Waste of time and experience according to money, ac bus one person costs 700 rs for safari , zoo is seperate which is 100 rs each, not worth at all..

Nice place to experience jungle safari. The animals are held in large cages and we travel in to the cage via jeep or bus. Can see lion, tiger, elephants and deer upclose. Jeep would be the best since the animals would be at eye level and can get closer than bus. Seeing tiger and lion so close was a surreal experience. If you are used to safaris then may not be that interesting. Recommend buying tickets in advance for the 10 am safari + zoo + butterfly park combo; queues would be very long on weekends. Tickets would be sold out fast if it is a long weekend. Only qualm is the safari is only about 30 minutes. Safari, Butterfly park and zoo in Bannerghatta is the order in which you should plan to see animals and avoid crowd.

Recently I had the pleasure of exploring the Bannerghatta Biological Park, and it left a lasting impression on me. The park, nestled amidst lush greenery, offers a unique and immersive experience for nature lovers There are 3 ways to go into the park by non-ac and ac bus and the another one is Jeep cost more than above two options. And more thing anyone can purchase the ticket at online by visiting the Bannerghatta Biological Park site Overall the experience was very nice in the biological park

Awesome experience. Safari was good. Although you need to go in the mornings to see animals active. It's good to see them open in the wild. Kids and Adults will equally enjoy the safari and the zoo. Good for a day's picnic

Only the Safari is worth it because of the close encounters with the wild beasts. The zoo definitely needs a lot of maintenance. All Washrooms need attention as well. Most of the staff try to give you importance only intent to earn tips. They are very smart to choose customers who they believe will give tip. Weekend is a horrible time to visit the zoo due to crazy amount of crowds. Sad part most famous places in bangalore are super crowded on weekends. Personal opinion, Considering the huge amount they are making from the tickets and safari, they definitely need to upgrade infrastructure and more care towards the hygiene for the animals.

The jungle itself has always been very exciting and mysterious. However, most of the people would have imagined the forest only through TV and stories and there would be very few people who would have experienced the forest.

Lions, Tigers, Deers, Elephants, Bears etc were seen. Nice experience. Enjoyed.. But a bit of a high charge per person ticket (₹400/-)for non AC bus safari. Also the car parking area was not under their surveillance, our car was blocked in between four other cars and we waited a long time for them to arrive so that we could take ours!!!!The parking charge was ₹50/-!!!

Bannerghatta Zoo is truly exceptional! Among the finest zoos I've encountered, it's vast and captivating. The safari concept is brilliant, allowing up-close encounters with remarkable animals. White tigers stole my heart, and seeing animals in their spacious enclosures was a treat. A nerve-wracking yet incredible moment when a bear locked eyes with me, showcasing its unique features up close. Lions exuded majestic nonchalance, while the avian and reptilian residents added to the charm. An absolute recommendation for an awe-inspiring experience!

You don't have direct metro connectivity here. You can come here through Vajra Ac buses directly to this destination. It's better to purchase tickets online in advance as there will be lot of queue. You can either stroll around the zoo through walk or you have electrici vehicles where they pick and drop. You have safari too however since this is the first time, I had stroll by walking in the zoo. It's better to come by 9 Am as that is the time the animals be very active. You have all types of animals, lion is the most entertainment in the zoo. It would be better if you bring lunch and have meal. You will definitely enjoy the place here and it's must visit with your family in Bangalore. You have butterfly park beside the zoo and it's a must visit place too to not only see different butterflies but also will understand the life cycle of butterfly

Less exposure to animals since my last visit before Covid. Most of them are not available since my last visit. Not much enjoyed. Not chimpanzee and gorilla 🦍 available here. Bit bored. Ticket price also increased to 100 rupees.

Compared to last few years, cleanliness and maintenance of the Zoo has improved. Good place for animal lovers though there isn't any new additions in the recent past. Better to chose a weekday visit to avoid crowd.

September 2023: We went for a family trip with my uncle's family. We went for the safari which was very nice. This is one of the good attractions in Bangalore. We also went to the butterfly 🦋 park too. We did not see the zoo, which is part of the park. The place was neat for the number of people who had come that day. There is ample parking. The washrooms were neat. Overall a very happy experience with family.

We visited this place with family, Loved the place, animals, the safari rounds, butterfly park etc, we missed boating. I suggest people reading my comment either to visit on weekdays , or buying tickets online before hand.. if not you will waste your time standing for the ticket. It was over crowded. My 3 year kid enjoyed the butterfly park and the Zoo.

