Amazing amalgamation of Goan & Portuguese culture, very elegant and sophisticated place, excellent music and food. Orlando is fabulously good with the Portuguese guitar. Sonia is brilliant with the Fado and Mando. She is interactive and involves the audience. Strongly recommended.

It was a super brainwave that I had when I thought of surprising my Father by celebrating his 90th birthday at Madragoa in January last year. Our hosts saw to it that we were made comfortable. The setting of the stage, makes one feel that he/she is in Portugal. The intricate and detailed art work is a must see. The show itself was spectacular and to the standard expected, considering that we the audience were being serenaded by the best in the industry! We thoroughly enjoyed the music and singing.... it was a real treat to hear Sonia Sirsat in person....as if she is singing just for you! After the show, the team at Madragoa organized to sing Happy Birthday to my Father and we even cut a cake! Both my parents were over the moon! They felt very special. My mother, a die hard Sonia Sirsat fan kept pinching herself, thinking it was all too good to be true! The evening ended with a serving of some tastefully selected and deliciously prepared home made snacks with a glass of Sangria! As we prepared to leave, we were given a small souvenir to remind us of the amazing evening we had. What a splendid way to celebrate! Cheers to Orlando and team at Madragoa. Wishing you the very best in your future endeavours. Felicidades! Viva!

What a delightful evening. The setting is cozy and immersive. Takes you to another time and place. Sonia is a master at her craft and Marlenes snacks during the short interval were delectable. Good to see a couple of youngsters participate in the second session and, of course, the guitarists were very accomplished. Will do this again

A lovely intimate setting akin to listening to a concert in a living room of another era. The home made delicacies served with warmth during the unterval another nice touch. Sonia Shirsat s voice is utterly unique with an extraordinary range. The combination of Portuguese and konkani songs made this the most special experience in Goa I have had. The musicians add a great deal to a memorable evening

At Madragoa, we truly had an enjoyable experience with lively Portuguese and Goan music, performed by popular Goan artists. The entertainment was accompanied by the Indo-Portuguese mouth watering delicacies. Thanks to the owner Sr Orlando Noronha and his team who made us feel at home and so comfortable. Highly recommended venue and a show not to be missed.

Attending a performance by Sonia Shirshat on the evening of March 18 was unlike any experience. Her soulful fados, accompanied by the haunting melodies of guitars and violin, the intimate casa and gorgeous interiors transported us to Lisbon and brought us back to Goa with moving mandos. Shirshat got the small crowd singing along, interpreted the songs and their historic import for us, and for me personally, along with the wonderful host Marlene Meneses who arranged the most delicious homemade snacks, made sure a first-time visitor like me felt welcome in Goa. I thank everyone at Madragoa and CIPA for an unforgettable experience. I hope to turn up again in the not so distant future.

This is one of the best things to do in Panjim if you are into culture and music. We visited in August and absolutely enjoyed. The artists are not just musicians and singers but also natural entertainers. You also get to eat delicious food and glance at many azulejos.

I’ve been here a few times The first was to order a Goan style nameplate for home The second was for a fado performance par excellence with snacks & sangria The third was for serenata with snacks & sangria All three times I was impressed. Orlando his wife and their team do a great job of entertaining and have wonderful performances.

One of the best experiences I have ever attended in Goa. This experience focuses on delivering Goa's Mando and Fado performances in the most authentic way possible to it's audience. Big Shoutout to Orlando for reviving this art and marketing it as a concept. Do not miss this, if you are a fan of art and music.
