This was an experience of a lifetime! Amrut is an amazing guide, knows all about the flora, fauna and the history of the place. It is so good to be a part of the Divar island journey and I 100% recommend it. Thank you Amrut sir, tour stories will stay with us forever. FYI we learned about gill net fishing & barrier net fishing! And saw alligators.

Loved the entire experience of unexplored Goa through this local family. They were so hospitable and friendly and knowledgeable about local history. I was in awe throughout. The views are mesmerizing, it was a really fun experience overall. Definitely a must do.

Fantastic experience. Peaceful, lots of birds. We even saw two crocs! Amrut the guide was very informative with great story-telling skills talking to us about the local life of the villagers working the nets, and cultivating paddy behind the mangroves.

Amrut kaka and Akshay are too good at what they do. Their boat is clean and extremely pleasant. Covered with a nice shade too. I have done trails with them where we spotted many birds as well as crocodiles on every trip. Wishing him all the best always ✨

Had a refreshing boat ride along the banks of the Mandovi river. Our gracious Boats Master Amrut, gave us an informative tour of the vicinity. His knowledge on the mangroves, crocodile nests, local ecosystem, local remedies, manos-sluice gates and khazans, took us to a Goa unknown to many. A ride on Yadon ki kashti, will truly be a memorable one, whether you have a group or are going solo. This experience is recommended to those who love nature, bird watching and relaxing. A unique waterfront visit for locals or visitors alike.

Amruth and Akshay took us on a boat ride and it was fabulous. They were knowledgeable and shared a lot about the mangroves, birds and the islands. Both of them are so passionate about their island that we enjoyed the trip more. Also they were friendly and helpful through the entire ride. Definitely worth going on this boat trip. Do try it.

Amusing, pleasant and delightful boat ride. We got to see the ecosystem and the different organisms existing in their natural habitat. We saw crocodiles, kingfishers, the different mangrooves and how they germinate. We were so happy that we got to see an otter. Also got to see the different islands and geography of the surrounding places. Overall very enjoyable and knowledgeable boat ride.

Where can I give 10 stars? This is no ordinary boat ride and the host makes sure you get a memorable experience which you will not forget for a lifetime. They are very hospitable and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the ride understanding the history and enjoying the breath taking views.

We are enjoyed a one hour boat ride. A was a bit expensive at 750pp. 500 would have a been a fare price. The boat is in good condition. The seats don’t have cushions so they are a bit hard. We saw some bluebirds, kingfisher, Brahmini Kite, stork, egrets, and a couple of crocodiles. The guide lives on Vaxim island so he has a good knowledge of the area and the history. The owner/operator of the boat speaks good English and Hindi.

I had a great time with Amruth! The boat was clean and maintained well. It had 8 seats but my group of 3 had the whole thing to ourselves. The ride was smooth and the area is gorgeous. We saw many species of birds as well as crocodiles and fish. We started at 5pm which was the perfect time to catch the sunset and beat the heat. Amruth was very knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna and history. He also shared anecdotes from his life on the island.

Had an amazing experience, you get to explore the mangrove island of Vanxim, Divar. You get to spot crocodiles sunbathing on the banks of the river, wide variety of sea and migratory birds. You will also get to learn about the history of the islands. Our hosts were fun and entertaining. 😁

We had a great time in this ride and the guide explained all the concepts about botany in this region. We had a chance to see one of the most beautiful scenery. We also so 4 alligators and it was just a good and fun time. Highly recommend it!!

A interesting boat ride around Vanxim island . Recommended to do it in morning at sunrise as you see lots of birds, jumping fish schools , crocodile etc . Amrut does a good job of telling you history & geography of the islands & spotting birds .

Amrut kaku is not your regular boatman. His knowledge on the flora and fauna of the land is commendable. Thoroughly enjoyed his company. He beautifully explained about the mangroves, birds that we saw during the ride and also shared stories from the yester years. We even saw one crocodile!! The gill fishing demonstration was really nice. A ride with him takes you to a side of Goa you never imagined existed. Truly a treat for nature lovers. His boat is very clean and is equipped with life jackets.

Loved spending time with Amruth (the host) , this is definitely one a kind experience. Amruth had a lot of information to share about plants , crocodiles , otters , fishing and much more. He is very engaging and knowledgeable. I am glad I took time to do this, would recommend anyone reading this to take time out to do this . I loveddd this experience, best one hour spent .

One one the best ride with nice and friendly boat owner Mr Amruth. This was not only the ride but with detailed explanation of the site . We could site crocodile and many birds which migrate from different countries. Thanks Amruth for the ride .

This boat ride got me to see the wonders that lies in the backdrop of vanxim island. And with the best companion it was indeed a delightful experience to witness. A must visit for every individual to experience and feel the vibes of locals traditional practices. Also, a picture of how the biodiversity plays a role in maintaining the ecology of a place. This was very insightful as well as fruitful as far as enjoyment is concerned. This Goa say boat ride is totally worth it. Especially, if you are looking to have different experience from that of your normal life.

The ride was amazing! when Goa comes to the average mind it's all drinks and party, however this boat ride was a heavenly ride that showed us that part of Goa that took our breath away. The breeze in your hair, the sunset that dips so beautifully! There's hardly enough words to describe the beauty. Akshay and his father are beautiful folks that had that eagar gleam in their eyes when they spoke about the island, the crocodiles, and their family history would highly recommend you get on the "yadoon ki kasti" when in Goa. ❤️

This was the best and amazing backwater experience you can get in Goa....it's a completely different side of Goa , very peaceful, serene and mild calming experience .....loved it and the host were also very friendly and enjoyed their company as well :) :)

Totally worth it, we spotted a crocodile!!! 😀. I insist you to take an evening slot as you can enjoy the beautiful colours of sunset, along with the crocodile/bird spotting.This gives a totally new experience of goa apart from the usual beaches,cafes and shacks.Please book a slot and enjoy the ride of around an hour.

Amazing boatride, super friendly host, lovely scenery, highly recommended👍 It was fun to see the cute crocodile😉, fishes jumping near the boat, bats screeching and different types of birds.

My in-laws and I spent a wonderful afternoon cruising through the backwaters of Goa. Mr. Amruth is a passionate guide with deep knowledge of the local ecosystem and local Goan culture. He kept us in good spirits with his positive attitude and fun trivia about local plants and animal life. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Goa.

This place is lovely. The boat ride was a calming experience, I went along with a couple of my friends. They had a good time too. This is my second visit. The 1st time, I visited this place we spotted a crocodile and we saw a lot of species of birds and of course, not to mention, the lovely scenic view.
