Recently I visited the Wah Janaab located near Park Circus 7 point crossing. They are well known for their beef specialities. They serve Chicken and Beef items only. The Assorted Beef platter was well served with 4 different types of Kebabs. I really liked their Lahsuini Chicken Kebab, it was juicy with balanced garlic flavour. Had Chicken Samosa for the first time which I liked having with the green chutney. We also tried their Tandoori Chicken. For main course we had Zafrani Biryani and Kulchas. Ended our meal with the yummy Phirni. Though I don't eat beef my friends are quite amazed by their beef items.

According to many food bloggers, Wah Janab serves one of the best Beef items in Kolkata. Hence this place was on my wish list for long and I had big expectations from them. We took random dishes from their menu. Beef Makhni Kebab @ Rs.130 (5/5) --------------------------------------- Creamy, smoky and flavourful. I've never tried such soft beef in my life. Laccha paratha and this should be heavenly good. It definitely mates my expectations unfortunately that ended here. Beef Bhuna @ Rs.100 (2/5) ---------------------------------- I was thinking of thick rich black smoky gravy for bhuna but it came just opposite. Sweet and sour tomato-based gravy with 4 small pieces, didn't impress me much. Beef Biryani @ Rs.130 (2/5) ---------------------------------- Unlike the kebabs beef was undercooked, stiff and very chewy. Biryani rice was ordinary, not very spicy and resembled Kolkata style biryani. Potato was soft and well cooked. But I would prefer Zam Zam any day. Conclusion ---------------------- I tried variety of beef dishes that these people are famous for but except the kebabs nothing was worth the hype. Pricing is cheap, ambiance is so so, service is okay so you can give them a try but food quality will be on trial-and-error bases.

Good food and the price is the best. Unbelievable price to taste. Beef dishes are really good i dare say same of not better than zamzam. Biryani is good and is made using spices not adding just fragrances. Ribs is a special dish you have to request , pls try that. Nihari and naan is love.

Park Circus is known for various well-known restaurants completely dedicated to Mughlai Cuisine. Let’s add another name to that list. Just 2 minutes away from 7 point, Wah Janaab is a two storeyed restaurant popular for their Beef dishes. Wah Janaab celebrates Mughlai Cuisine with ace. From 3 pm to 3 am, you can visit and have some good food any time from this place. Though most of their dishes are based on Beef, they serve Chicken too. I visited Wah Janaab last Monday. The dishes which I tried are, β€’ Beef Platter β€’ Beef & Chicken Samosa β€’ Tandoori Chicken β€’ Murgh Lasooni Kebab β€’ Murgh Zafrani Biryani β€’ Beef Biryani β€’ Phirni The Beef Platter was quite delectable with 4 types of Beef Kebabs. The beef was quite soft and creamy. This is my first-time trying beef so I was a bit scared to try. But I can surely say that it was quite a good experience for a first timer like me. I really liked the Murgh Lasooni Kebab. The Beef Biryani was really good. And the Phirni was the perfect way to end that day. Do visit Wah Janaab if you are a beef lover, you will surely love this place. Thank you Wah Janaab for inviting me over.

One of the best beef kebab places in south kolkata. The place is very neat and clean. AC restaurant. Washroom is also clean. Very versatile beef menu. Beef kakori kebab, reshmi kebab, boti kebab, nihari, Zafrani biryani, Pasinda, chap are really one of the best and deliciouns and also very cheap. You can eat two types of kebabs under 200 only! The place is just before 7 point park circus on the left side. Parking should be done separately just behind the restaurant there is room for parking. Staffs are nice and polite.

Wah Janaab is wonderful! The shop, located at a stone's throw from Park Circus 7 point (and approx. 600 meters from Decathlon, Shakespeare Sarani), offers some toothsome kababs that you must try! *We tried Burra kabab, Boti Kabab, Makhni Kabab and each of them impressed our taste buds. The meat was very tender. [NOTE: They start serving kababs from 3 PM.] *The Zafrani biriyani was awesome. *The owner is very hospitable. *Prices are reasonable. #We found the Google map location of Wah Janaab slightly wrong. Highly recommend, will surely visit again!

Wah Janab Restaurant is truly a biryani haven, boasting the best in town. The aromatic blend of spices, tender meat, and flavorful rice makes their biryani an absolute delight for the taste buds. The restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods is evident in every bite. While the ambiance may not be overly extravagant, the star of the show – the biryani – more than makes up for it. For biryani enthusiasts, Wah Janab is a must-visit, delivering a satisfying and authentic culinary experience.

The outlet at Marza Ghalib St( Free school st), serves awesome authentic mughlai cuisine with the most delicate kabab platter. Hospitality adds like a cherry on the Cake. A restaurant one must go and experience. Pricing too is pocket friendly Rarely one finds a place where one is completely satisfied

Tried some Kadai Chicken. Worst ever experience. The food quality is disgraceful. The dish was kept in the fridge may be for the ages. Though the taste was usual, the food is not at all fresh. Better avoid the restaurant or eat at your own risk.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Recently visited this place and trust me, it was worth every penny. The ambiance was great. We had Mutton Chello Kebab. The kebabs were very juicy and tender, I couldn't stop drooling! The egg yolk was runny and just perfect. The rice portion had a nice fresh smell and all together it was magical in...

😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee. The fish kaviraji was satisfactory. Despite the fact that there is a no-smoking sign on the premises, I observed people smoking...
