This is where you should set you location and not Nelligudde Kere. A very beautiful place with road, footpath and water view all together. Visit during evening time for sunset. There is a huge tree under which vehicle can be parked. Not crowded. Local people sit around to chit chat and walk.

Beautiful place to catch the sunset and some eye-catching hills from the lake. Best for walking and spending some time near the lake away from the hustle of city life. Note: Every reviewer is telling not to follow the google maps, as it will take you through some farms and villages. But I will suggest to follow the google maps as the roads are beautiful and well maintained filled with greenery, farms and villages. While returning u can take the easy route for sure.

Hello all this is Rama Krishna and welcome to my reviews. Best place to spend time with nature on the weekends. I suggest going with your own vehicle is the best part. Place where you get free of cost to stress relief and peace

Nice location offering both sun rise and sun set views. A lake with hills in backdrop is a plus. Calm and less crowded.

A beautiful and quiet lake with stunning views. Very close to Bidadi and on the way to Manchanbele reservoir. Definitely a must stop for the picturesque views and the calm and peace of the surroundings. A good option for a Sunday morning drive from Bengaluru. Quick stop at A2B for breakfast, 20 mins here and then on to Manchanbele reservoir.

Just your regular lake park but why does it attract so many visitors? It's because of the 30 odd km drive you need to take from Bangalore to get to this place! Take the Mysore road (not the expressway!!), take a right at Bidadi and then it's a single road to this lake's view point where you can park your vehicles. A calm peaceful place where you can walk along the bunds and watch the reflection of the clouds on the clear water. As usual, please don't smoke there or litter the place.

Very pretty view point for early mornings and early evenings. Fantastic road leading in, no entry fee. You can swim in this lake. No snack points here - bring your own and please pick up your trash :)

Beautiful place to catch the sunset. Best for walking on the lake bridge and spending some time near the lake away from the city life. Note: Every reviewer is telling not to follow the google maps, as it will take you through some farms and villages. But I will suggest to follow the google maps as the roads are beautiful and well maintained filled with greenery, farms and villages. While returning u can take the easy route for sure. Also don't go on the Mysore Highway. #sunsetview

Nothing much to do. Can spend 30 min. Road is well built. The place is bit lonely. The water is bit dirty as the villagers use it for washing clothes. Can park your 4 wheeler.

Just 10 mins from bidadi, a good place to visit at morning or evening. The place is quite good just to chill around with friends and family, just a short trip. Best place for photography, Car and bike parking available. Next to Lake the road which connects to some village has a spectacular view - full of green, specially for bikers. Can go for a breakfast ride.

Having lush green areas this is of course a beautiful place to visit and take some amazing photographs. A huge lake bed having beautiful background of hills and forests this is of course a must visit plane for all those lake lovers. Just take your bike or car and after Bidadi in half an hour reach the point and enjoy the beautiful lake.

A short drive from Bangalore, hidden from the urban jungle. Drive through mangroves, villages, green fields, it's just amazing. On the Google maps, set location as Nelligudde Kere Reservoir view point and avoid other markings. There are two reservoirs, one is Manchanabele Dam and the other is Nelligudde Dam. When asking for directions ask specifically for Nelligudde otherwise the locals will assume it's the former. There are plenty of peacocks and variety of birds around this lake. Listen to their sounds carefully. Make sure you do not carry any eatables or plastic to this place. This place is naturally clean and hopefully it remains like that. The local farmers and people are very kind do respect them you will be surprised how they treat visitors.
