They are a bunch of super active lovely gang of passionate trainers who will make you very comfortable before taking you to the actual dive. The training inside a big tank in their office is the place you will learn A B C of diving and the way they train you is ultra professional. For a zero knowledge guy like me, they were able to teach patiently by ignoring my mistakes. They will train you till the time you gain confidence. Now one can say that , they are paid for the safety training and hence they are bound to do. I don't agree with that statement as I think training and teaching are the acts of patience and these trainers are not commercial or money minded. You can see that from their passion for the job. Okay, now post the training, ideally one should be taken to the sea for the diving. But for my bad luck when I was in Pondicherry, looked like there was some ban on deep sea diving. So I am not sure that has been lifted now as I write the review. So they took me to an hour and half drive location where they arranged my diving in a quarry. Might sound strange but that was the story I was told during my trip. So I couldn't change their narrative. So my dream diving expedition with fishes and Corals, and marine life in an ocean ended with a real dive in a muddy, dirty, stone filled quarry :-( I can't blame them because I was told about this before training. But they did say that I can see fishes ... I didn't see many but one fish was sleeping 😌 what a disastrous ending :-) But I did enjoy the process and I liked the dedication of the trainers. Again after my 45 mint dive I travelled back to their office to take a bath in fresh water. I am uploading a few photos of their first floor. Bathrooms, lockers, gears , all were well maintained. They also gave a certificate that is valid for a year with the PADI logo. Meaning if I go for dive again within a year, there will not be any training. They uploaded my photos in that evening...as anticipated the training photos were more clear due to water clarity. The quarry diving photos were almost surrounded with mud without any aquatic flora and fauna :-) Later, my friends told me that the Quarry Diving was very costly, but as I did it for the first time and I didn't have the previous experience. So I paid the amount they demanded.

They are doing an amazing job. I did scuba diving with 3 of my cousins there. It was truly a wonderful experience. We had great times of our life as it was our first attempt. They took care of all the safety measures. They provided us pool training session before the actual dive where they taught us how to use all the gears and equipments also the sign language. Their facilities were quite friendly and upgraded. We reached the location by a ferry boat that was also all together a great experience. While we danced otw there, we had fruits and other snacks. After the dive they were really quick to share all the photos and videos with us. All together I can say it was a fantastic experience of my life. I’m definitely going to contact them in future for my further dives in and around INDIA. Great!!🤞

Good bunch of folks running a dive centre. No, they can't show you mantas, sharks and whales all the time because you are going to be diving very close to mainland in open waters! What they can do however, is show you a good time under the sun and in the water. Knowledgeable crew, good boats (would have liked them to be faster though) very well kept rental gear. Even though I was super lucky to get visibility for around 15-20m, my experience wasn't the best because I had expected a much longer dive, but my dive only lasted for 30 mins! 🙄 But that's okay because this industry depends on a lot of variables. I just wished that I would have been informed earlier so I wouldn't have expected so much. Nevertheless, 5-stars for the good day of diving I had. Cheers :)

The best place to experience scuba diving in India I would say. The staff members are good n friendly. The people who take training and diving in the ocean are also very supportive and make you have fun during the dive. Generally on the first day you will have a pool training session in their facility itself. It goes on for an hour. The second day is when you actually dive into the ocean. On the second you need to report at around 6:30am and then they arrange transportation from the office to the harbour where you need to board a small boat. This boat takes you 6kms away from the sea shore, so you can just chill until u reach the spot and have some light fruits on the way which they have in the boat. Now depending on the number of people and instructors, batch wise you will be sent for the Scuba dive at a 40ft depth lasting for approximately 30mins. It is absolutely beautiful, I unfortunately can't describe it, u can only experience some things. After the beautiful experience, you are back on the shore and back to the office. You can collect your certificates here and also the link for all your photos. This is the whole thing, highly recommend everyone to try it when u r visiting Pondicherry, the best part is u don't need to know swimming.

I visited Pondicherry on my first solo trip! This time I was anxious and flabbergasted! I did intend to complete an open water scuba diving certification with Temple Adventures that was one of the motives of my visit! The instructors and people here are one of the most coolest you’d ever meet. They don’t just limit to training you they help you overcome a lot of fears,anxiety and are really patient throughout. I’m so glad I chose to complete my open water certification with Temple Adventures. My first solo trip and the certification wouldn’t have been possible with a wonderfully welcoming team such as theirs! They genuinely care and are passionate about the work they do. It was an amazing experience!!!! I literally had to convince my friends for almost over a month for the scuba PADI diving and finally when they did it, they thanked me for the same and all thanks to Temple adventure for taking care of making such beautiful memories. Thanks to all the team out there for doing this great job. My non swimmer friends were the difficult ones to convince and they had fun was All I needed to hear. Being first timers to Scuba diving, we had a great time with Temple Adventures. The instructors made a genuine effort to train us and were patient enough to handle our emotions during the actual dive. We were a family group of 6 divers, aging from 11 to 45 years and the instructors handled all of us quite well. A definite try for anyone loving to get a glimpse of the underwater life.

It was a fantastic first time experience for my wife and me. Right from the training session to actually scuba diving into the ocean, the instructors were by our side ensuring safety at all times. Appreciate their kindness and patience in this regard. They gave us anti-sea sickness pill just before we left to the dive site. There's a coffee machine, safety lockers for bags(40L max)/valuables, shower rooms, changing rooms, parking available at their centre. They also provided fruits and snacks on the boat at diving site. As a compliment they provided a gift postcard, a QR vc card to scan & download pictures n videos. Yes fee-wise it is what it is, but you can always negotiate. I understand underwater photography is not an easy task, yet I feel that it'd be great and would make us even more happier if those moments captured includes some marine lives in the BG as much as possible.

