Beautiful hidden gem inside lush green forest. Easy trekking of around 20-25 mins within the forest which is a great experience in itself. The water is freezing cold due to the lovely lush forest covering the falls area. Do get your own food if possible but carry light and no plastic please

Worth visiting it. We had to walk a lot after we parked the bikes and had to walk but after walking we felt so relaxed . Water is the same like ice falling. This is next Switzerland of India. 10 stars for the water falls. A much recommended place to chill out with friends. Water is sometimes deep need to take care.

Seetha Falls is a stunning waterfall located in Udupi, a coastal city in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The waterfall is located in a dense forest area, and the surrounding natural beauty is truly breathtaking. To reach Seetha Falls, one has to trek through a small forest trail, which is a pleasant experience in itself. The trail is not too difficult, and the journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. As you approach the waterfall, you can hear the sound of the gushing water, which builds up excitement and anticipation. Once you reach the waterfall, you are greeted with a spectacular sight. The waterfall is not very tall, but the water flows down in a wide stream, creating a beautiful curtain of water. The water is crystal clear and refreshing, and you can take a dip in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. The area around the waterfall is well maintained, and there are a few benches where you can sit and relax. There are also a few small shops selling snacks and refreshments. Overall, Seetha Falls is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The trek to the waterfall is not too strenuous, and the beauty of the waterfall and its surroundings is truly mesmerizing.

Check post on an entry of kudlu theertha. They keep a count on the number of plastics and bottles you carry in to assure plastic free and a clean surroundings and you have to deposit a small amount based on the count, which will be refunded once they verify the same number of covers. About ₹10per plastic and ₹50 per adult for an entry of an adult. Although they overprice the camera entry about ₹200. It would have been better if they even keep a count on cigarettes as you can find a lot of them smoking everywhere. The road to the place are very bad and there are no roads in a few places. The entry time is 9am to 3pm and an hour extra for exit.

Nice place. Need to trek or climb steps for 1.5km.... Concrete roads construction are in progress. Parking is 50 rupee for 4 wheel and 100 rupee entry per person.DSLR charges are 350 rupees Avoid rainy season because of leeches... You can't spend time after 3PM,so visit early. It used to be empty now you will have 50 to 60 people at any given day....

Nice waterfall. The road to the fall is around 1.5 Km from the parking area. Be very careful of leech on the road. Avoid going there in monsoon as they might not allow because of more water.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I had visited some 20+ years ago, so wanted to go here. After reading recently posted review on this, I assumed it was open again, so went to see this waterfalls, but it was still closed (on September 29, 2022). As per officials, every year this place is closed for 4-5 months, starting from May/June until October. The route to this waterfall goes across the river (with no bridge) and because of the fear of flooding, this route is closed during monsoon. From my past memories, this place is must visit if you like some hiking. I will visit again and edit this.

This is a part of koodlutheertha falls. Here they provided parking space for the tourists vehicles, two wheeler and four wheeler. You need to buy entrance ticket to falls at this point and also to pay for vehicle parking. No plastic is allowed inside the falls area. Water bottle and juice bottle will be checked and empty bottle need to be brought back with security deposit money.

2km trunk inside the jungle crossing little small stream... finally you won't regret burning calories for the long treak after reaching beautiful falls
