One of the highest waterfall in karnataka. The best time to visit is only in rainy season as you can view heavy waterfall. It takes more around 2 hours to reach to view point. There are 1400 steps to be walked.

Being India's highest falls...it's absoltely eye-catching during monsoons.during rainy seasons, whole of the rock will be covered. It will be a treat for your eyes. Even the roads that lead you to jog is also awesome.no problem with food and others, everything will be available there

Nice place to visit during July-August. Paid parking facility available. The greenery around will make you relaxed and happy. Any vehicle will reach the location.Be careful, lot of pin bends and need to be careful. Lots of blood sucking leaches around. Also there are many monkeys. Paid washrooms available at the spot. Photography allowed. There are paid photographers around who will click photographs if needed. Food is not that great... I can rate it as average. Benches are available. View point is available. Sometimes they allow to go down stairways to get a good view from below...

Important information to all who are planning to visit Jog Falls. Please don't visit now since there is a construction work going on and you won't be able to enjoy the place. Absolutely it's a great place, but since there are some in progress activities wrt construction it's better not to visit. The authorities should have updated this hut unfortunately they didn't. I had been there and felt I should know this earlier. So just thought of putting my inputs here so that it's gonna help those who would like to visit.