Ayeeee 🤙 what an amazing time we had with the team. Came for boating to see the mangroves, and ended up having a swim in the open ocean! I'll definitely come back one day for a diving session. I went with TA Excursions (Travel branch of Temple Adventures) to Rashdoo (Maldives) as part of their dive trip in November 2022. Everything from the organization stage to the diving was perfect. We were given all the details properly for the trip and our questions were answered readily. The scuba diving was also well planned and very rewarding! We saw everything from sharks to Mantas. The stay and food was also great. Thanks to Puskar for this amazing trip! Can't wait to travel with TA Excursions again! :)

They are a great team, right from the beginning, coordination of slot booking to receiving pics/vedios all is 10/10. My trainer was so good, I dived twice and I was doing it for the first time... In mid of bay Bengal it was such gala experience that unable to find words. Prep talk by one of the divers before we actually dived made me so comfortable, my trainer and each involved staff a thanks to you for proving with the life time experience... Thanks TEAM Temple, if I was there in pondi would have gone further for professional diver certification for sure.

Did a 2 day discover scuba dive with Temple Adventures and I loved every bit of it. The trainers are so calm and collected and make you feel comfortable even if it’s your first time.

I had my first dive experience at Temple Adventures. I did the fun experience scuba dive! The boat ride from the harbour to the sea which took about 30-35 mins was really nice. We then stopped at a point where we were going to do our dive. The water looked clean from the outside but it wasn't the case when I went inside. The instructor was good. The water was a little dirty to be honest which makes a lot of difference when you're diving. The pictures taken were also not that great and very blur as the water was also not clean enough and the camera quality was cheap. The photographer did not do a good job on this. I had an okay experience! I was expecting clean waters but I was a little disappointed! I would not visit Temple Adventures again! Thank you :)

My first but won’t be the last underwater experience with Temple Adventure. They have a young energetic team of diving instructors in Pondicherry and they will make you feel comfortable and confidence using the diving equipments during the induction day in a big Indoor tank so no need to panic before diving into the ocean. We had an amazing experience while diving with temple at Maldives.The effort and the dedication that the team carried forward for a smooth dive trip made us super comfortable .Especially our instructor Pushkar , who taught us better techniques and corrected our basics like a full on support system.Starting from food to accommodation ,it was very good.We are super happy. Terrible experience! Not worth the Money and Time spent with these people... I definitely liked the under water experience. I will do it again at some other places, but not again with Temple adventures. I was super excited when I reached the office of Temple adventures. With so many staff moving around it felt like a lively place. So, I booked a slot for the next day. On Friday morning, I was at their office by 6.30 and we went into the sea on a boat by 7.30. 6 students including me, 5 instructors and the boat driver. Around 30 minutes after, we reached the diving site. The instructors asked 3 among us to get ready and went for the dive in a short while. The rest of us waited. Those who went for the dive came back after some time, started resting and I thought it's our turn now. But the team returned were all busy discussing about their dive and nothing happened. After a while, they started dressing again and went for the second dive. What??? It's almost 10 and still we 3 are waiting for the first dive. And it looks like nobody cares. It was awkward to tell one of the instructors that, I haven't had my dive yet. He told me to wait and at that point I came to know that 3 of the students who went for diving are there for a diving course and other 3 including me are for Discover Scuba Diving program. The guys joined for courses have 2 longer dives and they will be treated with priority. Those who register for the Starter program will have to waste a lot of time sitting there watching the guys doing courses. Maybe around 10.30 the instructor Sabari took me under water. The dive was quite an awesome experience. The water wasn't clear as advertised. Still, I enjoyed the dive. I don't know how much time I spent there or how deep I went, but it was good. At the same time I feel like it wasn't worth the Money I spent and most importantly my Time. The stand-offish instructors seemed unfriendly and were not of any help. Things which liked: 1. Office is well maintained. 2. Most of the staff dealing with the customers are cool. Things which I felt terrible: 1. The instructors treat the customers who register for the courses with high priority. There is nothing wrong in that. But the terrible part is they don't care for the students registered for the normal dive. This is performed like a ritual. 2. In a small boat, the instructors were like a separate team of super divers and were behaving like cheap movie actors. They were busy boasting about their diving adventures and didn't care for the people who were new to the sea. It could have been better if the instructors made an effort to talk with the new students and made us comfortable. 3. The profane language of the boat driver. He didn't tell anything bad to us, but the language he was using on phone and with his team was terrible to stand. 4. The instructor Sabari is a cool kid and did his job well. But I felt very unsafe to dive with a small kid who is 15 or 16 years old. Regards Ajay Anand

Just wow.... Instructors are really great people. I was terrified as soon I was back flipped into ocean but instructor made me feel calm. Instructors are always with you from the point you leave from center to coming back after after scuba diving. The scuba diving experience, along with the training center, was truly remarkable. Punctuality was a highlight, with everything running on time as promised. The instructors provided thorough briefings, preparing us for potential challenges. However, we anticipated a more extensive area with reefs and corals, but the diving space was somewhat restricted. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, particularly for someone diving for the first time. The visibility underwater was excellent, allowing us to observe a diverse range of marine species during the dive.
