Great safari experience. We got a chance to see a tiger. Our guide and driver were really amazing. Patience and their knowledge was definitely a plus point. Was fun.

Safari at Pench is a wonderful journey through various types of plantations and amongst different noises of birds, monkeys, deer's etc. The park is not too crowded with jeeps and is quite silent. The sightings of elusive tigers is good in the morning safari from sillari gate. Try for sillari gate for best sightings. Tigers, Monkeys, and Sambhars...Oh My! Safaris in this protected National Park are very enjoyable! Best to stay at the MTDC SILLARI RESORTS and organize the visit through them. You'll be thankful for the cushy seats, hot water bottles, friendly naturalist guide they provide. Morning game drives start early so you can catch the jungle as it starts to wake up - prime tiger time. Afternoon drives are great for photographing the layers of the forest. Bring a good camera if you're into that! The video cam was fun, too. Our guide from safari ,he rocked it out! We had 1 tiger sightings during our 1 day stay and learned a ton about India, wildlife and beyond.

Also here is variety of jungle with beautiful scenic Totladoha dam back water where there are very much chances to find a tiger.

This place was highly underrated we went last minute for an evening Safari and had a very professional welcome. Its not as expensive as Touria Gate and a better experience over all.

Sillari Gate is most famous gate if you wish to visit Pench National Park in Maharashtra. Most animals and birds sighting happen in the park through this gate and this also covers Ambakhori Temple and Totladoh dam as a part of forest safari. Earlier this road was a way to reach Ambakhori Temple and Totladoh dam but now public or private transport is not allowed to visit these 2 locations as these come under Pench Forest Department. Although people can visit Ambakhori Temple on the day of Mahashivratri which is allowed by Maharashtra Govt. This gate is located about 1.3 kms from Amaltas Resort and 750 ms from MTDC Sillari Resort.

To my surprise, Pench Sillari Gate is one of the best place to see a tiger. You can book tickets easily and the forest is also beautiful. We saw two different male tigers (T85 & T58-Trishul), Indian Gaur, Sambhar, Spotted Deer Jackal, Peacock and many more. Places to stay : Olive Resort > Srushti Jungle Homes > Amaltas.

One of the less explored yet amazing part of Pench tiger reserve, Maharashtra. Sillari offers some beautiful teak forest under the backdrop of Totladoh reservoir. This zone will leave you crave for more. A must visit destination for wildlife after Turia gate.

Great core safari zone for spotting wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot a leopard. There has been frequent reports of tiger spotting as well. Ensure you book your safari online and in advance.

I had a good experience- its peaceful and altogether different experience 3 hour gypsy ride through jungle watching wild animals, We spotted leopard, tiger, deer(lot of species), lot of cute birds, wild pig, Indian bison...etc Guides and drivers are knowledgeable people and these drivers has a good communication system to notify others if they spot some animals. It's a good one time experience ☺️

Believe me when I say this. This is an okayish gate. Bookings are readily available. Decent enough for beginners just visiting for sole purpose of experiencing the jungle environment. However, avid photographers must avoid this gate and opt for Rukhad (if you want to spot tigers) or Turia (scenic beauty and wide range of fauna especially leopards). Overall a satisfactory experience.
