Had the most amazing 4 days at this Beautiful Home Stay run by the kind and caring Manoj and his family. The place located in Kasar with lovely views of the mighty Himalayas and beauty all around. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Simple and Tasty food is served. And such a Beautiful Garden with colorful birds playing around. You have to experience this place. Words fall short to describe.

My soul thanked me for visiting here. Very peaceful place with wonderful views all around. You will feel connected to the nature. I loved the food as well. I have pinned it for regular trips.

An oasis of pristine natural beauty and peace! We heard only the sounds of nature and saw the beautiful peaks every morning 🙂The food was delicious, the service filled with kindness and love. We felt so well looked after and cared for by every person. It's a blessing to find such pockets of real goodness in our lives 🙏

Absolutely loved it! I stayed for three nights in this beautiful property in the lap of nature. Had excellent views, especially of the night sky during the full moon night. The property is run by Manoj bhai and his family who are extremely nice, wonderful hosts. The stay was very comfortable and everything was well taken care of. I would love to revisit or maybe volunteer for their plantation drive in the coming months or later in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stay or a physical and mental reset away from the crowd in nature.

The best place for stay till date for me. It is a stay among nature, within forests, away from the monotonous hustle bustle life. We took a 8 bedded room with 4 bunk beds. The rooms were neat, clean well maintained. The owner of this property is also very much co operative and helpful. I recommend this place to each and everyone who visits Almora.

It was amazing fun staying at this place for two nights. Went there for one night but landed up staying for one. Wish I could stay for a few more days. Owner Manoj is amazing person and makes everyone going their part of his family. His wife and team also doing great in making this place wonderful. People going there were also pretty chilled out. This place really felt like home in the middle of calming natural beauty.

Amazingly peaceful place situated on the side of a pine-studded hill with beautiful views of the upper Himalayas and surrounding countryside. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful - it’s clear that they care a lot about their guests. As for accommodation, it’s wonderfully artsy and rustic-looking but with all the modern amenities and comfort a person could ask for. Plus, the food was great! If I could give this place more than five stars, I would.

The best thing about this home stay is.. It's positive energy and good vibes.. one can feel as soon as he steps into the property... . the location is good and it's very close to the Kasar Devi Temple. The owner is a superb host. He will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. The cook is also great... One can ask anything. Would highly recommend if you want to take a break from the monotonous and hectic life. This property will surely help you rejuvenate. MUST VISIT.

The place is really beautiful and peaceful! The host Manoj bhai is very kind and intellectual person. They made our stay very much comfortable ! The memorable trip. It's like a homely feel. The place had such an earthern n natural vibe . The views were great. The location was just perfect. The food was really nice. Our host was such a humble , warm and welcoming person. He made sure of our comforts n needs during our stay.

We visited the place 2 weeks back and stayed there for a night. It was a very comfortable stay. Mr. Manoj eagerly attended to all our requests and made sure we felt at home. A very warm place to spend time with your loved ones. Manoj bhaiya (the owner) is a wonderful human being who made our stay very comfortable and made sure of every little comfort of his guest. Must visit for all. I m certainly going again to detach myself from the noise of the city.

Zen Oakes is a lovely property with amazing views of the greater Himalayas. My stay with my family was lovely with very comfortable and warm rooms, a crackling fire and very tasty kumaoni food. The manager. Mr. Manoj, was very helpful with arranging visits to nearby spots of interest and transport. We look forward to our next visit with more meaningful conversations over cups of delicious tea.

Zen Oaks homestay is great. On the first day i was a bit late, yet Manoj waited for me to arrive and helped me out with the check-in part. He's a great host and knows a lot about nature and life, so do enjoy a conversation when you're there. Totally recommended

If I have to describe my experience in one word and that would be "Splendid". The environment is awesome and the serive is unimaginable. People are so friendly and supportive that not even a single minute you would feel lonely. Everything is at your service in couple of minutes. If you are mountain lover then you should stay at Zen Oaks. The view is so beautiful that it cannot be put in words. The food is delicious and mouth watering. Zen Oaks is a home to me, as I was staying there for 10 days. I opted for dorm which was clean and nice. Manoj and Neeta ji made sure the stay was very comfortable as I was traveling solo. The view from there is so beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to people who love solace, silence and most importantly nature. The property is placed in between the mountains. They grow few fruits and vegetables, I was lucky enough to have them. I would really like to thank Narayan ji, the master chef who cooks amazing Kumaoni food. He cooks super delicious food and I really enjoyed all the dishes cooked by him in local style. Don't forget to meet Dadaji(Manoj ji father). He is simple, humble yet beautiful human being with a glorifying smile on his face.

A experience beyond words. I've never been so close to the nature and have always wondered if I could settle myself for peace in hills but glad I took a chance and chose Zen Oaks as my home away from home. I stayed there for 8 days and not even a single day I thought of changing the plan. Mr Manoj and his team are amazing host and the moment I reached I didn't feel like a guest, it became my home. Being a solo traveller I was concerned about safety and hygiene but pooff... All my doubts were gone once I entered Zen Oaks. Being a farm/ home stay it was so nicely decorated and so clean that I just didn't wanted to leave the place and actually wanted to settle their for few more days. And safety, I can give my words for it. About food, one can get the best organic pahadi as well as north Indian food. The management is very accommodating and they cook fresh food grown in their farm organically. I loved the combo of dorm and private cottage and glad I met variety of people there and just loved how we all connected including Manoj and his wife Neeta. Ofcourse I can't miss to mention Shyam who was introduced to me by Manoj to help me travel around Almora. Shyam is an amazing person and ofcourse a great driver. I'm looking forward to my next stay at Zen Oaks in September this year and this time not fot days but atleast a month. A huge thanks to Zen Oaks team.

What a fantastic place to stay. Manoj was truly so helpful, sincere, loving and supportive. Anything we needed was promptly catered to. The location was absolutely serene. I went on a day hike from behind the property and it was exceptionally fun.

This trip has changed our perception of having our own Land/ Home on Hills. The Zen Oaks is the right place, wherein you will find almost everything, Homely Ambience, Healthy Meal, Hygienic rooms, dense forest and top of that panoramic view of snow peaked mountains, all with very nominal tariffs. The last and not least the availability of water especially from tap with full force...:) Would personally suggest to visit atleast once to Zen Oaks for a day with the 2-3 days as reserve which you will definitely going to utilize.

I had a wonderful experience at Zen Oaks Home Stay. I was looking for a quiet, rustic stay in the midst of nature, misty mountains, forests, birds to rest and explore at my own pace and that's precisely what I found. The house is amazing, located in the forest with one of the best view of the highest pick in the area. We have been welcomed and cuddled. Food they prepared for us we made with plant of their garden and the tiny house where we slept was pretty and cleaned. Beside this they have us all the informations to continue our journey. No one bad remarks. For sure I wish to come back here.

Amazing stay! Courteous and prompt staff. The rooms were tidy and spacious. I travelled with a dog (Oreo) and Manoj, the owner made every effort to make him comfortable. The food is scrumptious and loved the service. The views is beautiful. Will definitely visit again and recommend others too.
