We had a very nice stay amidst the tea gardens . The management was very friendly and cordial. The place is very safe with tasty food which was served hot everytime we ordered it . One of the best place to stay to escape the hustle . Last but not the least ,the camp fire and the hospitality was exemplary.

We 6 of us including 1 kid visited during 7 th April to 10 th April. Excellent service by Raghu and team. The place is a stunning, one gets the panoramic view of the tea gardens, it also boasts of a temple inside the homestay. Food served is of top notch, the team takes care of your individual needs and serves with love. Highly recommended

It is strongly advised if you want to cherish the natural world. However, since this location is surrounded by hills and you cannot drive often to other locations, if you are going to visit numerous locations nearby, I would not suggest it. Pros: Nature with scenic surrounding, Cleanness Yummy Food courtesy of the crew Indoor & Outdoor games Tea plantation walk Cons: It is best to arrive before dusk because the journey is rather steep.

We had a great experience here at Shola gardens. Nested right in the midst of a tea estate your eyes will have the much needed green break if u r from the madness of a city. Raghu the manager was really cooperative and was always there to help us. He went out of the way to get us to the resort when we lost our way in the night. The trouble he and his subordinate Shiva took at the middle of the night when our vehicle got stuck is praise worthy. This place is easily accessible if u go by car and Google maps will take you right to the resort. If u go by a tempo traveller be extra careful as the roads gets narrow at some stretch on the way to resort. We went as group of 25 people and there are 6 rooms. Each room can easily accommodate a family of 4 or 5. There is also an outhouse at the entrance. Food was excellent no complaints here whatever we had was simply superb. If you tell them in advance they will ensure everything is made on time. Overall a very good experience. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a group outing with family or friends.

Horrible service by the cashier. Over charged me. The rooms were full of spiders. I was unable to sleep so I had to sit outside because of the spiders. When I informed the cashier about the spiders, he cancelled the room but didn't refund and quarreled with me.He overcharged me for the rooms also.

Loved the location it was away from the town so was very peaceful, nestled in the midst of tea gardens. The food was truly very tasty and like home food, not to mention quite reasonable too. The room was very basic but clean.

Shola gardens was amazing place for a perfect vacation. Kumar has been absolutely wonderful during the entire booking process and answering all our questions. Raghu, Shiva and team has been wonderful caretaker. They provided all the services with a smile on their face. Food was absolutely fantastic. We traveled with kids and elderly people and the entire staff was super considerate about their needs. It was very delightful experience.

Spent 3 days here for the new year’s. Around 18 of us rented out the place. The staffs were really good and helpful at all times they went extra mile to make us feel so good. The property owners had really turned the place into a fine stay. Food was outstanding. You could ask the staffs to take you around for a small trek. Party speakers, basket ball etc. were provided but it’s better to carry your own gaming/sports equipment. Rooms were neat and cosy. Ambience:5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness:5/5 Is it worth it ? Yes.

I was looking for a pet friendly place, because I was planning to travel with my two dogs. My dogs were safe from any other threats or dogs and enjoyed themselves thoroughly running through the tea estates. If you're looking for a place away from the crowds and noise in the twin, this is just the place for you to be lost amidst nature. The staff were very kind and obliging. The owner Mr. Raj was also very welcoming and very thoughtful and made the overall stay very comfortable. The food was also fresh and great. Had a memorable weekend.

Beautiful location. Amazing sunrise. Not super luxurious but great for family and friends. Recommend campfire and the Orisan chef's cooking. Some of the toys and games for the activities are broken.

A very beautiful and hospitable homestay located in an exotic location in the middle of a tea estate. Cozy rooms, good food menu available and exhilarating views. Owners stay at the property and are very welcoming. Avoid night driving to this place as it can be little risky. Overall u can plan a relaxing night stay at this place and head up to coonoor and ooty next day.

Nature/adventure lovers must try,! Road to the property is adventurous ride with some awesome views. Property has almost all the facilities you could ask for-from bonfire to basketball, it has it all. Food is good and hygienic. Middle of nowhere feel, amidst a tea estate! Host and the crew are very welcoming and courteous. Ample car parking space. Spacious and neat rooms. Pets allowed. And if at all u need internet, wifi and mobile network is good.

We had a big family vacation at Shola gardens and it was one of our best vacations. Thanks to Raghu for giving us a good deal. He gave us correct directions to the place. The food was amazing. I don't have words to express the taste and the quality of the food. Everyone in our family loved it. About the resort, the rooms were super clean. There are a lot of good hiking options around the resort. Also they have a lot of games for the kids. I will definitely recommend Shola gardens for anyone planning to stay in Kothagiri.

Excellent property. Amazing vicinity. Very friendly staff & service. Please ensure to call the person in-charge of property when you are a few miles away, especially if you are travelling by a large vehicle. They'll guide you to negotiate through a couple of narrow paths just a few 100 meters before the property.

When we go as a group of 20 people or more this is a very good place. The accommodation and property is good. Here are the good things 1. The dining place is very good for socializing. 2. The barbecue and bonfire arrangement is apt for groups 3. The greenery, tea plantation and the play areas are awesome for a get away vacation 4. The plantation of chow chow and owner's passionate maintenance is great Here are the not so good things about the place 1. The location is in the middle of hills. So, it is not cold. Doesn't feel like a hill station in the day time. It's little cold in the night. 2. The glass set up makes the place very hot and suffocating 3. Rooms are pretty closed. It feels like entering into a cave. So, claustrophobic people should be careful. 4. They won't give soaps, paste and any supplies until asked. Not a great hospitality from staff

A serene peaceful stay at the mist of nature. Around 10 min drive into the tea estate from kotagiri & around an hour from ooty. Well maintained property, courteous & friendly staff. Kids enjoyed activities like cycling, basketball, slides & swings, carrom, Music. Food was very good, home made finely tuned to the requisite. Rooms are average. Early morning trekking to tea estate is worth a try. As the Owner couple takes care of the guests/property, it still more adds a charm to the shola gardens.

Such a peaceful place for chilling with family and friends . We had been there with 4 families and everyone of us had a beautiful experience. Especially the home made food by the chef, hospitality by Siva and guidance by Ragu. Love to stay there everytime we visit.

Food is costly and quantity is way way less if family is like six . We paid 1000 per person for one day for five person totally 5000, they gave very less quantity. Menu wise lot less than pre-booking. We told them this but staff are ready to help but owner is money minded not service to money minded. Staff are good people. And not many indoor activities.just set in remote place. Not good weather at this time. Try fuschia and other resorts with wonderful day weather.

This place will definitely make you feel like you have teleported in to some other country. The Panoramic view you get from the lobby is truly mesmerising. Their hospitality is great and they have very kind staffs. Food is very homely and tasty . Rooms are very clean and they have taken good safety measures for covid. Overall it was a great experience. Looking forward to visit again soon

Pros: Awesome stay to reset routine life; the place is situated admist tea estate. Well maintained, and the staffs are polite and friendly. Cons: Price are at the higher side. They charge around 2K per person/night, which doesn't include food/beverages/campfire (no complementary breakfast also). Food and juices are also overpriced. Note: The high ceiling building with chandelier is the owner's property. Don't fall for it 😀 Final Verdict - Will I suggest this place to my friends ? - 👎 No

Great place to relax and to be at peace. The room service is efficient and neat. No need to worry about food. An awesome place for group tour, not that it doesn't help if you don't have a gang. Wholesome experience. :)