Nice place to visit on weekends with kids . Safari was good with non AC.( Ac is just waste of money since the weather is already chill). If your are going by group, it's good to take Jeep or car(little expensive)

I visited Bannerghatta National Park last weekend and I had a wonderful time. The park is located near Bangalore, Karnataka and covers an area of 260.51 km2. It has a variety of wildlife, including elephants, tigers, leopards, lions, bears, deer, monkeys, crocodiles and many more. I took the safari bus tour which took me through different sections of the park where I could see the animals in their natural habitats. The safari guide was very informative and friendly. He told us interesting facts about the animals and their behavior. I also visited the zoological garden, which has a butterfly park, a reptile park and an aquarium. I was amazed by the diversity and beauty of the butterflies and fish. The reptile park had some scary but fascinating snakes and lizards. The park also has some ancient temples that are worth visiting. The park is well maintained and clean. The staff are helpful and courteous. The entry fee is reasonable and the facilities are good. I would recommend this park to anyone who loves nature and wildlife. It is a great place to spend a day with family or friends.

You can go for safari in bus- AC and Non AC both available Rs. 350 around . 6-7 seater cars are available both AC and Non AC Rs. 3000- Rs. 5000 but it depends on availability of vehicle, they have time slot for them. For bus you have to stand on queue and for cars less waiting time. You can take package of Zoo + Safari + butterfly park or you can take tickets individually for them.

Other states need to learn the system and methods here. It's an affordable and nice option for people who want to go on a safari. You can also opt to go to the zoo with the safari ticket. For non ac bus the price is ₹350 per person. The slots can be selected in advance or you can buy the tickets there. Make sure to book your slots in advance if you're planning to visit on a weekend.

Bannergatta Biological Park is a natural wildlife sanctuary located in Bengaluru. It has a wide range of wildlife in its Zoo section ranging from elephant, tiger, hippo, zebra, giraffe, bear, wild dogs, fox, hyena, emu, ostrich, dear, blackbuck, and a large variety of birds. During weekends this place becomes center of attraction and a large crowd can be seen. The second section is Tiger, Lion safari. If you are a family of five/six members, can book a jeep/car exclusively for your own comfort. One can come across Tiger, Lion, spotted Dear roaming around and standing in front of your vehicle. If you see these wild animals on the road side then the safari is completed by half an hour . The total area of bannergatta Biological Park is approximately 740 hacters. The third section is the Butterfly park. One can see variety of Butterfly inside the park.

Very nice place to take your kids, not too far from city, crowded so recommend buying tickets in advance. However the park is maintained very well, food options limited so better bring your own food especially for small kids or babies.

Here's a corrected version of the paragraph: "The zoo is a must-visit place for families with children. It is well-maintained and offers a variety of attractions, including a safari that is definitely worth the cost. The cost of the safari is 400 per person in a bus, and 3600 for a 6-person jeep. On weekends, the cost is 3900. The guides at the zoo are very helpful and there are information boards on all the animals, which is a nice touch. The butterfly park is also amazing. It is best to visit the zoo in the morning as it takes a long time to cover the whole place."

Safari is very convenient of you book the ticket online and reach early. Zoo experience is not very exciting but the safari makes up for it. You can spot all animals while sitting comfortably inside bus or jeep whichever you choose. There are ample food and fruit stalls and little wooden toy and souvenir shops. Clean washrooms are also available at nominal charges. There is bus stop right in front of entrance and uber, ola, rapido were also readily available at the time I visited. A great experience for both kids and adults.

Best time is from mid june to November and look for safari 10 am slot to see animals as they come out for having their feed... Preferable is Non Ac bus.. as you can spot and see animals easily rather than car... Must visit zoo and butterfly park... complete safari 10 to 11 am... complete zoo 11 to 2 pm and take a break... from 3pm to 4 pm butterfly park would be a better plan...

Our experience at Bannerghatta was really enjoyable. However we felt annoyed to make cash payments at every booking stall. Apart from cash payments there were also card payments limited to only MasterCard. In these times where everyone makes UPI payments, no booking centre was accepting UPI payments. - Parking facility is good - Lots of eateries - Non-AC bus safari bookings will be more so the waiting. AC bus safari was decent - The area near the bus stop has a bad smell

The zoo was well maintained and the animals were in good condition. You can check out the safari as well. For both zoo and safari (non ac bus service) it took us 400 per person. We missed the butterfly park because of time constraints but that would have been an additional 50rs. The park was senior citizen friendly and had sitting stones at most of the palaces.

If you're planning to go on a weekday there is no need to Book the tickets online as the crowd will be less. On a weekend, book the tickets online as there will be huge que. You can cover the zoo in 30-45 min and the safari will be 30-45 min as well. In terms of food you will find a lot of snack shops and juice shops. The restaurants are average. There is lots of parking space and the bus facility is also available.
