough to do justice to the river. We did the sunset cruise. Do make sure to get there half an hour before your reservation time though. You do get to order food and drinks on the boat. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian options are there as well as alcohol. Restrooms are also available on the boat. That said, horrible coffee on the boat.

One of the experience must say breathtaking view of the mighty Brahmaputra....the cool breeze and the sunsets , the food and the music everything is amazing..a must visit for sure..you will surely love ur ride!! I prefer the evening one as u see the sunset and crossing the umananda ... Food is okay...price is high compared to quantity...but is tasty.. this is the time for visit as water is at low level and the music at the evening time is sure shot must event to be enjoyed!!

Though the food isn’t great, the cruise ride is definitely a must try if you’re visiting Guwahati for the first time. It gives you a beautiful view of the Brahmaputra river and the city at night and you’d be lucky if the weather is good !

The Alfresco grand , night cruise was a great experience, was expecting a smaller boat and an average experience, butvwas better than expected. Welcome drinks/ snacks inclusive in cost were good , there was a well stocked bar with Aircon to be paid as per orders. Nice cultural program and live singing, we opted for buffet dinner(extra cost) was ok. The roof deck gives a nice view of the banks..only down side weather was very hot and humid.

This is my all time favourite destination, I really enjoyed the evening sunset cruise as I got the opportunity to take many sunset pictures from the upper deck the cruise. I suggest to book the seats in advance, will attend the dinner cruise soon.

A must go cruise experience.. For sunsets you can go in evening and for dinner at nights.. Have a small stroll over brahmaputra with functioning restaurant and bar.

I went for the one hour sunset cruise and I was very disappointed with the cruise. We were asked to come at 4 pm when it starts at 5 pm. The cruise started after sundown. So it’s in the dark when one cannot see anything. Then some horrible Bollywood music is played loudly. Complete waste of time and money. The cruise should have started around 4 pm, then one can enjoy the sunset and the expanse of the Bhramaputra river too. Had green tea which was terrible. How can green tea be bad, I just don’t know. Attached is blank scenery that you can see. To top all this, we were also swamped with bugs.

I admit I was a little dubious at first when local friends recommended to me a dinner cruise, but I have to say I had a great evening. First off, there's a well stocked bar. Good start. The performances of folk musicians and dancers was very enjoyable and impressive. Hats off to those ladies and gents. The buffet dinner was very good too, a solid 7/10, would recommend. And the service was on point! Overall a great time, and excellent value for money. Don't hesitate as I may have.

It was totally a surprise when we boarded the cruise, full dance and Masti on Hindi songs sung by the local singers with ample food and beverages available and sunset was mesmerising, must visit when in guwahati

Took the sunset view and the visit was worth. Names are written on the tables and ae booked so there is no confusion. We got the top floor and hence the view was best and spectacular. Old Hindi songs.. a calm river and sunset, you can't ask for more. They have snacks and drinks on-board, which is freshly prepared. Worth visiting to take a break from the hustle and just sit back n relax.

There are many cruise rides on Brahmputra river at Guwahati but Alfresco is the best one. There are Sunset and Dinner cruises. We took Sunset cruise. Though we missed the amazing sunset view due to clouds, we enjoyed the ride with food, drink, music and dance.

A good place with refreshing view. They have a restaurant with affordable food items and various drinks inside the cruise and a splendid dance floor for the dancers. Though i booked the upper deck but i realised that the middle deck was better. Enjoy the view of Brahmaputra

Sun set view on Brahmaputra river from the upper deck of Alfresco Grand cruise liner is just spectacle. Staff will guide you to the table reserved for you. Snacks, drinks and anything served are good. It takes one hour for the sunset trip.

Outstanding. I booked a sunset cruise for an hour in the upper deck. The lower deck costs less but there's concert going on so it depends on you. If you want to party, book the lower deck and if you want to spend some peaceful time with family or your partner with great sunset view, book the upper deck. Upper deck cost 500 and lower deck cost 450 for the sunset cruise. Food is a bit expensive but that's understandable,

Good way to spent the evening over Brahmaputra River in guwahati. Alfresco offers 2 different cruise, one is sunset cruise (3-4) and other is dinner cruise (7-9). We went for a dinner cruise, the food is average, not worth the price(it cost 1500 per person). The entertainment provided on cruise is good, they showed Assamese traditional dance "Bihu", played traditional instruments. Overall a good experience.

Ticket price is on higher side.However for sunset view in mighty Brahmaputra,it is the best.

Absolutely worth it for Rs.1500. Nice place to spend evening with family and friends. The thing I found fascinating was promoting the local culture with Bihu Dance and all, absolutely beautiful. The food was also very tasty.
