Service is good just people are not punctual, security guard is very good and responsible also ,will help you in all step They create some problem regarding address proof ,they only accept voter Id ,uprated passbook ,or any bill having your name , and strangely not accept driving license as address proof. For all who will carry cbse class 10 certificate as address proof plz get a micro xerox of that for easy process.

The office is in tarapur ...please i request whoever the person is to go alone because if there is anyone else present there with him then they make them keep waiting and there is no place to sit and it takes 2 hours to do everything... if you take someone along with you they won't allow him or her inside while you are there for 2 hours inside... the passport seva kendra in silchar is really slow and it takes a hell lot of time .make sure you take the appointment early morning so that you have enough time and take your photographs and 4 copy xerox of everything adhar and marksheet... and you have to wait outside till they call you inside so please go there whenever it is necessary..... please do not talk back rudely sincr the behavior of the organization is very rude it is obvious that you will talk back rudely but if you do so your passport might be delayed ...it is a very slow working center so please do not panic and answer everything properly...

Experience wasn't that good but was a mix of ups and downs. First of all it cancelled three of my previous appointments for no reason and the gap between two consecutive appointments on the website is always about a month. This means you can't get any appointment in less than a month. Further more it was mentioned in the first point of the appointment letter that the hard copy of the appointment letter wasn't required to be produced and the text message that was sent to the registered number was only required. But they didn't even abide by it and rather I had to get it printed from a outside shop after searching that shop on the Google map. They even couldn't provide me a printer do that I could print it there only instead of roaming outside in the scorching heat. Moreover I wish I could gift the receptionist some politeness. But after I went inside for the second time after having my hard copy of the appointment, I realised I was too naive to judge the man at the first site. He was an interesting man and just a bit loud. But apart from that he was really a nice and kind man. Just then I thought my work for the day is over he told me to go up. I thought I has to just submit my xerox copies there. But again I was wrong. He asked me to go down and there that would do my facial photoshoot and also make my finger print immortal ( in short photo and finger print would be taken). But where? I lost track of the people who were in front of me in the line. After wasting around some minutes writing about my experience there I went inside a room and asked where is the next step and they asked me to submit my xerox copy of the documents there and waited for my turn to come. Then they called my name and I was called in. I sit on a chair in front of a camera, a nice camera behind me was a white sheet just like they have in photo studio. I set my hair with my pocket comb prepared a fake smile on my face and got the shot for my passport. Then I began with giving finger prints first with thumbs then with the remaining fingers of the left hand and lastly the leftover fingers. They handled me a copy of my form. I took it and went upstairs again. The officer type person signed it. And he told I was done. In few minutes I received my acknowledgement message in my registered email ID.

This place is located at Silcher post office near G. C college, there is no waiting seat outside of seva Kendra, many of the people waiting for the go inside the office but untill batch no has come u should be waiting outside on standing up..... Authority should build some seat for sitting there...

staffs are very cooperative...but no proper seating arrangement available ..you have to stand outside before your name is called...overall everything was good....and if you have ADHAAR card and Class 10 certificate...no other documents is required...which is a very good thing...(p.s :- got my passport today i.e 12th september..applied 2ng August...that means just in 40 days or so i got my passport ...cheers ! It didn't take 2-3 months to get my passport..applied from silchar POPSK)

Employees are very good and helpful 😃♥️

The environment was crowded but still waited in the queue and finally got verified for the passport. The office staff were kind and generous too.
