After a long time visited Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station Platform #2. Nice experience. The platform cleanliness cannot be better than this. Nicely maintained. One Nandini outlet is there in the platform for snacks and drinks. The announcements and the passenger amenities are good. Outside the platform, road side, can be better. So messy with auto rickshaws, parking on the opposite side of the busy road. Nothing can be done on parking. May be foot over bridge with lift/escalator facility can make it big. The decoration out side the departure side (platform #1) is good and the parking facility is much better on this side.

I had a very bad experience there. I had no idea how to go to luggage delivery counter. I went to the ticket counter . There was the lady attendant was sitting I told her ' where is the luggage and parcel office' . She said pf 1 towards end . I even asked a police there where is the luggage counter . He directed me towards the platform. So I went there. There was a ticket inspector as if he was waiting for me to collect the fine. He asked me ticket please . I said I'm going to luggage counter as I need to drop off my bike I'm new here. He charged me 300 for ticket fine. Later the inspector said u should have come from outside. What a well laid plan. As if a fish got caught . I dont mind paying . I will happily pay if m wrong. But giving wrong direction is also wrong. Check the CCTV camera for evidence.

This Station is having only Four platforms and well maintained. Most of our guests who comes from Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi etc prefer get down this Station Since this station is just five minutes walk to Hotel Stay Inn

A heritage train station with its buildings and tracks that have a colonial history, it's exterior (entrance to platform #2, for Departures) has been painted with colorful images of Karnataka's heritage + other striking motifs. Looks good and very attractive. Fairly clean and well maintained station. Lots of vending shops and restaurants abound. Announcements and train departures are done on electronic displays. Parking is barely sufficient... attendants can be rude, so be cautious!

The general waiting room on platform 1 stinks of urine even as one walks past it.👃👃👃❌ Mr Mahendran at the Senior Booking counter understands their needs & is very helpful. 👍👏👏👏🙏 Ms Liji is new. Very helpful at the Seniors’ Reservation counter. 👍👏👏👏🙏

One of the worst experience in the Railway station Lady TC She is bleddy idiot Kannadika, Nonsense and uneducated I have ever seen. She illegal claiming charges and taking money. I request someone taking serious action on this Nonsense lady TC.

Oldest but .Platforms 1,2,3 and 1A are there.2 entrances are there.One to entry to 1st platform another entry to 2nd platform.Pay parking available at 2nd platform for 2 and 4wheelers.Check before going to staion for platform.Cleaned and well maintained.Autos pick up is available at 1st entry.Big display to see trians informaton is also there.Ola n uber cabs pick up usually at 1st platform.

Decent station with all required facilities. The only reason this place is getting a 5 star is because of a person named "Ramnath" Sir who helped us greatly in booking family tickets.... There should more people like him... Kind hearted and very helpful... None of the other booking agents were helpful... Give this man a raise!

Worst station , no display board available , dirty

The announcement in english of train arrival is wrong english. We always hear the announcer saying train arriving 'to' platform...it should be arriving 'at'...over a period of time no one will know which is correct english if this is not corrected. Will the railway authorities take note?

Please take the action for auto drivers, the auto driver asking more for meter 1.2 treble

It was a very bad experience for me as i was the first time visitor to this railway station. You have to take ticket to enter there even if you r not a passenger otherwise one hve to pay fine.. But its fine it could be a rule but the main thing is.. If some1 is there to collect and check the tickets.. Then thrre should be someone to give (guide)u d tickets before enter there. How can a new person konow that ther is such kind of a rule. What if they dont have money to pay fine of rs 350 each??! So it s the advice from me tgat plz put a big notice board infront of the main corridor mentioning all d rules and regulations specially dis one.. So that a new visitor or person come to know about dis. Nd dosnt suffer like us.. we were three nd paid rs350 each! 😑😑

Old fashioned station.fairly clean.The important thing to remember is that never take pre paid taxi from here. you will be charged thrice the actual fare. With no time The taxi vallas will come and encircle you. The vehicle all they have are dirty and scrap.Better take Uber or Ola from outside the gate.
